close to train station. very helpful staff. excellent breakfast. prior to arrival, I advised hotel that I was coming directly from USA on overnight flight. Staff arranged an early checkin so I could sleep before my evening opera.

Ideal for an overnight stay.

1. The people at the front desk were very helpful and welcoming. 2. The room was clean and the free Wi-Fi was working as expected. 3. Very close proximity to the train station (2-3 minutes walking) and close to the city center.

1. The bed could be a bit more comfortable and have an extra blanket.

Comfortable stay with a good breakfast.

Location, as I travelled by train. The hotel is 50 metres from the station, but there is no train noise in the hotel

Good value decent hotel in a convenient location

Very close to the Hauptbahnhof and a 10 minute walk into the centre of town. It was very clean and comfortable. Friendky staff.

Passable option for a short stop-over considering stated disadvantages

Price is nice but sometimes better to pay more for more basic comfort. Location assessment depends on what you expect. If you need close proximity to train station then location is great - just 3 minutes walk. If you want to be closer to downtown better seek other options. This hotel is 25 minutes walk from downtown. Breakfast is OK and cheap. Staff tried to be helpful... First they checked me in the worst room in the entire hotel - 1st floor with windows facing to the street. I could hardly sleep that night due to heat and noise. For next night they moved me to another more spacious room at the 3rd floor where I could not at least hear the street noise and the inner facilities were better.

Old worn out facilities. Looks rather like a student campus. No airconditioning or fan in the rooms. When it is hot outside - like when I stayed in - it is a real issue. If you want to keep the window open at night then be prepared to hear well street noise until at least midnight and early in the morning. No noise isolation between the rooms. You clearly hear pretty much everything in the neighboring rooms - door slamming, chair moving etc. If you are a light sleeper then better seek other options. Then, in the room description on booking.com there was minibar in. Apparently it wasn`t. When I asked for it I was brought a small empty fridge hardly cooling due to heat outside. So they believe a minibar is just an empty small fridge.

A decent hotel with friendly atmosphere.

The location is near the Railway station and close to City center which was very convenient for me. The peoples from the hotel were very friendly and efficient.

The way how breakfast was served could be improved. The plastic foil could be removed before delivery

Great location and clean.

We always stay here, whenever we are in Giessen. Room is clean, not big but it has enough space though. Location is literally 3 minutes walk from the train station, 10-15 mins to to city center. Just across the hotel, you can find nice imbiss. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Quiet nice hotel in good location in Gießen. Breakfast is great and staff is friendly. Will stay there again.
