Location Good
location , but that is hard to fix

Pet friendly, lots of space in room (junior suite), friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful gardens and well curated space.
Restaurant on site is nice but mediocre...still very nice to have that as an option considering how remote it is in comparison to good restaurants in Coban which is about 30 minutes away.
Place is solidly per friendly so it is strange that they didn't allow dog inside restaurant. Not a deal breaker but strange.

Hotel is gorgeous, rooms are confortable and beautifully decorated, the view is amazing, so many amenities that make the place really special (pool, orquids, plants, jacuzzi, tejmazcal, deer).
For the price of the room breakfast should be included, and the food from the restaurant isn’t very good.

This place is wonderful. All the details, the welcome, the location, you can see it has been built with love and intention.
I was with family but it is perfect for couples, for solo traveling who wish to rest and recharge.
It is located in one of the most fascinating towns in Coban.
And the restaurant is excellent!
So definitely will be back.

I love the Hotel, the staff, it is good located. However we are a group of three families, one family booked directly to the Hotel and pay half of what I paid for the same room. The other one booked by booking also and they paid even less than a half and get a much better room.
I liked the property.

The rooms were spacious and lovely, with fresh flowers, towel animals, and a cozy fireplace. The grounds were gorgeous, from the view off our balcony to walking through the garden, to lounging by the pool. The food was quality, freshly made, and had a good mix of local and comfort foods. Coming from Pennsylvania, the Dutch touches were familiar. They had English menus available. The staff was friendly, and patient with our broken spanish. When our toddler fell asleep at lunch, they wrapped his burger so he could eat it later (and he did).
While the website offers an English version, no one at the resort interacted in English with the guests. This was fine for those of us that do speak Spanish, but left those who didn't feeling a bit helpless.
I couldn't locate public access to drinking water. Everyone just paid for water bottles, but it would have been nice and appropriate to at least have a 5 gallon dispenser somewhere visible. Coffee service was also stingey.
Service was unusual in that it wasn't timed for everyone to receive their meals at the same time, and drinks took a very long time. Im a bartender in a restaurant from a travel family. I've served food, crafted cocktails, and dined around the world. This type of service is atypical. The bar portion was only open with a bartender for the event we attended.
While our room was lovely, our shower was lukewarm at best. Other guests in the suites complained of the same.
