Gemütliches Familienhotel an guter Lage

Schönes, modernes Zimmer mit tollem Blick. Gutes Essen im Hotel eigenen Restaurant mit freundlicher Bedienung. Hilfreiche Tipps für Ausflüge und Touren in der unmittelbaren und weiteren Umgebung. Sehr freundliches Personal und gemütliches Ambiente im Hotel. Sehr gute Lage zwischen Füssen und den Schlössern.

Die Matratzen sind eher auf der harten Seite.

Alles hat gepasst. Gerne wieder.

Abendessen, wir hatten Fisch, was sehr lecker. Und das Frühstück mit Produkten der Region, hausgemachte Marmelade, Honig vom Imker, Müsli zum Selbermischen und verschiedene Saaten, Leinsamen, Sonnenblumenkerne, Chiasamen,.. Super lecker.

Very clean hotel with friendly staff

We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The hotel is very convenient to the castle, if you are planning to visit. Parking was easy, and they had bike rentals which were very fun. Breakfast was really good - enough options for everyone in our family. We ate in the restaurant for dinner, and really enjoyed our meal. We would stay again at this hotel

Value for money

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were a good size, ours had a lovely view of one of the castles, and it was nice and peaceful. There was plenty of choice at breakfast.

The hotel is a bit away from the town and castle attractions and while there is a free bus, it stops at 8pm.

Perfect place and position to visit Castles and town

Perfect position, not far from Castles and from Fussen (even by foot) . Very polite staff: they let me keep the motorbike inside a box and one morning they let us have breakfast before opening. Room with a very beautiful view and comfortable.

Our room was close to a common WC and we could hear every kind of noise made by other customers using that bath during night.

We loved our stay at Hotel Waldmann, thank you!

Friendly family hotel. Comfortable rooms, helpful staff and free car park. In pleasant walking distance of the lakes and castles (around 25 minutes) so you don't have to use a car. There are also local buses.

If possible, it would be nice to have a little more choice of dishes on the dinner menu, and the availability of tap water in the restaurant, not just bottled water. Bedroom toilet window needs frosted/obscure glass for privacy.

Excellent travel accessibility of the hotel, breakfast, nice staff.

1. Given my travel experience, it wasn't hard for me to figure out how to get into an unlit hotel by entering the code at the back entrance. But my doubt is: anyone could read the code in any time, and then get the key. So I was little scared, and then happy no danger was waiting for me when I entered the hotel/room. 2. Upon arrival, the heating was turned off in the room and even in the bathroom. It would be nice to leave the room at least at low temperature controlled before the arrival of the guest. 3. WiFi is slow there.

Superb overnight stay; lovely room (no 10) with a view; great staff and location nearby the castles. Highly recommend.

The location of the property;the welcome from the staff; our room was top quality and well appointed with balcony overlooking the two castles in the mountains facing the hotel. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices available. Parking was plentiful and Schwangau and Fussen were within an easy 5/10 minute drive. Overall a superb overnight stay, to be highly recommended.

Nothing we didn’t like. Certainly not a complaint, but we would have preferred to have had an evening meal at the hotel rather than have to drive into Fussen.

An amazing stay in a beautiful hotel located perfectly when visiting Neuschwanstein castle.

The view from the room window was amazing, you could see the Neuschwanstein Castle. The location is perfect when visiting the castles. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
