Boa estadia

Localização central. Boa casa de banho e cama. Não se ouvia barulho nenhum, dormimos muito bem. Tinha frigorífico no quarto e ar condicionado.

Podia haver penduradores no quarto e os rodapés não estavam muito limpos. Tivemos também alguma dificuldade em abrir o quarto (o sistema de cartão não funcionava muito bem, mas pode ter sido um problema só do nosso quarto).

Needs to make sure all room facilities as advertised works!

The Receptionist who checked me in. She was very helpful and eager to point out the most interesting places to visit. The hotel having a lift was a plus as well.

AC in the room does not work properly. It works but the air is not cool, even if it was already at less than 15, then 10 and finally at 0. Nothing seems to make the air cool. Tried many temps the whole night. The air coolness (or lack of didn’t change at all)! I was on the 6th floor with a skylit window and the sun beating down on it the whole day made the room really warm. I had to slightly open the skylit window at 1am to just let some cool air in and be able to sleep even just a few hours before another long walk on the Camino the next day!

Everything was wonderful. Perfectly located close to the train station. Great restaurants and parks all within easy walking distance. Meticulously clean rooms, comfortable beds,great shower and very quiet. Any local questions are easily addressed by the fantastic manager at the front desk! Enjoy!!

One of the best hotels we stayed at

We could check-in a little early which we really appreciated. The bed was very comfy and the room extremely quiet, we never heard anything from the hallways or outside. Breakfast was lovely, with fresh coffee and orange juice and we loved the toasted bread. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Good location and bad experience

Very good location, near city center and train/bus station. Communication with the hotel and reception employees was always quick and effective.

Arriving at the hotel, our room wasn't prepared, we've been given a new one at a lower (and noiser) floor. After the first night we left a shower towel on the floor, they retired it and didn't replace with a clean one.

The staff is super helpful and they have a 24 hour front desk. The location is great.

The rooms are a bit tired. They don't use fitted sheets for the mattress, so as you move when you sleep, it all comes loose.

Exceptional

The staff at this hotel are extraordinarily kind and helpful! They will go out of their way to make sure your stay with them meets all your expectations. The room I had was larger than I have had elsewhere, with a little nook with a desk which was perfect to write my blog. Another luxury: a bathtub! The windows are very large, with a Juliette-type balcony, giving off the main road. All in all, it was a really lovely stay!

The receptionist said that it was €5 for breakfast. Had breakfast which was 1 slice of toast,1 crossiant coffee and orange juice and then charged me €6.50 for breakfast. Poor

Hotel Ogalia a gem of a hotel in Vigo, Spain

The Hotel Ogalia is a gem in Vigo. I first came here in 2016, and whenever I'm in Vigo I stay at this hotel. I can't say that about any other hotel anywhere. When you walk through the door the lobby is full of natural light due to the large windows. The staff at reception, and the Gent at the cafeteria are some of the nicest people I've met in any Hotel. They are friendly, and knowledgeable, and help with advice or suggestions that will make your stay in the city well worth it. The people in housekeeper keep the place spotlessly clean, and make it a pleasure to enter your room. The beds are nice and and comfy, and great to sleep on. The rooms are well lit, and if you come once to the Ogalia, you'll be back for sure.

You get what is announced which I consider very fair. The information at booking ties completely to the reality. Personal is very nice and helpful.

Very short interval for light in the bathroom. You had to keep moving all the time.
