Die zentrale Lage, sehr gutes Frühstück, sehr ruhiges Zimmer. Beim Rennsteiglauf gabe es für die Läufer eine frühere Frühstückszeit.

Lovely hotel, room facilities great
Position of room, asked to change but couldn’t. Ground floor looking into tables so couldn’t open blinds as people could see in

Tolle zentrale Lage, alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen.

A clean well-equipped little apartment. We enjoyed the roof terrace with a table as a lovely space for dinner/breakfast.
4.1
The best aspects were :
1. The staff (everyone so genuinely kind, helpful and willing to chat). Some of the nicest hotel staff I have experienced. Because I really like people, this made a big difference to me. And although I speak broken German, they were able to help me out by speaking English. I especially appreciated that when I told them that I messed up and didn’t close the shower door exactly the right way and caused it to leak, and even made the carpet wet, even though I felt super embarrassed and kept apologising, they acted like it was no big deal. That’s what I call excellent customer service and hospitality.
2. The outstanding breakfast buffet with everything one could want, in a nice atmosphere. Holy smokes, one cannot go hungry. And the space is very large - no problem to get a table.
3. The awesome location. Super easy to find and a 11 minute, pleasant walk from the train station. Do not bother with the bus - buses seem very infrequent in Eisenach. And there is shade most of the way thanks to the buildings that line the streets.
4. Size of the rooms is great and the water pressure in the shower is excellent.
I encountered 2 issues :
1. During my mid-July stay, it was super hot (35deg C in the day). I had an uncomfortable, sweaty night with no air-con, fan or airflow in the room. There was a window, but it only opened a crack, and with the curtains closed, no air got in. And one must close the curtains because it looks out onto a carpark, with other buildings facing. I know air-con is not standard in Germany. But with climate change, heat waves are becoming more common. So perhaps the hotel might consider some cooling measures for summer. And, to be clear, I spent 9 yrs living in SE Asia, on the equator, so I am used to heat. But I never slept anywhere hot without at least a fan.
2. motion-sensing night lights under each bedside table. Strangely, If I rolled over in bed and my hand went over the side of the mattress, it would turn on. So, while I appreciate the safety aspect of this, it is overkill and when I would manage to fall into a fitful sweaty sleep, to be awakened if I moved my hand the wrong way, that was troublesome. I ended up pushing the chair up against the table to block it in the middle of the night and that fixed the problem.
In short, these two downsides are fixable. And the hotel has lots of positives going for it. So, I would stay here again, but maybe not in mid July.

Relatively close to the motorway, which is convenient when traveling across the country. The room was spacious and the breakfast was good.
We expected that the electric car charger will be waiting for us. We also quite clearly communicated our arrival close to midnight. Unfortunately, the reception was only open until 22:00 so the parking spaces with the electric car charging facility were also not available to us when we arrived at the hotel. We could only charge from 06:00 the next day. A better communication/set expectations from the hotel side would have been appreciated.

Great Breakfast congenial staff. Close to Theatre
Not all staff spoke English. Can not really complain as we have little German ! No facilities after 10 PM

The hotel is in the central area.(2 minutes walk to the main square) and it is 10 minutes away from the main train station.
the room was clean and the furniture was in good shape.
It was the perfect location for a 3 days trip to see Wartburg and the surroundings
-the hangers for the towels are not practical for big towels .

Very central but quiet, spotlessly clean, spacious rooms, coffee machine, rich breakfast, restaurant in the hotel, very professional and friendly staff (reception/restaurant/bar). Hotel-owned parking place for guests (10Eur/day) is a big plus because there are no other parking options in the nearest neighborhood. Walking distance to Wartburg.
Fitting carpets in the room (allergy). Would be also handy to have a stool or a rack to hang on clothing in the bathroom. It's a pity there is no disposable bath amenities (little tube of toothpaste/bathcap, etc.) which is used to be standard for 4*, however it might be a part of environmental policy of the hotel.
4.1
Central location, but outside of the one way system made it easy to drive in & out for work
no house cleaning during the week, the coffee in the room was not enough.
my particular room was on the street side
