I spent 7 wonderful nights at Tufi Resort in June 2024 and am so glad I went. Tufi village is such a peaceful and happy place with very friendly people. I loved seeing the day to day life of the villagers and experiencing a little of their beautiful culture.
Staff at the resort and those working on the dive boats were all fun, friendly and very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was great and kitchen staff were happy to provide a range of delicious options to meet my dietary preferences. Food wise, the only small thing I would do differently if I was going again would be to order wholegrain bread ahead of time as only white bread was available. My bungalow was very clean and comfortable with great views from the balcony.
Managers, Luth and Anne are very approachable and overall everything was well organised yet flexible enough to fit my individual requests. There were plenty of interesting activities to choose from even though I was not a scuba diver. I went on a waterfall tour, visit to the butterfly farm, snorkeling at Keiko’s Corner which was amazing, Beach BBQ, Cultural Tour and more. During the booking process, I dealt with Jordan who was always very responsive and super helpful in answering my many questions prior to my visit. Tufi Resort website was also full of lots of good information and tips. If there weren’t so many other places to explore in the world I would go back to Tufi in a flash.
I enjoyed every minute so there was nothing I didn't like really.

Tufi did not disappoint, the divers in our family had a fantastic time and the experience overall was relaxing and enjoyable. The staff were all exceptional, from the top down.
The deluxe bungalow will benefit from a refresh. It is our understanding that this is planned.

Tufi is absolutely a beautiful place to have a holiday. Staying here brings you great peace of mind cuz the friendly staff make everything in order routinely even there are not too many guests. The management team, Jana and Thomas, arranged variable activities to enrich your spare time. Jana was not only a good manager, but also my diving guide when I did scuba diving there. You also have enough spare time to stay alone or with your mates and no rush on offered activities. The beach is amazing snorkelling is interesting and everything in Tufi is like its name paradise.

The team looked after us well. Very nice meals and the beach BBQ was exceptional. Rufus the hornbill was a hoot.

Considering you are in PNG and very remote the resort was good. The dive employees were wonderful as was the diving. The room was very comfortable. When you consider how remote this location is they did a wonderful job - but the additional surprise costs when you check out was a major negative.
Be prepared for additional costs when you check out. You think you have paid in advance but once you check out they spring new costs on top of your original agreed amount. They refused to remove the additional cost even when they agreed that the costs were hidden and never discussed up front. They also offer to let you see the butterfly farm but fail to tell you there is a $50 price tag until you check out. When I asked for the rates for any activities they offered they could not provide me a rate sheet. All in all the hidden costs are a very bad way to run a business.

It is hard to fault anything.
