Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable accommodation very affordable.

Clean and comfortable rooms, very helpful and friendly staff arranged snorkelling tour and booked taxi for us. No request was too difficult and we were upgraded to a twin villa with private pool for the whole stay.

Amazing massage on site with ocean views. Large swimming pool very refreshing. Only short walk down the best beach on Lembongan.

Fabulous place for a short stay .

We loved the pool after a walk up the hill from the beach to cool off in. Loved how helpful the staff were in helping us organise a snorkeling tour, laundry and transfers. Bed was super comfortable, and air con was really good at keeping the room comfortable sleeping temp. The quirky outdoor bathroom was fun.

I stayed with my daughter and her kids, their two rooms were great. My room was also really nice, however I seemed to get visited by mozzies overnight. ( the others weren’t at all, so maybe I was just blessed) Not sure where they came from, as the place was shut up, and had mozzie nets around the bed that keep most at bay, but a few persistent ones woke me up each night. Suggest you have a can of spray to zap any visitors. Didn’t detract from my stay at all, just wish I had had spray on hand to deal with them quickly.

Over het algemeen rustige plek verscholen tussen de bomen om heerlijk tot rust te komen

Vriendelijk personeel, rustige plek boven op de heuvel. Fijne kleine huisjes als kamer. Zwembad is fijn.

Betaling achteraf met creditcard betekent 3% meer moeten betalen. Had liever vooraf bij booking.com de betaling gedaan (zonder de 3% surcharge). Life muziek (van een bar) was elke dag tot lang in de avond te horen.

The staff was friendly and helpful with our needs.

The property was in close proximity of my wife’s family. It also was quite in the area and allowed for a peaceful escape

Beautiful secluded boutique hotel located in a natural environment.

We have stayed at Darsan Cottage a few times before. We love this small family run hotel. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We will be returning and can recommend this place to everyone.

Paradise

The staff were excellent, nothing was a problem, anything you need they were happy to get for you. Lovely accommodation, It was a real slice of island paradise.

I was charged for an extra night. They were shady and lied when I tried to resolve this.

The bungalow was comfortable.

The location is far from beach and restaurants. It was challenging to get transportation. Very rough roads and remote location.

great spot

Wonderful location (although you do need to be able bodied due to the hill walk required) simple huts and gorgeous pool:

The only downside was that the restaurant only served breakfast (which was delicious) so you had to travel to find other meal options. They do also arrange transport to other restaurants after dark, and as a solo female traveller, this was a relief as it’s quite a dark walk alone at night. As soon as the new restaurant opens, this will be alleviated and only really an issue if you don’t ride a scooter (like me).

I really enjoyed it and will most likely come back!

The accommodation was super close to a really cute beach and was comfortable to stay in.

The breakfast could use a bit more variety to accommodate dietary needs (I.e. dairy-free options)

We enjoyed our stay, but next time we chose a different location.

it was tranquil and very well maintained, clean.

The only issue with this property is the access, it is uphill from the beach and the path is steep, unlit at nighttime.

Very good

Gede is a great host and is quick with communication, responses and information. The cottages are located up a hill a short distance from a beach and 10 minutes walk to where the fast boats arrive and depart. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks Gede 😀

had a great time , thank you for your hospitality!

the property was great, we stayed in the two bedroom with our own pool and found it great with two children 6-7yr olds Family Run and Owned , all of the staff were great , they arranged the rental scooters and a snorkeling trip for us.

it is a little out of the way so if you want to go out on adventures then a scooter is a must , although you can access the local beach and there is a few great cafes within walking distance if you don’t mind a walk….

Beautiful stay on a beautiful island!

The grounds were beautiful and the pool was refreshing. There were many places to sit and enjoy.

My friend complained about the rooster waking her up very early, but I thought the chickens were quite cute.

Quiet and amazing place

Everything was great - from check-in to check-out. We were picked up from the port and taken to the hotel. We were greeted with a welcome juice, very quickly issued and settled. The stuff is very pleasant and friendly. Throughout our stay, all wishes were fulfilled immediately. The place is quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended and would love to come back again! Thank you for the amazing time in Lembongan!

