About this villa rental
Villa los Helechos has 200 m2, garden, solarium, pool and barbecue. Large covered terrace with seating and dining table. The pool of 10 m in length has hydromassage. It has 3 bedrooms, the large master room with en suite bathroom and access to the terrace. Totally equipped kitchen and private Parkin.

This is a superb villa in a perfect location. Extremely private and quiet yet close to shops, restaurants, beach etc. I would recommend it to anyone. Communication with the owner and property manager could not have been better. They were very accommodating about us getting in at the start of the holiday and leaving at the end. All in all marvellous.

Excellent comfortable villa. Good size and location.A very enjoyable and quiet location. I would say that having a car was quite important, for shopping and enjoying visiting other areas of the island.

Communication with the property owner was good and we were greeted by the Villa manager upon arrival .
The Villa is authentic, full of character and located in a quiet neighbourhood. It was presented in a very clean condition. Some of the fixtures and decor are perhaps just about ready for some updates and maintenance however on the whole these were minor observations.
There is a good choice of local restaurants, bars and shops and Costa Teguise centro is only a short walk away with its amenities and beautiful beach.
We enjoyed a relaxing and comfortable stay thank you.

We had a wonderful stay in the villa and will most certainly come back again. We enjoyed the outside area and the pool a lot. Quiet and nice area and a lovely host.

Enjoyed our stay at Villa Los Helechos. Spacious accommodation in a quiet location and very private. Good location with bars and restaurants nearby.

Overall we had a lovely stay, the villa is spacious and well equiped. Dishwasher, oven, microwave (a little old and rusty ) washing machine, coffee maker, toaster etc.
Large fridge/freezer.
Lots of cultery and crockery provided but some flat bladed knives would have been good as there were only steak knives to use.
A lovely gesture of water, wine and olives on arrival..thank you.
We were able to check in early which was very good & much appreciated.
The master suite was lovely, very comfortable bed & spacious.
Pool towels are provided which is nice. Good BBQ area even though we did not use it. Comfortable lounge area & four sets of sliding patio doors throughout the villa made it a lovely open space.
Two of the bedrooms were locked so we are not able to comment on them.
There were a few areas that need attention. Some light bulbs did not work and need replacing.
The second bathroom had mouldy and rusty areas and a cracked cistern cover on the toilet & cracked wall tiles. It is in need of an upgrade. The master bathroom was much better but could still do with updating. Both bathrooms were tired and really in need of replacement.
If there had been more of us staying at the villa we would have all had to use the en-suite bathroom as we do not feel the second bathroom was in an acceptable condition.
The pool was absolutly freezing !! We tried to use it but it was impossible as it was just too cold. We had hot days during our stay in March so it would have been nice if we had been able to use it.
It is part of what you pay for so should be useable.
Maritza, who looks after the villa, was very helpful & despite the language barrier we managed to communicate well. She came in half way through our stay , cleaned the villa, changed the bed and towels which was nice. She also cleaned the pool it was very dirty.
The wooden sunbeds on the patio were very uncomfortable with very thin lounger cushions, these need to be replaced and one of the loungers had broken slats.
Due to the areas that need attention we feel we could not recommend the villa to family and friends.

This is a lovely villa with all the facilities needed for a family stay. The walk into Costa Teguise was not too much (20) mins and there are X3 different beaches to choose from. Car is not a necessity as it's not too far from the airport.

Where do we start! The most stunning villa! I cried when I went in. Absolutely gorgeous! Spotless! So well equipped! Just Wow!!! We swam in the pool everyday, had bbq’s, had all our meals outside. As much as we love Costa teguise. We always hurried back to the villa. We have already booked for next year. You will love this beautiful villa!

Very good location in Costa Teguise, a short distance from restaurants, shops and beaches. I found I didn't need a car as it was easy to walk, hire a bicycle, or use a local taxi. If you are not hiring a car the easiest way to get from the airport is just to use the airport taxi rank rather than pre booking a transfer, the journey is only around 15 minutes. The villa itself is beautifully designed and decorated with a lovely pool, it was well equipped with everything we needed and was very clean. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay again.

