Os quartos, a piscina com vista para a praia. Os funcionários muito simpáticos, o ambiente acolhedor e familiar.
A comida do restaurante é simplesmente maravilhosa.
A praia na baixa mare tem muito coral partido e pedras, e não se consegue ir ao banho. É uma pena.
A praia tem muito lixo de plástico, que o alojamento devia limpar. Nao é agradável.

Beautiful quiet location. Super shallow beach perfect for chilling and watching the sunset.
Passive/aggressive attitude from reception. Power cut on the last night meant rooms didn't have electricity. They used emergency electricity for the bar, so the staff were comfortable while all the guests were upset. Rude side eye from reception when I requested complementary water, they wanted me to pay. Kept saying sorry for the inconvenience but offered nothing. Because of the power cut we were forced to sit outside of the room (it was oppressively hot) and was bitten loads by mosquitos. Ant problem in the room and a centepede in the bed. Location means you must rent a bike and you can only really rent from them.

A Peaceful Paradise with Amazing Sunsets"
It had been more than 20 years since my last visit to Koh Samui, and boy, things have really changed, especially in places like Chaweng, Lamai, and Bo Put. Looking for a break from the hustle and bustle, I stumbled upon Am Samui Resort in Taling Ngam, and what a find it turned out to be!
Am Samui Resort is tucked away perfectly on a beautiful private beach, right on the island's west side where you can catch stunning sunsets. If you're tired of the busy towns, this place is a peaceful sanctuary.
The rooms at the resort are spacious, modern, and super comfy – a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The small pool is a gem, but the real winner is the private beach with its soft white sand and crystal-clear waters, just begging for long swims and strolls.
Taling Ngam is mostly a local hangout, without all the loud bars and parties found elsewhere. It's the spot for authentic Thai cuisine at local prices, not the inflated tourist rates. Am Samui Resort welcomes everyone, whether you're traveling solo, with a romantic partner, as a digital nomad, or with your family. Despite its popularity, the resort doesn't get overcrowded, even during peak times.
While the resort has dining options, I'd recommend venturing out to try the local food. Grabbing a scooter, which you can rent at the resort, is a smart move for discovering hidden culinary treasures in the area.
Conclusion:
In a nutshell, my stay at Am Samui Resort in Taling Ngam surpassed my expectations. If you're in search of a peaceful and picturesque escape, away from the crowds, this is your spot. I was so blown away that I've already locked in my next visit. Don't pass up on this little piece of paradise!
There is room for improvement in the breakfast options. Having stronger Wi-Fi in the rooms would be appreciated. An easy fix with Wifi extension.

We loved the location. It was quiet at night, but you do need a scooter to get around the island. The sound of the waves at night was like a lullaby!
Quite remote, but that was part of the reason we booked this. The bed was pretty hard and you could feel the boards underneath. However, that was a small price to pay for an incredible beach view!

Loved how chilled out and remote this was. Lovely pool, super quiet unspoiled beach, lovely very friendly staff, comfortable beach villa!
Breakfast could be a little better but still good quality. I was offered a menu that was swiftly replaced by a lesser menu. But can’t complain - was super good value

The sunsets here are stunning. The property is based on and around the beach, making it perfect for families. The pools are nice rooms were very spacious, and all close to the amenities
The beach and sand were not clear as expected. There also were some rowdy other guests who decided to take the speaker and turn off the hotels' music and play their own Indian music. The hotel is quite far from anything else, no shops or food stalls nearby.

Quiet location and our room is facing the ocean so got to see the Sunset. Did not try their breakfast but did manage to get dinner on our first night and it was excellent. They have great staff and it is a very safe location to have a staycation.
perhaps some facelift in the future for some of the rooms and getting to the Resort by self driving will be a challenge for those not familiar with driving in tight roads.

The resort is located in a quiet part of Samui - approx. 50 mins from the airport, 20 mins from Lampraya pier. It is directly at the beach.
The swimming pool is big enough for a few real strokes, deep enough for the kids to jump in.
The cottages are basic, but comfortable. Every day cleaning helps to keep the sand out of your bed.
People working at the resort are all super friendly and willing to assist you with anything.
It needs some maintenance here and there. Not too bad, but some TLC would to wonders!
It is really secluded - that is a pro, but also a con 😊.

If you want peace and quiet, this is the place to be! Perfectly secluded from the crowded tourist places on a beach where you can watch the sunset. You can rent a scooter at the resort and discover the island that way. Pool was lovely and the restaurant was fine. Leo was a great host!
I stayed for a whole week and it would’ve been nice if they changed the bed linnen at least once.

It is very quiet here. We had the best sleep. The rooms are very clean. The sunset was amazing. The staff is friendly. The beach was great for a long walk during low tide. The price was very reasonable.
Would be nice to have somewhere to wash the sand off the feet before entering the rooms and restaurant. We were told that only black coffee is available during breakfast. Would be nice to have some other options.

This is a definitely underrated spot. We found it absolutely amazing. It's located in a quiet Talling Ngam village, where limited tourism is nicely mixed with a local Thai life. Bungalows in Am Samui are clean, bright, spacious, well equipped and surrounded by a beautiful garden. The manager is absolutely lovely (warm greetings to Leo!) and all staff is friendly and easy to reach. The resort faces a wide private beach, nicely shadowed by trees. It offers transportation, scooter, massage, drinks and tasty food, both Thai and western. There are also local Thai family-run restaurants nearby (Mum-A-Roy and Pada) and more fancy Island View bar and restaurant. A bit further you will also find a vegetarian Italian resto Villa Giacomelli. There are couple of small local shops with basic products, a temple and a Muay Thai gym. All these places are within 2-8 min walk and they are merged with breathtaking nature and calm local life. We'd love to go back there!
The sea might get a bit muddy since the main part of the beach faces a shallow bay. But there's beautiful sand everywhere and only few steps away (still within the same property) you'll find calm clear water to swim. You can also take a free kayak to explore isolated no-man's beaches only 10-15 mins away.

Absolutely lovely.
The resort itself is a magical place,it felt just like we are in a dream.
The rooms are clean and comfy, and each room has a little private balcony.
Food,

I really liked the staff a lot they are always smileing and very friendly. The Bungalows, the restaurant, the pool area and the beach are decorated with love. A place to feel in peace.
I was a bit disappointed because it's not a good place to swim in the ocean.

Staff were highlight so friendly! Right on the beach. Really good food. Location didn't suit us because far from busy areas but perfect for just relaxing and we rented scooter at resort with ease and went around the island would recommend.

The view was nice and the AC was working.
Showers were not really working. Staff was not around even for breakfast and over the day. The restaurant was not open. We had to aak multiple times for beach towels and the beach was dirty. We had to make a deposit of 100 Bhat for each drinking glas.

The resort was beautifully located and the room spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and helpful; I had a flat tyre on my motorbike and one of the staff took it to be repaired, back within an hour.
The coffee, packet stuff.

The pool was the only positive
There was no staff at all when I arrived at approx 3.00 pm . A gardener appeared after about 30 minutes she made a phone call and I was given a key, after asking for the wifi code I was told wifi is not working. After some time a staff member ( the only one I saw in 3 days) asked to go to reception to check in , and very happily took the money. Come evening I went looking for the restaurant and bar area , both of which are advised. They were both closed indefinitely. Would have been appreciated to be told this at check in and received a discount, but neither happened. Extremely dissatisfied .
