staff we’re excellent, meals were good value and varied enough. Dining room was a great meeting place and well serviced.
a bit remote, a bit dated in facilities, showers and washing facilities were basic.

well located, good size of rooms
The ski room was not at the level…
Hard to have your gear dried up

Host and hostess were impossibly helpful. They helped me plan my entire visit, including transpiration and ski rental, and picked me up from the train station.
Says private bathroom, but that’s a lie. Private bath, communal toilet.

The team at OAC were excellent. They were so welcoming and helpful in every situation. Daily shuttles to and from wherever you wanted to go.

Mark, Sayuri and their staff are so welcoming and friendly. Nothing was a problem and they made us feel at home.
They offer shuttle services to Niseko village and Hirafu in the evenings. They also have their own restaurant with great, well priced food and drinks.
Close distance to Milk Kobo with the restaurants and dairy worth a visit. We also did a visit to the mixed onsen at Niseko Grand hotel which was excellent.
Spotlessly clean amenities. We enjoyed breakfast each morning - cereal, yoghurt, toast with jams, eggs, bacon or ham etc.
Thank you for your hospitality Mark, Sayuri and family! We hope to see you again another time.
Hirafu is very busy at night - book restaurants in advance if you plan to go there for dinner.

The breakfast. The van that shuttled me around diff resorts.
Shower is in the basement. Hot water is not consistent.

The staff treated us like family members. It felt like we were visiting friends instead of staying in an stuffy cookie cutter hotel. I’m going back home completely refreshed from fantastic sleep and adventure.
The location is remote but the bus lines and staff were very accommodating to help get you around. I enjoyed the remoteness but that may not be for everyone.

Everything! The rooms are super clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. The location was right smack in the middle of Grand Hirafu, Niseko Village and Nook Annupuri, and a quick 30min drive to Rusutsu East Mountain.
Even the shared toilets and sinks were always clean!
Thanks guys! Loved the place!
A downside is the fact that the toilet is outside the room, but room 202 had an en suite bath which was spick and span!
We also got a few stinkbugs/little beetles native to the area to get rid of daily. Somehow, they got into our room. But thats what you get in nature! They didn't bother us except that they flew around a lot in the night, which got a little buzzy/noisy.
