quirky but superb stay. Virtually all requirements perfectly met. Deeply relaxing, lots to do or not as wished. Locals and towns charming, supermarkets easy to navigate. Food delicious. Only drawback for us was that one room had not toilet/ bathroom and had to access one through the night by going through someone else's bedroom! No downstairs toilet other than an ensuite. Not major issue but still an issue. Overall excellent and would highly reccommend.

Lovely location and just right for current situation (pandemic) as away from it all. Well equipped and spacious. Eric very helpful. Family friendly. Just one comment - a "communal" toilet and wash basin would be useful somewhere on ground level. As guest in downstairs bedroom had to allow use of bathroom on occasion, especially for the children. Would go back again and will recommend to others.

Full of character, excellently presented and equipped. Even nicer than the photos. Spacious interior, lovely grounds, activities in abundance.
Our family & friends group of 8 adults including 3 18-22 year olds had a lovely time.

A most delightful property and a very welcoming host in a most peaceful location. The manoir suited us so well as a family of 11, the youngest being 2yrs and the most mature 72yrs! It was to celebrate my big birthday (Erik's champagne much appreciated!) and there was plenty of space for all to get lost in. Lovely beaches & walks nearby, and through the woods on the property and bikes for those energetic souls! The rooms, all themed were a delight & I particularly loved our bedroom "Vol de Nuit" up the quirky spiral stone staircase. The dining table accommodated us all and the pool table and games a treat. A most delightful stay in a lovely setting and a splendid and well appointed characterful property.

Fourteen of us in seven sports cars stayed here 11-18 May. Great presence and location. We were lucky with nice sunny weather. Easy to get to beaches and superb coastline as well as further afield. Two hours drive direct from St. Malo but detoured quite a bit sightseeing on arrival day. Great facilities to keep a group entertained and amused within the house and in the gardens. The only down side is only having five bedrooms with en suite. Luckily the owner agreed to the use of another private room with a bathroom. Although it still meant one couple had to share bathroom facilities. Overall, however, we had a great time and would return again.

We were here for a big family celebration and it worked perfectly. The children thought it was a magical castle and thoroughly enjoyed meeting the donkeys. The parents had an equally enjoyable time and haven't stopped talking about it since our return.

We had a fabulous stay in August. Our group of 16 aged 7-72 years thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house has so much space that we always had chance to find a quiet spot. Lots of outdoor seating around the grounds as well. We had 6 teens who loved the pool table and great wifi. With a group of mixed ages it was also really good to have English Tv.
The manoir is stunning - an excellent renovation with large spacious bedrooms and modern bathrooms.
Erik was a great host- always quick to answer when we contacted with small issues.
The house is isolated - so perfect to getaway from it all. It's ideally located for lots of fabulous trips around Brittany and there is tons of info and maps at the house.
Special thanks from the children for kindly bringing crepes!

Great house in a great location, with plenty of room to enjoy my 60th birthday with my family - however we didn't factor in the owners regular and unannounced visits and daily messages commenting on how we were using the house - such as 'turn the lights off/ close the windows/ did you go out and leave the door open' - or his shouting at us at 10.01 on the day of departure to 'get out of his house' as he had 'beaucoup travail' before the next guests. I wouldn't recommend this house if privacy on holiday is important to you. The house needs an extra bathroom - despite having five bathrooms they are all ensuite - which is a problem for anyone staying in a bedroom without any facilities - there is no general access bathroom/toilet.

We have had a brilliant family holiday at Kervingant with ages ranging from 3 to 78. There is plenty to expolore around the grounds, and the pool and table tennis had maximum use. Plestin-les-Greves market is a must, and Super U has everything you could want. St Efflam beach is great for paddle boarding and beach games, but a very long trek if you get the tide wrong! Sand yachting looked fantastic but was fully booked for the time we wanted it. (Book early in the week if you fancy sand yachting!) Locquirec has a lovely walk round the point and good bars by the port. The 3Ts restaurant in Lanvellec did a very good 'night out' for the over 40s which wasn't overly expensive. (Closed Tuesday and Wednesday)
The only down side of the house was that there was no communal toilet on the ground floor other than the en-suite one. It would also have been lovely to have an in-ground pool in the menage, but maybe that is in the pipeline for the future. In no way did either of these detract from the enjoyment of our stay at Kervingant.
Thank you Erik for the use of your house and for the goodies you gave us when we arrived. Our week was a great family success.

We were a large family party (11) who rented during the second week in June. The property had a real wow factor on arrival and on initial exploration of its 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. We never ran out of hot water which was great but there was general consensus that more towels would have been nice. All the bedrooms had a different theme ( NB no communal bathroom or toilet). . There were lots of comfortable nooks and crannies for people to get away from each other including 2 sitting areas with televisions, one English the other French. The dining table easily accommodated our party size. The pool table provided good entertainment as did the table tennis outside, There were bikes for the more energetic and there was a large and very beautiful garden, There were lovely beaches 25 mins away. One drawback was the lack of any shops in nearby Tremal and so we had to travel 15 mins by car very day for provisions in Plestin le Greve, but only a minor inconvenience. For those arriving from Ireland on the Sat night/ Sun ferry, it might be useful to know that out of high season, the local supermarket in Plestin is closed all day Sunday, We went to restaurant Ty Mad in Plestin on Monday evening and the food was superb.
This is a great rental for a big group who want to get away from it all, it is very secluded. However be aware that due to the ancient nature of this 'oldie worldie' property, the stairs are steep especially the lovely stone spiral stairs. Definately a house with charm and character.
