Beautiful grounds and surrounds, especially during autumn with all the vibrant colours.
Sound insulation was very poor, did not sleep well. Could keep hearing creaking noises from upstairs whenever someone walks or bathroom is used.
Fine if you’re a deep sleeper
4.3
set in a beautiful vineyard, so great views from the rooms, restaurant served great food. cellar for winetasting onsite. quick drive into town for any other restaurants or shops.
not much else to do in the surrounding areas
4.3
Bed was comfortable, easy late check in, very pretty gardens, quiet, lovely breakfast dining set up, tasty breakfast.
We thought we had a room booked with a bath, it did not have one, the buffet selection was small. We asked for a special treat as it was the night of our wedding, they supplied one sad looking balloon on a string, tucked in the cupboard, opened the fridge and it was connected to a bottle of wine in the with a rushed handwritten congratulations.
4.3
Good sized rooms overlooking the lovely landscaped grounds - very relaxing in the beautiful setting around the homestead. The view from the restaurant and deck over the vineyard were stunning. Kate at Reception was a delight and the breakfast spread was delicious. The set dinner one night was delicious and enjoyable with attentive friendly service. The winetasting was interesting just a little busy with the Easter crowds. We had a great time relaxing and enjoying the wonderful setting and will return when next in the area.
There seemed to be a staff shortage on one of the biggest weekends of the year so it needed a bit more forward planning by management. The bar was closed each night from 6pm and for a 4 star property and a service that was promoted as a feature it was a bit disappointing. The restaurant did explain the situation and offered to provide drinks.

Location
Noisy people outside our room late into the night talking and carrying on . There an outside seating area next to rooms where people can sit and talk , ok during the day but not later into the night and early morning.
4.3
Lovely surroundings, quiet and very peaceful.
4.3
Lovely setting and comfortable room.
4.3
Good breakfast, nice location, good for a walk around the farm.
4.3
A/C unit was making constant, weird noise. Staff couldn't do anything about it.
4.3
Beautiful spot! Cellar door wine tasting and dinner at Carriage House was exceptional.
Water pressure in shower was pretty average but not the end of the world.
4.3
The whole atmosphere was amazing! You get the winery experience with everything at your fingertips.

Was very well presented

Great location, beautiful views.
Very friendly staff.
Amazing food
Good overall experience
4.3
The location, the view, the service was great.
4.3
the location is amazing and the staff is very friendly, we loved our stay there.
The wine tasting room is beautiful
the restaurant could have more options and the environment is cold
4.3
Beautiful property, so lovely to wander through the vines and see the farm animals. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the dining room, and both were excellent. It was lovely to have dinner at the venue (and a few wines), and be able to get home without worrying about designated drivers or a taxi.
The mood lighting in the rooms was a bit dim, on the gray wintery weekend we visited.
4.3
Beautiful winery and accommodation. Rooms were a great size and very clean. Beds were a bit hard but i guess that depends if you like a firm bed. The shared common area was great with pool table and Tv and fire place. As most things do close in a country town.
Only minor things, beds were hard, shower head was very low. Breakfast was just a buffet breakfast.
4.3
A full breakfast was included and very enjoyable.
4.3
The location was excellent.
There was only one bedside lamp. The room was dark and little bench space in the bathroom.
The breakfast had limited food left when we arrived at 9.15. The service was slow. Food was ordinary.
4.3
location was great, very serene views.
no noise policy, or if there was one, it wasn't followed. stayed at the lodge, expected there to be a wedding, no worries. but when the revellers continue celebrating with "club" music booming in the building nearby at 2am in the morning.. certainly not what I signed up for.
4.3
Lovely setting, tasteful refurb.
Restaurant was lacking. Poor ambience & average food & service.
4.3
Cooked breakfast one day then continental the next.
Minimal staff. The iron shorted out the room and with no reception open had to hunt down a staff member. This was at 1300 prior to attending a wedding. Unwanted stress. Inconsistent breakfast delivery. Cooked one day continental the next. Not disclosed in booking.

Beautiful location 1 hour away from the western suburbs of Melbourne. Very quite and serene location and I can understand why it would be a beautiful location for those looking at getting married.
I just didn't like that my annual leave from work wasn't longer as I could have seen myself there for another day or two.
4.3
Clean, great breakfast and quality coffee
4.3
Beautiful property and amazing views from restaurant
Nothing - it was all perfect
4.3
Very welcoming, the room was basic but clean with very comfy beds. There was a recreation room down the hall with couches, table and chairs and a pool table which we enjoyed after dinner in the restaurant.
Greeted with complimentary glass of sparking wine at reception was very welcoming, complimentary wine tasting and a great hearty breakfast all included. Exceeded expectations!
4.3
The food, drink and wait staff were amazing. The accommodation facilities are very good. Will definitely return
4.3
The atmosphere was relaxing & comfortable. Close to Melbourne but far enough away to feel special.
We were greeted with champagne & our 40th wedding anniversary was acknowledged.
Room servicing left our room, clean, neat & fully stocked.
Our dinner was below par, steak was not cooked as requested. The skin on the fish rubbery & unpalatable. The fish dish lacked taste & vegetables consisted of 2 green beans.
For what we received dinner was overpriced.
I wouldn't eat at the restaurant again.
I'd recommend accommodation only not breakfast or dinner.
