Zeer mooi gelegen. Super rustig. Ongelofelijk vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Mooi ingerichte kamers met veel licht ruimte en prachtige zicht op de baai. Goed gelegen op 10 min wandelen van dorpje Parikia

Beautiful stay, can’t fault it

- fantastic balcony view - beautiful big pool with bar - comfy room - good shower - very friendly and helpful staff - great location (10 min walk to main beach front dining options) but is a very steep hike to hotel from the ferry (recommend a transfer or pick up a hire car if you don’t like walking as taxis were impossible to get) - ATV hire is a good idea to explore the entire island

- the transfer to the ferry port is 20 euro and is only a 5 min walk, a complementary or cheaper option would be nice for guests

I really liked the interior of the hotel, however the outdoor area soa

I loved the exterior of the building it was all freshly painted and pretty. The bedrooms were modern and nicely decorated. The shower was also lovely.

I was disappointed with the pool area unfortunately. The pool needs re surfacing throughout and the surrounding area needs some TLC as there was some flooding from the grass around the sunbeds. I would also recommend some more sunbeds around the pool as some guests were without. It would also be nice to see alternative vegan milk at breakfast.

Nice place to stay!

A big big plus of this hotel: the view! All rooms are front-up towards the sea. That is amazing of course. You wake up in the morning and you have this nice set-up. The hotel itself got renovated from an older building and is now really a nice place to go. The price-benefit ratio works perfect for what you get. All areas are maintained nicely, the rooms are clean, the beds are cozy and comfortable. The Wi-Fi is working well and the air-condition is quiet. The spacious shower is really nice. You also have enough space for your amenities. The breakfast: really great! For such a small hotel it is huge and really nicely presented. Nothing really to complain about except the awful coffee. We recommend this place for sure.

You have to pay extra for the coffee from the bar. That should be changed since nowadays you are used to get a good coffee quality all over the world at breakfast for free, but not this instant-coffee from the 70s-tourism time. These machines are awful. Another minor issue might be the lack of sound-proofed rooms. Since there are still the old doors in place, you cannot be sure not to hear the other guest arriving and moving up and down in the rooms. Since I take ear-plugs at night time for me it was okay, but keep that in mind.

Goregous small hotel with great views & lovely staff

Fabulous pool & amazing staff. Rooms were modern and very comfortable.

Quite noisey in the mornings due to the design of the property & lots of light in the rooms. Would benefit from decent curtains

Excellent staff, location and pool!

Very friendly hotel staff, great location and amazing pool!

Only small thing would be a suggestion to cut the grass around the pool area - it would elevate the look of the grounds. But this is a small criticism in an otherwise wonderful stay at this hotel.

we only stayed one night here but it was very enjoyable

we had a great pool/sea view, the room we had was the basic one but it had everything we needed and was nice and clean. good location within walking distance into the main areas of Parikia and beaches.

Pleasant

The views, large pool and, overall minimalistic and pleasant design make it a nice place to stay in.

Although it looks like it is newly renovated it is all already crumbling. The walls cracking, doors slamming, air conditioning failing, poolside beads with screws falling out. What could be a nice 15min walk to the town is actually an adventure on the busy road with only fhe hints of pavement.

The staff was very nice and really try to help. They made reservations and helped with taxis

I thought the hotel was rundown, room was dirty they never gave us towels, The pool area needed to be groomed better. Grass was overgrown and and not manicured. It was hard to get around. And the taxi that they arranged overcharged me.

Lefteris at the reception was friendly and polite. Nice big balcony with great view, nice exterior breakfast area, parking with shade for cars. Nice swimming pool and garden. Breakfast was good, it needs improvements in presentation

Cleaning of the rooms must be improved. The room was not cleaned properly both days only towels were replaced and the room and veranda were not swept at all. Οn the balcony there are cobwebs on the base of the ceiling pillars, which shows the lack of sweeping for days. The maids have the clean towels and sheets in bags thrown in the corridor, not very nice to witness this. In general we felt that with better maintenance and care for the product the experience would be much better. Staff was polite but baddly dressed.

Stylish and comfortable stay in Parikia. Highly recommend!

We stayed at High Mill in June as a couple and would definitely recommend it. Mannos and the team were very friendly and helpful, including booking a quad for us to explore the island. Rooms were stylish and comfortable. We even got a free upgrade to a beautiful room with large terrace overlooking the sea. The pool is a real highlight! You are a little way out of town (10 min walk) but for that you get so much more for your money. The first part of the walk into town was along a busier road, but we didn’t find that too bad. Parikia itself is absolutely stunning! So many waterfront restaurants, pretty backstreets and shops to be explored. We personally preferred it to our stay in Naoussa because we found it to be more authentic and laid back. We’d recommend doing a boat trip around Antiparos island which depart from the harbour in Parikia. Palm beach is also a must!

With the exception of breakfast, the restaurant and bar are ‘closed until April 2023’. This is only mentioned under the Important Information section of the property listing so is hard to find. We’d suggest removing the mention of restaurant for lunches and dinners from the Property Description section for now, as it is misleading to customers. On the plus side, the team would be happy to make the odd Aperol Spritz or bring beers down to the pool, however stock was low. Another minor complaint would be that the option for eggs and omelettes at breakfast was not on any signs and the staff never offered it. We only found out on the last morning of our stay when we saw another guest order.

Sophisticated and classic - love the black and White!

The hotel was excellent in all things. The staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome and cared for. Theodore was beyond helpful and gracious. He booked me a car and made arrangements for the winery! This was a most please thank surprise with a great yard, terrace and pool! My only regret is I didn’t stay longer. Breakfast was also most pleasing and service was wonderful. Díane

The room had a sink right next to the bed - something that we missed in the photos. The safes doesn’t work in none of the hotel rooms. The checkout process felt inefficient and redundant.
