Het hotel heeft hele fijne bedden en zorgt voor een kwalitatief en gezond ontbijt.
Graag extra flesje water of koffie/thee op kamers

Location and friendly staff. Design part is great as far as it was accessible (haven’t seen the rooms in the new building).
Climbing up the stairs when you are located in the old building.

It was nice to have fan in the room, otherwise it would be extremely hot inside
Nice place to stay for a night, great breakfast
4.2
Great modern rooms very close to Vitra.

The communication with reception staff was perfect. The room itself was good. The breakfast was very good, eggs made to order cappuccino was a nice surprise. Covered off street parking was good.
The access to our room was interesting. We arrived after the reception area was closed, so we used the lock box to obtain our key. Got in to the historic building and headed up a circular staircase that required close attention to avoid missteps on the short inside treads. No way would we be able to carry our luggage up those stairs. (We are packed for a 3 week trip, perhaps not efficiently.) An elevator was available from the parking garage to an area outside our room's hallway but had to go back down to the entry and go up the stairs to open the door to the outside to get to bring in our luggage. Once we got that done the visit was pretty good.

The facility advertises itself as a design hotel without providing information about what type of room is in the modern building. I had unknowingly booked a room in an old Gasthaus belonging to a hotel. There is no restaurant in the hotel and arriving on Sunday evening it is practically impossible to eat anything. Also there is no one from the staff to help.
Stuffy room, uncomfortably furnished, on the second floor without an elevator, which makes it difficult to access with a suitcase. No response from staff to complaints made in the morning. Breakfast tasteless and limited choice.

Excellent location. Beautiful design rooms.
Restaurant is closed and breakfast was not so elaborate as it was in the past. Which is a pity

The breakfast was amazing, the bread was freshly baked with great choices of spread.
Dont miss out on the coffee.

I found this lication very well organized

The room was quite nice and sufficiently spacious for a family with 1 small child. Location is really good. Free parking available in site is also quite useful. Last but not least the hostess at the breakfast area is very polite and warm, looking after each guest like they are being hosted by a friend.
The only downside of the place were the towels at bathroom. They were all torn and obviously been used and washed a lot; they should be renewed.

convenient location
remote control not working
no reception staff present

Fantastic, modern room, great design, comfortable bed. Very close to the Vitra museum

The receptionist was amazing, kind and in the Christmas day she gave us a warming breakfast.
4.2
nice large room with two windows.
large bathroom.
Nice breakfast.
we arrived at 8.30 pm and nobody was there. We had to call in order to receive instruction.

Breakfast was very varied and delicious served in a very nice and quiet dinning area. The coffee was exceptional.

- Room
Nice and spacious room (we booked the bigger 2 person room). Once the windows are closed, its pretty quiet eventhough we were next to a street. The bathromo is clean and has a nice shower. The bed was good, sadly enough the pillows were very soft and made the sleep uncomfortable.
- Checkin checkout
Very quick and the front desk lady was very nice.
- Parking
There is a pretty big parking area on the property, underneath the restaurant (which is on top of some pillars). We had plenty of (free) parking space, which was ideal.
- Breakfast
Regular international breakfast which was nice. We were not asked if we would have liked some egg, but when leaving we saw others having some scrambled egg. I'm sure if we would have just asked it would have been provided.
Very soft and flat pillows.

excellent staff, amazing quality bed and interior

The location was easy to reach from the highway and a short walking distance to the Vitra Design Museum, which was the main reason for our visit. Our family (2 adults, 1 child, 1 infant) stayed 2 nights. The hotel provided us with a baby cot. Breakfast was healthy and delicious, and staff was friendly and hospitable. Our room was comfortable and stylish. Parking was located at the entrance of the hotel. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings, with playgrounds for children.
Our room was located on the 3rd floor of the hotel and half-accessible by lift (until the 2nd floor) and then stairs (3rd floor). This was a bit inconvenient with two small children and a large stroller. We had to depart very early (4am) and asked the hotel to kindly leave a small 'breakfast to-go' but unfortunately this request wasn't put through as expected. Very few family-friendly restaurants in the neighbourhood.

great place for visiting the Vitra Design Museum. Also very close to Basel (12 minutes by car).
4.2
Extremely friendly staff.
Evening meal very good but given the price, I think it would be fairer for hotel guests to get a discount
4.2
the friendly staff, the room, the breakfast, the flexibility
4.2
Good location right outside Basel
Outstanding restaurant for a memorable
dinner
Overall a bit pricey, considering the room’s size and feeatures

clean
very expensive restaurant. it was good but better check other places if you don’t want a star menu.
also I booked a single room with airconditioning as mentioned by Booking. the room only had a ventilator. Hotel say is mistake of booking.
the hotel could offered me a free beer but did nothing.
