The hosts, the view, the beaches nearby, the excellent breakfast!
Bathroom a bit on the small side.

Prime location, difficult to beat, right by the beach (a road runs in between but it’s small). Staff is incredibly kind. Equipments are high end and of great taste. Very good table.
The view from the garden view suite I had booked was not great (an inner courtyard) and cleaning was only done once in 3 nights. It has become standard in a lot of hotels but it’s not ideal when one brings sand in from the beach. It’s also a bit expensive.

Beautifully decorated place literally few steps away from the beach. The hotel is very well maintained and we felt welcome. Thalassa is a perfect choice if you wish stay further away from the crowds and have the closest beach nearly just for you ;) There's a local bus to the city and nearby beaches, but we recommend renting a car to experience the island and it's multiple beaches more freely. There's a couple nice tavernas close by, but DO NOT miss the dinner at Thalassa: Fotis' food is just outstanding!

Great location just a few meters from the beach, within walking distance form small and cozy beach restaurants. We had a sea view room with a fairly large terrace looking at the beach. The rooms and common areas are well designed and furnished with a true cycladic flavor. The host were absolutely wonderful, making sure we had a great time. We usually ate out, but one of the hosts runs the kitchen and excellent food is served in-house as well.

I have been to many countries and hotels, but I have never met such a friendly, caring and helpful business lady before. Holiday starts are very important to me and the hotel owners helps your holiday start off great . Location was perfect . Hotel smell like heaven . thank you so much for everything .
Cannot complain about anything.

Our hosts were the wonderful Pavlos and Fotis. Everything was first class, including the information we received prior to check-in. Our room was modern and clean and the breakfast was excellent and included some local home cooked cuisine.
Pavlos could not have been more helpful, offering all the advice we needed during our stay (and more) as well as booking our airport taxi and lending us beach towels when he knew we needed them. Do not book anywhere else!
All was perfect

We loved it so much we returned for an extra three night stay.
It is clean, safe and well located.
The choice of international and Greek cuisines is awesome. There is a mini market and beach bars next to the hotel. The food from the chef of the restaurant Fotis is excellent. We had breakfast and dinner
The staff at this hotel is professional, friendly and very helpful.
We will return
Everything was more than I expected

EVERYTHING! The hosts were absolutely amazing, very friendly and helpful! The food was delicious, Fotis is a real chief and dinner and breakfasts were just joy, the view on the sea from the room, the great location, the beautiful rooms with great decoration. Even bath products natural and Greek were so fine. We stayed 4 nights, it was wonderful! We would love to come back!

The service - Pavlos and Fortis are the most welcoming hosts!
The food - great quality, and a nice version of local / Greek food, with great ingredients
The decor - understated, cool design
a few meters walk for a great beach!
Have slept like a stone - need to say anything more :-)?
would welcome a lounge area to have drinks / read a book in the afternoon but they say it’s in the plans!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The room was lovely, clean and well-decorated. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. They offer dinner at the hotel which is a must-do, it was our favourite dining experience on Naxos. The location is great, very near to the best beaches.
Highly recommend!

Excellent location, wonderful hosts, super friendly and they appear to genuinely enjoy what they do, each in their field. Super clean, looked-after premises, and the food is a must-try not only for those who stay there but for anyone on Naxos who wants to eat well. Dining on Naxos is an embarrassment overall, but the chef Pavlos stands out.
It is a little bit expensive, all things considered. I found prices on certain items (not all) a bit extreme.

Very nice decoration, very nice seaview, delicious food!
Beautiful beach right in front the house! One of the most beautiful beaches at the island!
Daily cleaning!
I thought, that the room would be a little bit bigger. We are a family of four, with two little kids and heavy bags (traveling 3 weeks in Greece). There is nothing to put the clothes in, the bathroom is really small and the place to wash yourself in the first room to sleep.
There is no possibility to sit together as a family because of the small balcony (with a great view)! No place to cook little things.
I would highly recommend it for Families with older kids or couples. The seaview suits ground floor have bigger space outside.

