Something Special

Exceptional hospitality, scrumptious breakfast, classic table settings, lovely room/ suite with the most comfortable beds and a refreshing power shower. Martina's professional and friendly manner further enhanced our stay. Will definitely return.

The Jewel of Lisdoonvarna

Wonderful stay in Sheedy's Hotel. Martina and the staff were very attentive, helpful and welcoming. The ambience and facilities are outstanding. The location couldn't be any better. The beds are amazing comfortable and the power shower is so invigorating. Can't wait to return. Thank you again Martina for ensuring our stay was a happy one.

Lovely little hotel on the edge of Lisdoonvarna, great location/parking for the burren, coast, Doolin, Cliffs of Mother. Martina was very welcoming and informative. Quiet spacious rooms with views of the lush green surroundings. A good few options for a very tasty breakfast including Bailey's in your porridge, it was yum! A relaxing and comfortable stay. Would happily return again, Christina and Neil

Always a treat to stay with Mrs. Sheedy!

Mrs. Sheedy provides exceptional hospitality, and her husband John is a fantastic chef. Fantastic service and exquisite hospitality.

Would definitely recommend a stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay in Sheedy's. The room was large and comfortable and we got a great welcome when we arrived. There was a great choice for breakfast and the food at both breakfast and dinner was top class. The hotel is in a great location for touring Clare and we would highly recommend it.

Fabulous

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, and the food was just fantastic. Such a lovely warm atmosphere, really felt at home. Martina was just the nicest person, you can tell they really love what they do. Will look forward to staying here again. Thanks so much ☺️

Hidden gem of a place

Authentic family run hotel, Martina & John are great hosts. Very comfortable beds, big spotlessly clean room Fantastic dinner & lovely wholesome breakfast using fresh local ingredients. Looking forward to coming back!

Amazing food and old Irish charm

Loved the food, like a luxury Michelin star style experience. The bar and seating areas are like stepping back in time to old world Ireland

We had a beautiful stay at Sheedy’s Country House Hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. In these very uncertain times, we felt very safe staying here. The breakfast was delicious and a wide range to choose from. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

Luxurious Countryside Hotel

We had a great experience staying at the hotel. The room was spacious and clean and the hotel had a beautiful countryside style throughout. The owner was very friendly, made us feel welcome and put in a lot of effort to make our stay outstanding. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotels restaurant and the food was both times exceptional. Also it is located near the Wild Atlantic Way which was ideal for us exploring the beautiful west coast and escaping the city life for a few days!

Everything was great! Please keep doing what you are doing, we will be back for sure!
