Please don’t book this place if you’re paying premium and expect decent experience.

Location was the only good thing here

I booked the room for my parents who are 62 (65 kg) and 55 (52 kg) yrs old. The whole experience was horrible and extremely frustrating. The staff on top of it was charging Rs.1,500 (cash) or Rs.1,800 with bill for early check in. After a lot of talk they gave back 1200. The room, furniture, and bed were all small and very old and shaky. I understand this is an old property but when you pay Rs.5k per night, the property has to be well maintained to hold the value. Ac was also too old and wasn’t functioning well.

I expected a better deal considering the name, may be they can take proces up a bit and maintain the place well.

It is very centrally located and rooms were very spacious.

As the name suggests it was a heritage mansion, but for a heritage mansion it was kept pretty badly. The first impression of this place wasn't too great, especially the chairs and couch in the room were stained.(Certainly didn't think that summed up to be a heritage style, it rather looked dirty). Receptionist seemed polite but she lacked information about the city, and as a tourist usually your first go to people are receptionists and hotel staff for help.

An excellent and a relaxing stay at the hotel. Staff were very good and polite.

It was a very good property the feeling of a heritage was very much seen in the entire property. Well maintained

It can do with a little more spit and polish, but overall a nice place

The hotel is well managed as the prop too stays in the same property. During breakfast, i met the gentleman who owns and runs the property, too was taking his breakfast.

Though the room had a tea kettle and tea coffee kits, BUT there were no tea cups. Surely an avoidable slip in service

Staff is good…property is clean..ambiance is good.

Rooms are spacious but paint gets old..In breakfast…everyday same menu… Breakfast is not much tasty… Food is very good and tasty…restaurant is very clean and neat…well organised…good in service. But prices of menu’s are high and also quantity is less as compared to high price. Overall it’s good.

Disappointing

Staff was very kind and helpful.

Some works were on going in the building. All day it was very noisy, from 8am in the morning. Swimming pool area was not clean and looks much older and used than on the pictures.

The swimming pool was the main reason why I had booked the property. It was usable but the property was under maintenance and it was basically not very much usable.

Oasis in Ahmedabad!

Great property in a lovely garden setting, it’s just a bit difficult to find as its down an alleyway, not a road. Friendly reception staff kindly upgraded my room which was clean & spacious with a large bathroom. The food was delicious with a huge variety of veg & international dishes for breakfast, lunch & dinner. There’s also an enticing pool. It felt like an oasis in a big city and I enjoyed it so much I have booked to return.

Property is good, enjoyed stay at heritage house completing 100 yrs next yr, glad to meet owner

Breakfast was good, but there is location issue for first time travellers to search, even local cab drivers, not able to find properly, so the entrance shpould be made more informative, or google map should be made more accurate the property

Very short of support staff, may be due to festival season

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided with everything and helped us with every request. We had a late night flight, so after we made the check out, they allowed us to keep our luggages in the lobby. The restaurant is very good, the food is delicious and the prices are great. Aprox 20 min ride to the airport
