The property felt really welcoming and clean. It was such a beautiful and soothing place to spend some quality time in Essouira. Perfectly located in the heart of the city (in the Medina) it was easy to walk around everywhere. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Everyone was nice and really caring. They almost made us feel part of a family for the time of our stay.
Nothing. It was perfect.

Merci beaucoup

Staff members were lovely - Fatiha especially
Breakfast was lovely
Architecture and rooms awesome
Nobody let us in for our first night (granted it was 3am but the night guard was asleep apparently). Didn't get a refund for this night.

Bed and linen was comfortable. Nice view from upper roof terrace. room colour scheme good. It's functional and OK but.....
Alleyway to property stinks of cat urine. Lacks warmth and a soul. No welcoming tea, advice re wifi or where located on map. Just ushered up stairs to room. Had to carry luggage up staircase. Photos on booking.com not a true relection. Not a true traditional riad. Room very small with hardly enough room to put luggage. Every voice, door opening/closing and steps could be heard everywhere. Lower roof terrace had the daily laundry spread out drying over chairs and table. Breakfast was very ordinary. We left after one night although we had paid for three. Much better options elsewhere.

Enjoyed the breakfast. And the fires going in the hearth! Staff friendly and helpful…best part fir me was riding horseback on the beach/dunes etc.
Club next door played super loud music at night.

Having stayed at this excellent Riad on previous holidays to Essaouira, we wouldn’t wish to look for anywhere else.
The location is perfect; and the views from the comfortable roof-top area overlooking the city, the open sea, the beach and the port are a really relaxing bonus.
Everywhere is kept very clean. Breakfasts are tasty, and the staff helpful, friendly and efficient.
There was nothing to dislike. Everything for us is perfect.
2.5
The staff are friendly and the content if the breakfast generous.
Water pressure is good
The place need some maintenance done to it. A bit a painting and some new furniture would held.
Some of the items needs to either be changed or cleaned thoroughly.
There is bar or music playing business next door and it goes late in the night. My wife and I barely slept on that one night we stayed there.
The Agadir room is very claustrophobic, I had a headache just by going inside. We stayed one night (we had booked for two) and checked out and moved to somewhere else.
After the first night we went for breakfast and the staff serving the food had cut herself. She seems unaware of it and had some blood on her cheek.
When asked her to put a plaster. She just wiped a face. later she came again and still no plaster to her finger this is not correct.

Awesome location in the heart of Essaouira - incredibly handy for the central square, the beach and the docks. Opted for the suite room - it was big and included a nice seating area. The Riad offers a traditional experience of a Riad design with most rooms looking into the courtyard. Provided with a welcome mint tea and Moroccan biscuits. Staff were always welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was good although less varied than other more expensive Riads we visited. Rooftop view is amazing of the sea and the docks, including the Borj El Barmil.
The traditional old Riad has its quirks and is just a bit old and tired. Sunbeds a bit tatty, the kettle didn’t work in the room (although immediately replaced on request) and the bathroom shower dripped and splashed cold water. The bathroom felt a bit damp. The location is excellent but the short tunnel alleyway to the front door was a bit smelly. The overall experience makes up for the minor flaws.

Very clean and airy, bedrooms are spacious and the breakfast served on the rooftop terrace overlooking the sea was a plus
noise coming from the neighbouring bar until late in the evening
4.5
perfect location next to the sea
roof terrace with breathtaking view
lovely breakfast
staff was kind and helpful
radiators in the room for heating (very important during cold nights)
loud at night because of the discoteque/bar in the neighbourhood
room was quite dark

The riad and its position. Helpful staff and wonderful views. Authentic interesting rooms
The breakfast could have been a little better. Perhaps a form of egg offered and softer bread/cakes
The apron/dress worn by the waitress could have been newer and cleaner
