Beautiful building in great location

Nice setting in this former castle, in particular taking breakfast in the front courtyard. Very friendly staff. Great place to bike. Very convenient family room.
The parking is quite far, bed comfort is limited, but I would come back nonetheless

the common areas look much better than the rooms but they are now closed for renovation so cant wait to check out again!

Charming building and its surroundings, shared spaces, location close to the sea, very nice staff and super tasty breakfast.
We didn't expect much as we have experience in hostel standards, but this place was probably one of the worst places we've ever stayed in. And we're from Poland so we know many old and ugly places, trust me.
The room we stayed in was horrendous - it was under the stairs, so we've heard every heavy step that was taken there. Plus, it was close to the bar and reception - although there was an 11pm curfew, people were loud until 2am - so we didn't have a chance to sleep well which was the main reason to stay in your hostel.
The bathroom was another thing that creeped me out. Shower doesn't have proper curtains or anything that would stop the water from flooding the whole bathroom. Even though there is like a 10 second detector to save the water (good cause, terrible execution), toilet and whole floor were wet. They provided a mop, but it didn't even work properly, and towels are extra paid, so... Going to toilet few hours after taking a shower was simply disgusting because of the water on the floor. My partner said that if I don't want to take a shower today I'm excused and he won't be mad - and we were after 100km bike ride from Belgium in one of the hottest August days, so imagine how we craved shower and how bad it was here.
Not to mention that the photos in booking don't really do justice how the room looks in real life - it's just old and sad, especially in comparison to the shared spaces and the whole vibe of the castle.
And for this price? I know we're in Netherlands, but come on...

Many groups of teenagers during my stay.
Too noisy during the evening and night time.
The restaurant was too crowded during rush hours.

A great location to stay when visiting Domburg. It is good that as of September 2022this year new bicycles will arrive as the old ones are pretty at the end of their live.
It would be great if you could have a powersocket next to each bed to charge your mobile phone.

This is a lovely place in the middle of nature. You can hike anywhere thru the forest and along the beach. Breakfast is excellent. you can also have dinner, but u need to book for it in advance.
bad is not as comfortable. but acceptable for 1 night or 2.

the location of the castle. Proximity to the beach and nice forest. Family oriented. Friendly personnel. Nice decor.
The room was hard to heat, when it is around 5 degrees outside.

The place from outside is really pretty as well as the common areas. It is 5 minutes walking from the beach. And it is located in a cute forest.
The value for money is not worthy. The place is really expensive based on what they offer in the room. The room is not comfortable. The bunk beds are really small. For sleeping better we joined to bunk beds and we noticed the room in the corners and down the beds was not cleaned. As well the bathroom in the ceiling had spider webs and a big spider. Moreover, due to corona the guest has to be the one arranging the sheets; and at the end of the stay the guest has to be the one removing them and puting them on a pile. They don't give towels, hand soap, body soap, shampoo or conditioner, just one and a half toilet paper rolls. The shower doesn´t have any separation, so the bathroom becomes really messy. There aren't any facilities as a TV, a kettle, glasses, or simple dishes. Besides, the WiFi was really really bad, they have two wifinetworks and non of them worked properly.

Very charismatic, wonderful location at the park and duines. Family friendly unpretentious atmosphere.
The cheapish beds really do stress your back, no option for laundry, badly soundproofed, so you cannot enjoy the otherwise quiet location, too expensive for that youth hostel style accomodation
