Pleasant staff, clean, comfortable bed & pillows, excellent breakfast.
Our room at the front was subject to noise from an extractor fan, which luckily was turned off when the pub closed.

Well appointed room, excellent shower and breakfast was of high quality
Unfortunately the restaurant was not open in the evening during our stay but we were advised before our stay.

This is the second time we have stayed. The hotel offers fantastic value for money in a nice village close to the Broads. Very nice breakfast served by a very efficient waitress.

Excellent breakfast, very friendly staff, comfortable beds.
Unfortunately, the heat in the room was overpowering and we woke with headache. We did tell the staff, but it didn't seem to alter.

Very good accommodation, spacious shower, particularly liked the expresso machine in the room, overall a very positive experience.
Breakfast was good -plenty of choice and freshly prepared
Mixed clientele with a lot of locals using the pub facilities and restaurant
I was on my own so the double bed was big enough but if my wife had been with me it would have seemed small - but that could be that I have a superking at home

Over all, everything was excellent, wished we had stayed longer.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like, but…….It would have been nice to of had another arm chair in room, We also felt there should have been a door mat outside our room to wipe our feet, and we could of done with a few more tea bags, sugar and milk and more water in a capped bottle to save using water from the bathroom.
Chocolate on the towel and toiletries was a lovely bonus.

Property had character. Nice big room with a comfy bed and spacious bathroom/shower.
Too cold on arrival, we had to put the heating on full blast for a couple of hours to warm up.
Cobwebs and n the corners of the room, so clearly hasn’t been used or cleaned in a while.

Good location 10miles from city and 20 miles from coast, friendly and helpful staff

Modern clean room, separate from main building. Didn't realise this and thought we'd be in main building which looked nice on site, but still nice. Village feel with everything you need near by.
Public access through hotel Car park, passing right next to our rooms. Sound proofing needed as woke by people walking by early hours on the gravel. Covered roof outside above front doors leaks causing a loud leak if rain is heavy. Clean glass on this roof. Small things make a difference, like you care about the details. Makes customers feel like they matter to make their stay the best you can. Details are essential.

Both (husband and wife) had salmon on spinach one evening which was excellent.
Room was rather dark so we had to have lights on all the time.
I had fried egg , bacon and 2 VERY large mushrooms one morning, only just warm, none of it appetising.
Poached eggs (2) overcooked so couldn't eat white of egg, bacon overcooked which was fine for me but not my
husband. Tomatoes were fine. This was second morning.

Breakfast was OK, although service was very slow on one morning and our order was muddled up.
Bedding was too warm. Being in a ground floor room it was not practical to sleep with the window open. Bathroom fittings badly worn.

Nice staff, nice pub, central village location, large room, nice restaurant.
Unfortunately our room, number 6, was right opposite three large extractor fans and air conditioning units. The room had no double glazing so it was very noisy all night. I did not sleep at all during the night. I noticed the noise as soon we walked in the room but the manager assured me they would be turned off in the evening. I went across to reception to ask for help at 1am and obviously no-one was there at 1am to deal with the issue. I dare the owners to spend one night in this room!

The area was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable
2 small areas for consideration for the team who were all very helpful and friendly. There was a smell of drains which was reported and site said they would look at this. Poor parking for people staying x 2 nights we had to park over the road in a public car park. The site should consider marking room numbers parking spots.

The wet room
We were in room 6 and the noise of the air filter or such like outside our bedroom window was a little difficult especially at night.
We eat in the evening three times, and would have like more vegetables or salad on the menu.
