We booked the hotel for its location and that was awesome.

Location to beach. They also had their own private beach area.

- Private beach means anyone can access it via lake, so there is no privacy or safety - Free parking is only for few cars, they let you park on the street or ask you to pay extra for parking behind the hotel - Dinner is included (cost 20e/person), but they force you to pay extra for water, even if they claim tap water is free, they won't offer it to you at all - They charge you extra for "Service fee food", even tho food is served as buffet and you take food by yourself - Waiters don't speak English and we couldn't order on bar, noone helped to translate. - Also not enough plates for food. We waited about 20minutes until they brought new clean plates.

I will never come back in this hotel.

Nothing.

Old rooms. Great noise from light in bathrooms. No free water in my room. No tooth brush, I only bought it at reception . Check in was more than 10 minutes, very slow work of personal. Breakfast is medium with terrible coffee.

Very good option to stay in Siofok

Excellent breakfast and dinner- great choice of tasty food. Nice and friendly staff. Relatively big and well equipped spa and pool part. Location very close to Balaton. Free parking. I got my birthday cake from hotel as surpise :-)!

Very small TV set in the room. Only one TV channel in English. It was too warm in our room without possibility to cool it down (maybe besides keeping window day and night open).

This hotel was a nice surprise, definitely we will chose it again

The room was spacious and comfortable. Good and tasty options for breakfast and dinner. Staff was very helpful and nice. The spa area is nice. Very close to the lake.

We just love this place!

This was our second time at the Residence. We again booked connecting rooms where we could comfortably stay with our small kids. The hotel has everything our kids love, an indoor playroom, a room for table tennis, a normal pool and a kids pool, good food. My husband and I love using the saunas, the cold pool and the outdoor jacuzzi. We ordered lunch at the pool a few times, which was nice. We also both went for a massage. We just love our stay here and are already looking forward to coming back. The rooms are cleaned every day by housekeeping. We enjoy the buffet at dinner and breakfast.

The beds are a bit hard for my liking and the duvets are too short. Also the rooms are very warm. It’s actually warm everywhere in the hotel, which can be very comfortable, I just wish the rooms weren’t.

Great hotel, we will definitely stay again

The food is delicious and the whole place is generally well kept. This was our second time and we plan on coming back.

The new management is apparently trying to save some money. Some nice little details have disappeared, but the staff is compensating it easily.

Overall a great experience, great food served for breakfast and dinner. We had a great time there.

During winter the spa is crowded and a little small, but the lake is very close so it won't be a problem in the summer season.

Tasty breakfast and dinner, nice spa, clean room, helpful staffs - everything was great. Special thanks to Norman, he kindly helped me with arranging a birthday cake. We had a great time in this hotel and will visit here again.

Good but could be much better

Staff was very friendly and accommodating; room deco is fun , bright and modern-ish; building is esthetically pleasing, breakfast / dinner were plenty-full and flavorful; free parking on site; choice of saunas were great and not packed in October. Decent location but not on water.

The rooms were on crazy high temps in Oct making them unbearable which meant all doors were open , rooms are lovely but tired, bathrooms are old and need work, the wellness was a mess (cold waters inside , water temp not as advertised inside or out), having to find a member of staff to switch on jacuzzi in pools , freezing inside as all windows and doors are open to create cross breeze yet no heating was on contrary to the rooms (outside temp 65f) ; there is only 1 masseuse/ hotel (when said masseuse is off a temp comes in who can do 60% of the services and on minted schedule only), wellness hours of operation changed 3x in our 2 night stay!

Parking places are poor. Was advised that the hotel has a parking place, but nobody was willing to give me the next hint - eg if it is free or has to be paid, places available or full etc.

the people at the reception and the hotel manager are very nice and try to find ways to help you out with your problems

- it's a rather 3 star hotel, not 4 - the staff at the restaurant/bar - cleaning leaves a lot to be deserved - the food(both breakfast and dinner) are 1 maybe 2 stars: loads of unhealthy dishes, one can see that they take many shortcuts in preparing the food. We hardly found 1 dish in their buffet that we could actually eat...and that was because we were hungry - uncomfortable beds and pillows - after all of the above, obviously it's bad value for your money

Hotel is super child friendly. We came with our 7 month dayghter and I was shocked how convenient a vacation with baby can be.
