Looking for a less busy place than on the opposite side of the bay (with Nafplion and Tolo) we found the cosy little town of Xiropigado and were really happy with our choice! Everything is in walking distance and you can drive to many interesting places in under an hour. The small local beach is ok for a refreshing swim, but there are a lot of nice beaches both north and south to explore. The owner Peggy was really welcoming and very helpful, we could reach her for questions any time. She speaks very good english and kindly offered us an upgrade for the room.
The apartment was modern, clean and in a very good condition! We had everything we needed, the kitchen is small but well equipped so we could prepare our breakfast and dinner. But of course there are plenty of options nearby to eat which we did not try due to a rather short stay. The mini market around the corner is convenient for anything you need. We stayed during the heatwave with over 40 degrees, so the aircon was struggling a bit to get the room cooled, but we slept really well and it was not getting overly hot inside. Unfortunately we only stayed for two nights before the end of our holiday, but would come back here any time for a stopover!
Nothing to complain, we only regretted having to leave too soon...

I really liked how close is this apartment from the sea. Just 1-2 minutes walking.
And this sea is really nice for families with children. There are always other children around for your children to play with. Also the taverns are just next to you!!!
When searching and reading previous reviews I really thought that it was more than great to stay there but after staying I am talking that back. This apartment is like an experiment! They tried to do something differently but they forgot that basic functions matter most of all!
It's not convenient to provide two rooms apartment but not have A/C in the bedroom!!!
It's not good not to be able to just browse a simple website because of the ultra low speed WiFi.
It's not practical for everyone to have to clean waters around after a shower because your funcy mechanism to gather waters does not work! It's not the filter that is full of small rocks but the incline of the floor that it should be greater!!!
Last, it's the least soundproof apartment that I ever lived in. I could hear anything that the below were doing and I felt really bad because probably they probably say the same for me!

Brand new apartment, nicely designed and with a lot of space. Very polite and helpful owners. Very close to a nice pebbles beach and driving distance to mountains and other activities.
For late October, the price was a bit high. Also not all of the apartments have easy access from and to the parking lot.

The beach was walking distance from the hotel, and it turned out to be our favorite beach. Grocery store is up the street, bakery as well. Parking was available at all times.
There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was perfect. We tried to add on another day but unfortunately it was booked. Peggy and her family run a perfect hotel.
