We have enjoyed their good service s and conformity

You do have to take a taxi from the train station to get to the hotel as walking there would be impossible. Taxi's are available right outside the station and they know the area well.
Staff are friendly and accommodating.
Lovely traditional room!
Had dinner and breakfast. Lots of traditional Japanese food but staff are helpful if you are unsure what the items are. There are western food available. But if you are fussy, I would recommend grabbing food from the convenience store before getting there. We had only 1 night stay and didn't have a chance to use the hot springs. Will give it a go next time when the weather is cooler.
The AC is really outdated. No matter which setting we put it, it would constantly turn on and off the whole night. While it was off, the room got hot and stuffy really quickly. Then when the AC would turn on again, the room chilled really fast. The whole night it was the battle of putting the blanket on and off constantly.

The sauna was great with a atmospheric sound.

old japanese style and super spacious rooms, onsen
a bit old-fashioned, not a nice smell on some floors

Elegant hotel with tasteful interiors. Super clean room. Onsen was great, esp. the cavern. DIY coffee making in the lobby was lots of fun. Coffee beans from various countries, mill, taste superb.
Hotel is a bit off the beaten track, takes climbing up steep hill to reach.

Facilities, Onsen and room. Also the secret observatory. Styling was really nice given this is old tourism.
Location was far off for someone without a car. If there could be had Hello Bicycle rental station, it would help connect this hotel to Gamagori center.

I really enjoyed that they are accepting of tattoos and allow tattooed people inside the onsens openly.
The shuttle service to and from the train station is very convenient.
The assortment of baths was nice to experience multiple types of onsens.
My husband really enjoyed the coffee bar near the lobby.
The onsens were a bit small, so if you go when there are many people I don't think it would be very comfortable.
The buffets were only okay, with some of the food served being cold and not many desserts. The best part was for sure the made to order selections like steak and tempura.
The gift shop on site doesn't have many snack options so I recommend bringing some work you if you intend on drinking/snacking.
The futons were not very comfortable.

Very clean. The free coffee counter is cool and good! All staff are very helpful and nice.
Although the dinner is buffet and could not mention it was a rich buffet, overall was still okay. However the breakfast disappointed me.

Spacious room. I liked the mix of tatami and carpetted space. My wife really enjoyed the downstairs onsen. The breakfast was a mixture of western and Japanese fare. There's a really neat fixture in the lobby where you can grind your own coffee.
The walk up to the hotel is quite dark in the evenings for walking up although there is a torch in the room.

Enjoyed the outside onsen to the fullest. Nice dinner and breakfast!
the location is somehow far to reach from center but the shuttle bus service helped.

Comfortable room, rich breakfast, onsen/spa area is very nice too

The staff are freindly
There is a buss shuttle service but asper the agent there is no buss or shuttle

Very nice room with a dining area, separate bathroom / foyer area, and enough room for futons and two single beds. Helpful staff with limited English, plenty of free parking
Lots of natural lighting - no window dressing, e.g. black out curtains... No private onsens, all onsens are public.

The breakfast was a traditional japanese breakfast good in quality, no exceptional stuff but really good. There was also egg and western style food options and good coffee and english tea. The place is on the hill slope which makes for amazing views of the Gamagori bay. It's also a bit more hidden than regular hotels you can see from below which makes it a cozy nice private stay.
The place is a little bit up in the hill which makes the commute to the ryokan something of a hassle if you don't have a car. However they have pickup and commute service to Laguna Ten Bosch and the closest station. Also the Cave bath and the Roman bath seem a little bit on the old side but it wasn't bad.
