Good place to stay near San Sebastian, high up in the hills
Check in only from 6pm is a little late

Very comfortable rural setting with great views. Use of kitchen a great bonus as there is nowhere close to go out to eat.
Quite difficult to find especially in the spaghetti configuration of the immensely complex road system in and around San Sebastian

We used the place as a stop over during a long road trip. Rustic house which produces cider (I must admit I am not fond of it, but that's me!). We were given a comfortable, clean, recently renovated double room with ensuite bathroom (even though we had booked twin bed with a bathroom in the corridor). so that was nice! Very well appointed common kitchen, useful to prepare your own meals. The place is in the countryside overlooking the city and is quiet, with country lanes to take a walk after a long drive.
The access roads were not obvious, quite narrow, but we found Artola!

Lovely quiet location up on the hillside overlooking the valley, convenient drive to town and not far beyond that to reach San Sebastian. Near to numerous Cider Houses for you to enjoy.
Comfy beds and a very good breakfast available.
Plentiful convenient free parking
Would recommend and would stay again!
Old property so there are no fans or A/C, Given it was pretty hot and humid when we stayed a fan in the room would have been very helpful!
There was a bit of a storm whilst we were there and it was massively windy up on the hillside where the house is located. This caused the shutters and windows to bang all night which woke us up a few times, given it's an older property this is the nature of the game, just good to know in advance!

It’s very cozy and quiet, we liked it very much, self-made breakfast was a good option for us because of time flexibility. Views are amazing, shops and beaches are 10 min away by car.

Very nice views of the surroundings, very nice, clean room
noise from other guests, very thin walls

the setting was beautiful and room was clean
we received a notice to arrive 1 hour before staff was on site so we had to leave and come back (the property is up a steep tight, winding hill so access is no easy feat). we had no towels in our room and the accommodations, though clean and comfortable were right on top of each other hearing every sound the other guests made. it was a beautiful place but not sure id stay again.

Nice rural house in the middle of the country side of Astigarraga.
Breakfast poor and not in line of the principles for agriturismo