Tranquil and serene in nature

Loved the outdoor bathroom and shower. felt very jungly! Super clean place, great value for money. Pool was lovely, I was often the only one in there as the whole place is so quiet and serene (just the sounds of nature!) Breakfast was great, staff were lovely and friendly. refillable water fountain so you don’t need to buy more water bottles.

a little bit far and isolated from the main stretch of restaurants which is ok in the day (10-25 mins walk depending on where you want to go). But most places will offer you a lift back to the guest house for free. I was a single female traveller and was a bit worried walking in the dark so a member of staff gave me a lift to the restaurant and then I got a free ride back with one of the waiters!

Great value for money, beautiful place, recommended!

Beautiful place, nice rooms, very friendly staff, beautiful pool. Staff really went out of their way to make everything as nice as possible for the guests. Great value for money. Recommended, and we would stay here again!

The only downside is that 90% of the menu wasn't available in the restaurant. I don't know if that is a structural thing, but since it's either a (short) walk downhill in the dark or a scooter ride to other restaurants, it would have been nice to have a few more options when eating at the hotel. The menu looked great :)

loved our stay here! such a lovely accommodation, staff went above and beyond to make our stay welcome. excellent value for money, small but tasty menu. less busy side of Lembongan but easily walkable along small secluded beach to the other side or would recommend hiring moped.

Exceptional

What a place to stay. Incredible value for money. Beautiful room and common areas - with the pool with views of the ocean. It’s quiet nearby but you can easily walk to the beach and it’s a short drive away from sight seeing points. The owner and the receptionist were beyond kind and provided advice, and even helped me drive around the island. Breakfast was also delicious and inexpensive. Waking up in the room and having a shower under the open sky were such a delight ! I will 100% stay here again.

Good value for money. Location is good. The hotel is close to all tourist attractions. They also have scooters, which are the way to go for exploring the Island.

Staff is over-occupied and under-resourced. Pool is very nice but over-chlorinated at times. They property has a lot of bugs crawling around, which needs some check.

Needs for facilities

The cottages were good.

Inconvenience to reach the location And to reach hotel Staff. For any small thing, one has to walk till reception to ask for help. Towels were not changed. Refills for tea/coffee or washes were done only if asked. Nothing is within 1km apart from a beach where restaurants shuts at 9. And Hotel has a restaurant where no food is available apart from breakfast. The hotel is located in dark roads so one cannot walk out to have food. The full place is also filled with insects specially washroom. Overall not a pleasant stay.

An amazing experience on a quite place with the best staff!

What a beautiful place, and what a wonderful people! A quite place where you can enjoy the perfect harmony of nature, good food and each other. The staff arranges everything for you, just ask. the breakfast is limited but really good! We have stayed here for two weeks and would go back anytime! wow so amazing, what an experience!

The mosquito’s… but those are everywhere on the island!!!

We came to visit nusa lembongan for 2 nights and wished we had booked longer as it was such a relaxing and peaceful stay. Location was great, breakfast was excellent, immaculately clean pools. We enjoyed a full hour massage outside by the pool on our last day. A close 5 minute walk to the beach. Rooms are big with great facilities. Bathroom and shower are out in the open at the back of the cottage with shampoo and shower gel provided. Great AC and comfortable bed with mosquito net provided inside cottage. We would love to come back and stay again- the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome including giving us recommendations of what to see, picking us up and dropping us off at places we wanted to see for the day, dropping us off at the port on our last day, giving us water for the day, helping us to exchange money during our stay. Showing us around the island and recommending the best things to see. Such a friendly family run business and couldn't recommend this place highly enough- we will definitely be visiting again!

Hidden Gem

Gede and the friendly staff were so helpful. They were happy to assist with anything we needed. We had a private pool villa and it was excellent! Clean, comfortable and quite spacious. The breakfasts were delicious and the evening meals from a simple menu were delicious! We would definitely recommend Darsan Boutique Cottages for couples and families.
