Peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed.

Spacious apartment in central Windhoek

Walking distance to central Windhoek, a well-protected court was available for our parking, the apartment was big with two sleeping rooms, living room, kitchen, bath and separate toilet and well equipped with oven, stove, microwave, laundry machine, etc. A mall with some supermarkets and snack places is across the street.

upon entering the room, an awkward check off a list of all items present in the apartment was made, e.g. tools and plates in all drawers of the kitchen, count of pillows and towels etc, which had to be signed. On the wall was a list of prices for all these items if broken or lost. I cannot judge if such practice is necessary for longer-time rentals, but it is a bit unusual from my experience for a two-night stay.

Family stay in Down town Wdhk

The Location was great, the staff were good and place was always kept very clean

The simolicity of some of the furniture the beddings theres definitely room for improvement.

Surprisingly good.

The rooms are on one side of a secure courtyard. No lifts- but no problem for us. A large, spacious apartment with all mod. cons and comfortable seating. We would be happy to stay there for some time but probably not for much eating in. There is a shopping centre with food and cafes across the road and a KFC very nearby. Pretty good security. They also gave us advice regarding walking around town. Well sited for everything we wanted to see.

The main issue was that we asked for and were promised a room away from the road - but then we were not given one. So do not trust their promises. In fact, noise was not a significant problem on the top floor - but that's not the point. You have to accept that it is in a (mostly fairly quiet) part of a city and there are generator or air conditioning sounds around which are noticeable at night. We didn't have significant problems with insects but I did find 2 bites on the second night so keep the windows closed. It is, of course, possible that they were not bitten at the Guest House. I probably wouldn't undertake to do any significant cooking there, either, as the amount of equipment was pretty limited.

they have to improve the cleaning of the bedroom sheets , they were dirty.

Would have been great

Unfortunately we had a problem getting over there border dlso lost our bookings for the two nights books but would love to come again in the new vear when the visas are sorted

A bit of forgiveness that we couldn't make the booking, after being detained at the border post perhaps we can reschedule

- convenient location walking distance to the main points of interest. However, the neighborhood is shady after dark, I would not recommend walking in the vicinity alone. - staff was very kind, attentive and eager to help. - spacious well-equipped rooms.

- one of the bedrooms reeked of cigarette smoke. - although the bed sheets were clearly washed and ironed, they were not clean.

Great location and even greater staff

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable. They were particularly accommodating in letting us do a late check-out.

Very VERY weak Wi-Fi.

Fabulous, wonderful location and central, lots of facilities close-by and just wonderful people

I loved this location very much and my room was number 2 - very large, clean and full of light. Loved it. Staff were great and super friendly. The security was wonderful and I loved chatting with them and giving them extra food treats.

Superb stay and room exceeded my expectations

i loved the size of this self-catered apartment. Wonderful. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. Everything was clean and the location is great being very much central in Windhoek. Grateful and happy to have this experience and I would go back again.
