Perfect place to enjoy some easy-going and peaceful days in the south of Tioman Island. Din and his team were super helpful and friendly and really made our short holiday here just as easy as possible for us (organizing Transport, providing all information required to explore the Island...)
Great spot to directly start the track up to the Dragon Horns!
Thumbs up and a big THANK YOU DIN!
The small bathrooms in one of our Bungalows need some maintenance to feel comfortable.

Great place to switch off and enjoy this piece of paradise. The village itself is small and unite secluded so you instantly feel like you have all of the beaches and the beauty of the island all to yourself. Everyone in the village is very welcoming and you feel right at home. The staff at Simurkuts place go the extra MIL to help you relax and enjoy your holiday, they will assist you from things like getting g your luggage to the jetty to helping you organise snorkeling and diving excursions. The huts themselves are simple and good value for money especially if you're a solo traveler, they are basic huts with a double bed and a bathroom, but the best thing about them is as you s step out you can see palm trees and the ocean and every night you fall asleep to. The sound of the waves. Incredible and memorable stay will come back for sure.
You have the ocean infront and jungle behind, so naturally you will encounter some creatures in and outside of your hut. Nothing more than a gecko or an ant or two inside. It's a great getaway.

Incredible location with extremely helpful staff. Den was always there to offer his assistance. The traditional village vibe was exactly what we were hoping for. Plenty of mangoes dropping from the trees and great local food prepared by a friendly family.

The beach shack was right on the beach - with a stunning view out to sea through a large leafy tree. The host, Din, could not do enough to help us and the food was delicious. Great swimming and walking options.
The sheets did not stay on the mattress.

Amazing beach chalet with plenty of things to do and live like locals where we felt that the clock was clicking slower than usual. Every seconds was a memorable one. The villagers are so welcoming and friendly. The food served at the restaurant was deliciously made and reasonably priced although they have limited source of supply due to their remote location. We ate a lot for our breakfast, lunch and dinner. We all slept very well during our stay.
My kids enjoyed the clean beach and crystal clear water just in front of our chalet. Kayaking and snorkelling were so nice since the coral reef in the area is pretty much alive. We also enjoyed the next beach (they called it a private beach) just few minutes walk to the west from the property where there was no else on the white sandy beach with a calm turquoise water under the bright sun.
There were many trees along the beach makes it a perfect natural sun shade for picnicking all day long since the whole area is facing south. Tioman is the perfect place to enjoy and appreciate the clear view of the night sky. We also noticed that the moon light and the stars are so very beautiful here because there is no light pollution.
For adventurers and hikers, the lush Malaysian rainforest behind the property has a lot to offer. Just keep your gear ready and get the necessary arrangement done by the host. You can hike up to the famous Dragon Horns peak for a wonderful view of the South China Sea. They also offer early morning hike for hikers who wanted to enjoy the magnificent view of the sun rise from above.
Asah waterfall is only a short hike away from the east side of the village and also become a popular spot for tourist. Many snorkelling trips operator in Tioman will include Asah waterfall inside their package.
We will definitely coming back to this place for sure. Thank you to Mr Din for being a nice host.

Our stay just next to the sea side of Kampung Mukut and at the hillside of Gunung Simukut. Surrounded by pure nature environment with sufficient facilities nearby. The sound of the waves just next to the chalet, a very relaxing and peaceful one. A big balcony where you can enjoy early morning sea breeze, sunrise and sunset. Crystal clear water with beautiful corals and fishes along the sea side of Kampung Mukut made us enjoy very much our snorkeling activities, Thank you very much to the very friendly staffs Mr. Din & Mr. Sam for their hospitality. Not to forget the lovely and tasty BBQ dinner.
Nothing to comment on this all is ok. Just a bit replacement on the broken timber strip outside bathroom area. A security concern for children.

I liked the absolute privacy and the surrounding nature. A short walk to the kedai runcit takes care of all you need, and the maji in the little warong at the jetty is a good cook. Alam Flora comes every morning and cleans the village.
All the little, wonderful beaches are littered with plastic-bottles and other rubbish; i tried to collect it, but it replenishes itself daily. The beaches are sandy, but the sea-ground is stony and corally, so when low-tide comes, you cannot go in to swim, I had to learn to float over the sharp stones and wait for high-tide.
