I liked the capsules a lot better than other ones in other hostels. They're quite spacious with nice dimmable light and an inside mirror. It was overall very clean.
The beds don't have real mattresses and are very hard. My back hurt all day after I slept there.

Very well designed pods, and good breakfast, easy to chat and meet other guests.
This location desperately needs a shuttle.

At base of Moiwa. Clean. Staff mostly helpful. Included breakfast
Really got screwed on exchange rate using credit card. Terrible mattress in pod, compressed in weighted spots so you were feeling hard surface below. Only vegetable at breakfast was lettuce, no fruit or other veg. Restaurant expensive and lousy. No transportation other than taxies, prohibitively expensive. You were stuck there wi nothing to do at night. Cab ride to village wi stores, bars, restaurants, and much better skiing, 30-40 usd one way for 10 minute ride. All in all, sucked for a single person. Maybe better for groups who could split taxi costs.

For a capsule hotel, I’m not sure how you could improve this place. The staff were very helpful and always available (eg providing the correct charger converter, bus timetable etc), the entire place was very clean, there was ample space given to each person (a large amont under the bed + a large ski locker to keep your skiwear), and if you’re skiing in Moiwa, you are right next to the resort you could not be any closer. The lodge is conveniently located around 4 onsen closeby (within a 20 minute walk).
It is worth noting that there is little in terms of local amenities such as a convenience store and most closeby places are a 10-20 minute walk. You can access the Niseko United ski resort from the lodge but buses run every couple hours so they are not very regular.

The lodge is literally in front of the ski rental place and ski lift. The facility is very clean and modern. There's a large room with a wood stove with good WiFi, free tea etc.
The logistics of getting from Moiwa to the rest of Niseko or to the airport is sort of maddening. Everything has to be reserved, and there are like 5 bus companies, each with their own policies, schedules, phone numbers. It's not something you can leave to the last minute.

Location and bedroom. Facilities was good.
Hard bed. Bad breakfast.

It was clean and functional, and right there on the slopes.
Staff didn't respond to messages beforehand - I wouldn't have known the restaurant was closed (due to covid) if I hadn't called ahead. Staff also told me there was no way to get there and back from Annupuri other than by taxi, when there were a couple of (infrequent, but still existing) bus services per day. The capsules were fine but it was overpriced for what you actually get compared with the same service in other locations. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Even if the restaurant were open, vegans/vegetarians should their own food, or better still, stay at the nearby Moiwa Lodge. I don't expect to stay here again.

The space. I loved how the lounge area was so spacious as there were not too many people. I visited other places whilst I was there and they were sooo crowded. The ski slopes were also not so busy so anyone can take their own sweet time, be laid back and really enjoy the holiday. The staff were so warm and friendly. They helped me get transport and constantly asked me if I needed anything. The capsule was spacious for me as a petite Asian woman and the rooms were so quiet and made me feel sleepy the instant I went in. The breakfast was sensible for the price. Next time I’m visiting Niseko, I’m not staying anywhere else unless they are fully booked!
None.

Being next to the ski lift was amazing, I really liked how easy it was to go between the capsule hotel and the mountain. I woke up to a beautiful snowy morning on the mountain. Compared to my negative experience the night before, the morning was much better and they made sure to help me get a taxi scheduled to take me back and took care of my stuff. The facilities were honestly really nice (even if the shower area was a bit chilly). I loved playing with the light in the capsule and would like to stay there again if they bring back the shuttle service.
Maybe I just fell through the cracks, but it was awful trying to communicate with them especially on the first night. They no longer offer a shuttle service so you have to take a 3000-3300 yen taxi from the station (wasn't told it would be this much). When I arrived at the station there were no taxis at the taxi stand. I had asked the lodge to book me one earlier via booking.com messaging but they had no response, not even a phone number to give me. When I arrived I called them and was on the phone for 8 minutes of mostly silence before asking to just give me a taxi number. I tried the one they gave and no one picked up. I did some of my own research and found Hachiriki Taxi to take me 40 minutes later. If you're a solo traveler, you need to decide if it's worth it to spend 6250 yen round trip in taxis when you could just book a hotel with a free shuttle so you don't have to sit at a cold station for an hour and a half waiting not knowing how to get there. I included the taxi numbers they had on their wall at the lodge in my photos. Food is also closed on the premises during covid times, so make sure to bring some stuff so you're not laying in your capsule angry and hungry.

The location is great; it’s just steps from the Moiwa ski lifts.
Since the restaurant is closed, the breakfast is served at the Moiwa Ski restaurant now. It’s very basic: one boiled egg and one piece of toast. I was disappointed.