We loved the friendly, charming and helpful hosts; the delicious food, based on tradition, but always modernised and with playful, well chosen twists; the laid-back atmosphere, the style and cleanliness of the place; and of course the nearby beaches: beautiful stretches of sand and crystal clear waters.

Location, very beautiful decoration, delicious breakfast.
Warm welcome and availability when needed
Bed was just a bit hard for us but it's a personal habit to sleep on soft mattress.

It’s hard to describe that feeling when you arrive at Thalassa - the sea, hearing the waves so close to you, the warmth of the island sun, the very careful attention to details integrated in the design, the romantic rooms and dinner at sunset, alongside a glass of refreshing wine.
Pavlos and Fotis have made our stay truly remarcable and we definitely want to come back to enjoy the beach and everything Naxos has to offer.

Everything was wonderful! The rooms are lovely and clean (very comfy bed). We had a room with a sea view that was amazing. The food is absolutely delicious :) Fotis is an excellent cook ☺️👌Both Fotis and Pavlos made out stay at Thalassa pleasant. I recommend this place highly.
Everything was great :)

Amazing accommodation, recently renovated, felt very luxurious. Nice design, love in the details everywhere. The sea view room is AMAZING lovely view, could hear the ocean waves from the bed. The hosts are amazing, they really put a personal touch in their service! Would definitely recommend Thalassa Naxos and plan to return when I visit Naxos again.

Such an amazing eye for the interior and the details. Very beautiful setting that will make you feel right at home, especially as a solo traveller. Pavlos and Fortis made my stay so comfortable and relaxing. Also, Pavlos was so flexible despite my very late check in and late check out it was no problem to accommodate it. The food that Fortis makes is incredible! There’s really no need to go out for dinner really.
The location right by the beautiful beach of Kastraki is unbeatable. Still, it’s better to take a car as everything else is fairly far off.
Thank you Pavlos and Fortis for the beautiful, relaxing and wonderful time. Thank you for being so helpful and kind! I definitely hope to come back soon next summer!
I loved everything.

Super nice location at the beach in a quiet area of Naxos. We got a free upgrade upon arrival too!
Great sunset views from the rooms and the main terracez
The hosts Fotis and Pavlos were so lovely and welcoming- we highly recommend to try Fotis’ homemade dinner menus :) (and also the breakfasts).
It’s about 25 mins drive to the main city of Naxos or to the mountain villages, we would recommend hiring a car if you want to explore the area.

We had a studio with a balcony at the front of the house and lovely views of the sea and the glorious sunset . The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated . We enjoyed very much sitting on the balcony and taking our breakfast there . Pavlos managed to find us a scooter which is essential if you want to travel a bit on the island . Otherwise the bus stop is in walking distance of the property( we arrived and left by bus, it’s cheap and takes about 45 minutes from Naxos) and so is a lovely taverna where we took most of our meals . The beach just in front of Thalassa is very nice and not crowded, ideal if you like being away from the crowds like us! Our stay was very enjoyable and Pavlos and Fotis made us feel very welcome.

The meals are stunning! The hosts are the nicest people whatsoever. The location is impressive!

There are many reasons to stay at the Thalassa but the one that stood out for us was the exceptional dining experience. The food we experienced by Fortis is by far the best we’ve experienced on Naxos; The carefully considered menu, the creativity with local ingredients, his passion when he explains the menu and Pavlos’ front of house style make this an experience not to be missed. This is by far one of the best kept secrets on Naxos… although maybe not for long!

The location and coast line is excellent. Breakfast is very good with organic products.
construction site next door with builders. We requested to move to a more quiet room and we were. Small bathrooms.

I only wish we stayed there for longer! The remote beach, the sunset from the balcony, the people we met at the villa - all was perfect. It was my boyfriends birthday and the hosts even prepared a birthday dessert with candles! We had breakfast at the villa and dinner at a local restaurant Taverna Axiotissa - I highly recommend both!

Beautiful place to stay at! It is right on the beach - which has white sand and crystal clear water. Though it is not crowded at all bit rather empty and quiet. Perfect to relax! The hosts are really nice and you definitely have to try the food. It was actually better than all the taverns we ate at. We would love to come back!
