Great place to stop with a dog a very warm welcome.

It was a lovely rural location with a big garden for the dog to run about in. The owner of the property was very helpful and friendly. Great Breakfast in the morning, a fridge where you could keep food and facilities for making a tea or coffee.

We found the room a little cold at night and the heating didn’t come on.

Mint runner

This is a very well run and well appointed facility. Clean, good size and the Host is just lovely. It was such a pleasure to get away from it all, whilst still being within striking distance of some excellent spots.

That we had to leave so soon.

Great spot in the hills

Fantastic location and the owner also owns the restaurant in town she is very friendly and happy to answer questions. My Spanish is non existent but my parter was able to understand. The garden is amazing if you want a walk around. The breakfast was great and set us up well for the day. There is also a communal kitchen area and washing machine that can be used. We went cycling each day its an ideal spot for getting into the all the main areas as the TDF was in town. Don’t always trust your routing software lots of roads that suddenly are no longer roads!

The rooms can be a little noisy if you get people with kids or who just like moving around and talking loudly till 1am. Some people just need to respect everyone else.

Amaya, the host was friendly and very helpful. Very comfortable beds. Beautiful gardens with many animals. Lovely for children. Quiet location. Great sleep! It has a communal kitchen where it is possible to prepare and store all your food.

Too little time at Ekoigoa

The casa rural was great, the accommodations were all excellent, the setting exemplified the benefits of living in the country, the garden, the orchard, the small farm animals. The casa had generous communal space in addition to the large bedroom and bath, there was a nice sitting room, terrace and back porch. Parking was easy. The closest large town, Zumaia was very nice, with restaurants, gas, marina, playa, and walking or biking trails. We spent 2 nights and think we should have planned to stay longer.

We had to drive to Zumaia to find supper one night.

Home from home. Owner very friendly. Plenty of room for dogs to exercise. Remember to put location details in your Sat-Nav, without we would of struggled. Enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful location. Extremely friendly hostess. The house is exceptionally clean. Great value for money and a very nice breakfast. .

The only critique is the bed was hard so anyone like me with hip issues will find the bed uncomfortable. A memory foam topper would help. Other than that, great place

Lovely gardens, relaxed atmosphere.

We had stayed here once before and wanted to return. It was just as good as we remembered. Friendly people, beautiful gardens, relaxed atmosphere. Good sized bedroom and bathroom. Good selection for breakfast. Easy parking outside. Dog friendly. Bar in village where you can get an evening meal. A beautiful area of Spain.

An excellent country side retreat with local cafes nearby and much more a short drive away.

Breakfast was incredible, it is optional but only a cost of €4.50 each. Mara, our host, upgraded us to a larger, easier accessible room as we had a dog with us which was so kind and worked out very helpful. Coffee facilities exceeded my expectations, proper coffee (eco friendly pods) for free. There was a fridge with drinks available to buy on site for a fair price, we had 2 beers for €6. Soft drinks also available. Huge, beautiful garden. Perfect for the dog. She made us feel very comfortable and she was very genuine and kind.

The entrance to the car park. Our car is low and the drop at the entrance of the car park meant the bottom of our car hit it on the way out, even though we went very slow there is no way to avoid it.

Beatufil traditional Vasque house in an amazing setting

Beautiful scenery for a traditional country house. Very nice facilities full of little local details. Amaia is an incredible host, she waited to welcome us, although we arrived very late at night.

A fantastic casa rural in the a great location to explore Zumaia and Getaria

The perfect base to explore this beautiful corner of the Basque Country. Lovely gardens, large clean rooms and friendly staff. The owner of this lovely casa rural had thought of absolutely everything, from a fridge to keep your next day's sandwich cool, to extra pillows and blankets should the weather turn chilly. Great place for people travelling with a dog as there are no restrictions on where they are allowed to be. For dinner there are tables on the veranda which you can eat at if you've brought your own food, or a restaurant owned by them just up the road which serves great local dishes.
