very central to things and comfy. air con and fan were lovely and was nice to have a fridge.
shower was very low pressure and the temperature alternated drastically. could do with a deep clean.

Good value for money. Couldn't have asked for a better location.
Toilets don't have exhaust fans...

The location was excellent near the waterfront and near the nighttime activities in the bar area. The rooms were clean large bathrooms
There was an issue with the TV a couple of times where it went out for an hour or two it always came back it was just inconvenient. And the TVs are very small 24-in TVs. Not having an elevator makes it difficult also. But it is good value for money I would return

the owners were polite, unobtrusive, logically flexible i.e do you want clean towels? do you need your room cleaned? good location and fair price
there appears to be a number of guests who I consider to be suffering from some form of extreme noise sensitivity. I am a seaman who has spent a significant amount of my life living in close quarters with others. Outside of the odd scrapping of a metal base of a heavy wooden chair across a short section of a marble floor I am absolutely confident that I gave little if any cause for complaint. Yet sadly one guest immediately below my room, the victim of the single occurrence of the scrapping chair and the adjoining room guest both found it necessary to complain of having their sleep disturbed, of course the complaint was made to the management rather than to myself, speaks volumes about their characters I believe. The management handled it with a truely balanced, and competent aplomb that I felt was very tactful and extremely well managed . In short if your as quiet as a mouse you’ll fit in like a hand in a glove. conversely if you are a party animal or have a tendency towards being noisy you may be better suited elsewhere.

good location, decent room and shower
so so loud, the walls are so thin, our neighbour was singing all night and the street noise is so loud, stayed for 3 nights and didn’t get a good sleep once. okay for a short stay as the location is nice

Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and super balcony room with table and chairs outside the room was delightful.

The location was great literally opposite the palace and the Cambodian museum.
It was noisy. The building next door was having work done and would start early in the morning.
The bars would play loud music but thankfully only until about mid night.
The stairs up to top floor were a good workout

building works have started in the property next door so banging and drilling from 7.30am in the morning. Not the Bright Lotus fault I know but ruined the holiday.
Also drain in shower not draining away had to ask twice for it to be looked at still a problem and not fixed. They
cleaned room every 2 days for first week then didn’t clean 3 days and when I mentioned it they said you have to ask for it to be clean - worth bearing that in mind if you do stay here.

Great spot. Husband and wife team are terrific, very helpful and speak good English which is handy when wanting info. The young staff can be a bit surly and will just laugh at you when you ask them something, typical teenagers!! A little on the pricey side, more than I remember paying last time I was in town. Only downside at the moment is the renovations happening next door. It’s incredibly loud when they are working but if you’re out exploring it’s fine. The issue is if you want to sleep in, they started at 07-30 Sunday morning and I was not happy. The owners have said the work is nearly finished so hopefully it’ll quiet down soon. Altogether would recommend.
Noise next door. Bathrooms need a bit of an upgrade.

The location is amazing!! The staff were so friendly and helpful and we had the most amazing view of the palace gardens!
It did not bother us but there is no lift so something for people to keep in mind if they have poor mobility.

Convenient to local landmarks

the location was good and you can pay by card (+3%)
There is not lift and we were staying (like most of the people) in the 5thfloor. Staff/ owners are not friendly at all. We had to ask them twice to switch the AC on as they usually turn it off whenever. It's pretty loud all day long (someone's decided to clean our windows at 6am). Shower has 0 pressure (forget about it if you have long hair)

The location is great! Walking distance to the Royal Palace, museum and riverside!
Bed is not too comfy

Great family run guesthouse in calm area near the river. Lovely for morning strolls and attached restaurant is very friendly and does super coffee and pho. Night market is a ten minute walk away, so too are the more hectic bar and restaurant streets. Took the little room at the very top. Steep last set of stairs but view over the park is gorgeous. Perfect for me and stayed twice on separate occasions

Very close to the river side, and right opposite to the palace. The location is good to be fair.
Room it self looks quite different from the photos. The complimentary bottled water…looks old and somehow something floating in it.

Spotless on the inside and very friendly staff. it is in a great location in the middle of town.

comfortable location and place to sleep with a great view from the balcony on to the national museum!
could have probably got a better place and cheaper but it was decent enough! the staff were helpful, we had quite a few ants in the room but that’s relatively normal standard in cambodia at least in my experience.

The room was okay and location pretty close to supermarket, boulevard and other necesities.
We booked a double room but got a twin room. The balcony on the photo is just for the use of that one room. Nearby was a busy bar with very loud music so earplugs needed. The stairs were quiet steep and small so I just went down for lunch, walked around, had diner and then went back up to avoid doing that twice a day. The boy in the reception doesnt speak English so for every question he calls somebody to let me talk to the phone, that wasnt very convenient. Bicycles are not for rent at the moment due to Covid, motorscooters can be arranged.

Great central location and close to the river. Friendly staff and comfortable room. Great view.

Nothing. Only water pressure is slightly low.
Good location near many restaurants, and near city center. Room is clean, TV, air conditioner and refrigerator are good.
4.5 / 5.0
Tranquility in the heart of the city. Great walks to nearby parks, the river, markets and restaurants. Comfy bed, good air-conditioning, lovely balcony, shower cold or warm, helpful staff, well-supplied with kettle and fridge, handy supermarket opposite for daily needs. Reasonable rates.
No complaints at all.

Location, ease of check-in, balcony
4.5 / 5.0
Very clean, well-thought-out furnishings, including a fridge and kettle in the room with a good shower. Meals are available downstairs but there are lots of places to eat nearby and a very good convenience store opposite. I came here after my 2-week quarantine and found it a great place to start exploring the city. Staff were friendly and helpful.
I really can't fault it. I was lucky to get a room with a patio overlooking the thriving part of the city near the riverside and lovely pedestrian park areas near historic buildings. I don't mind hearing tuk tuks, etc going by but some people might. It is great to see a city opened up although still people are mostly wearing masks and some cafes have cut their hours back.