relaxing getaway
We arrived to find a bottle of wine and some olives, which was a nice touch. Maritza was very friendly despite the language difficulties. We found 2 of the 3 bedrooms locked but Maritza opened one up for us when we asked. The pool area was fabulous, plenty of sunny areas and plenty of shade. The outdoor seating area was very elegant and comfortable. Our only complaint was that the pool was unheated and too cold to use.
The kitchen was very well stocked and we used the washing machine a couple of times. The internet connection was wired and quite reliable, we were able to use a streaming device successfully, wifi was intermittent.
The location was great, 2 or 3 good supermarkets were in the area and a reasonable selection of bars and restaurants too. We even found a gym within walking distance. We found a path that led to the coastal path and used that to get in and out of the town centre. The area was quiet and felt safe to walk around in. All in all, we loved it

Beautiful Villa
What a wonderful place to stay. Peaceful but easy walking to supermarkets, restaurants and bars. 15 mins from airport. The villa was spacious, bright and very comfortable. Pool was lovely but not heated so only got in once! We would definitely return or recommend to others. Had a great time! Really appreciated being able to check out later in the day as well.

Beautiful Home
My husband and I stayed for a week at this villa in October. The villa is beautiful with everything you need plus more. It was more like staying at a private home, with all the lovely furniture and pictures etc. Everything went smoothly from booking and throughout. The pool was too cold for us, but at this time of year that is to be expected. The wine and olives on arrival was a lovely touch and much appreciated. We loved the peaceful location of the villa and yet it was only a short walk to amenities. The perfect location. Thank you for a wonderful peaceful stay in your beautiful villa.

The villa is great to stay in. The rooms are comfortable, plenty of space for 3 adults and 3 kids.
About 25 min walk to Costa Teguise beach front/shops.

Perfect villa
The villa is beautiful with nice paintings scattered around the walls. Nice and spacious. The pool was a bit cold most days although the sun was shining on it, however this did not stop us from using it. The owner answered any questions we had very promptly and was helpful at all times, we visited during the Thomas Cook situation and our flight was changed however we were allowed to stay in the villa later than we should have. The location is good not far to walk anywhere. We will be back as we enjoyed our stay so much.

Even better than expected!
We had a lovely week in this amazing villa. The photos don't do it justice. Lots of areas to sit and chill and a great sun trap during the day so ideal for sunbathing. A quiet area with loads of privacy, the house is fully equipped and it is ideally located close to shops and restaurants. It really is a lovely accommodation with a homely feel. The art and decor is impressive. Thank you to the owners for sharing your property with us. We could not fault it. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful property. The villa is much more like a home than the usual rental with well chosen art and furniture etc. The patio and pool area is very nice.

Perfect Vila with everything you need
We have just returned home from a lovely holiday stay in villa Helechos.
The villa provided our family of 5 with all the home comforts needed. The outside living area was beautiful and well used.
The bedrooms were comfortable especially the large master.
It's obvious that the villa was once used as a permanent residence by all the beautiful personal touches.
Everything is within walking distance.
The main square in Costa Teguise is about a 20 min walk along the sea front where there are also lovely beaches.
Two small supermarkets are 5- 10 mins away.
There is a path at the bottom of the street which takes you to the main road.
Overall we had a wonderful 12 days relaxing at your beautiful villa Marife.
Thank you very much for making our first experience using Home and away a pleasurable one.

Beautiful
This stunning, spacious villa was perfect for us (me, my son, his wife and my grad-daughter). Maritza was very sweet and helpful although she didn't speak english, we managed to communicate. The pool was only cleaned once after we asked for it but my son took the project on and cleaned it himself every day. Only one pool light worked (eventually). Most of the lights in the master bedroom didn't work but weren't missed. Over all we loved the villa and its location, we highly recommend it.

Great stylish house
This house is not only a comfortable and charming place, it's stylish! We enjoyed living in it for a week due to the style of the decoration, the numerous wall decorations, particularly paintings, the plants and the high quality furnitures. The house is also very conveniently positioned to visit all the sites on Lanzarote island.

Lovely villa, a special retreat!
We spend one fabulous week in this beautiful and classy villa. There is everthing you need and the decent style of the interior is just gorgeous. Lots of things to do and see are just neraby (bike rental, beaches, shops).
On top the housekeeper is a firendly and helpfull person. Thankl you!
Overall a wonderful place to go a second time or even more, for sure!

Fantastic Villa Perfect
On first impressions: Wow! immaculate and well maintained. The layout, perfect. Upon arrival we were greeted with a complementary bottle of wine and olives. After the long flight it was well received. Very spacious inside the villa with ample room outside. Pool was used every day as was the BBQ. Would highly recommend to friends and relatives. The main centre is within walking distance approx 15 mins. 10 mins to the local beach. Looking forward to our next visit.
