Ok but what can you expect for €5 / person.
Location for breakfast was good. Coffee machine didn't work so we had to gi a find someone to help..........the spill tray was full so nobody could have been checking on a regular basis.

The room and the restaurant food
The breakfast was very limited, only coffee available, not good value even though it was only 5 euros, spoilt the stay

Immaculately clean, incredibly friendly and helpful staff and a unique experience.
There was very little around the location, but it’s around a 25 minute taxi ride into Dortmund.

GOOD MOOD!

A quirky stop-over that I really enjoyed. The food, room, and service were excellent.
My only moan was hairballs in the bedding when I opened it up. To be fair, a minor irritation for me. Just worth a mention and a great shame.

The theme of the room is really well done.
The location, while obviously a bit noisy from the road (lot's of trucks pass by), is nicely placed next to a monument hill and only a small drive away from Dortmund center.
The outside door and rooms have keypads rather than physical keys.
Was able to store my bicycle inside!
Breakfast area was right next to the rooms, which didn't block sound that well, so it was quite noisy.
No wall plug right next to the bed.

The vibe
If you sleep in the upper bed of the bunk it will smell. Maybe because above you is a toilet of another room.

I liked the atmosphere. Very nostalgic.
The TV had a broken cable and I was unable to watch news or entertainment while I was in the room. I liked how it was set up like a jail. The shower door leaked heavily and I had to use a lot of towels so I would not flood the room when taking a shower. Aside from the two minor issues it was a great place to stay and I will return and recommend it to my friends...

If you are travelling by car, this place is perfect, if not I can imagine that it can be difficult to get to.
The unique themes of the motel rooms are fun.
You get a private bathroom, which felt like very good value for us.
Breakfast is 5 € and doesn't look that exciting, especially for an all you can eat restaurant. That restaurant however seems nice.

Cool design of Jim Bean room.
Great restaurant.
No breakfast at all - the breakfast room has coffee machine “out of order” and that’s all.
Parking in the evening full of cars from the restaurant, hard to find parking.
Bad sound isolated - could hear all the sounds from the other rooms.
Small and unbalanced room: very much angles, no place to sit and rest, little sockets and no one near the bed, the toilet is isolated from the room with saloon door and it’s awkward when you are not traveling alone.
Bath across the bed is funny when you look on photos, but it’s really hard to use it - all other room would be in the water, as there is no curtain.
One small window with the view on the roof of the restaurant.

Very oryginal rooms design
I know there is covid time but breakfast was very bad - nutella, toast bread, pate and coffee. I understand the covid time but you should inform the guests what they pay for. I expected breakfast which you have in menu.

The room decor was great and the bed was very comfortable! Also staff was very friendly and helpful. We also liked the restaurant, great food and atmosphere.
Room was way too warm so we had to have a window open for the whole night but the noise of cars from the road was very disturbing, we found it extremely difficult to fall asleep.
8.8
Very stylish room, it was memorable!
7.9
The resturant, the open Buffett, the bar, the design, the location and the design.
The water bed, the toilett in the room has no door
