We had an absolutely perfect stay. The host was incredibly welcoming and friendly (special thanks for the refreshing treats after our long hike ;) ). The homemade dinner and breakfast were truly fantastic and delicious. The atmosphere of the place was also wonderful. We're already looking forward to our next visit, as we plan to stay there again without a doubt

Large, lovely room with an exceptional view from the spacious balcony, an extraordinary breakfast and the sweetest host ever!
Also located directly in front of the bus stop and fantastic hiking trails which is extremely convenient for anyone who isn't traveling by car.
Highly recommend this place! :D

The Pension host, Regina, is an amazing person, she's so warm and calm and she explains all you need (also in English :D ), the food she prepares is super tasty, we also had dinner at the pension and we enjoyed it very much...so much, that afterwards, we went to sleep like babies at 9 PM and slept for almost 12 hours :D.
In regards to the check-in hours, as for someone coming from Eastern Europe are used to come quite early to check-in, mostly if you stay during the weekend like we did, but we learned that here, checking in around 15:00 is actually a practice, so don't get worried if you don't see anyone at the pension around noon time (it may depends on the month, end of Sep is not necessarily that busy).
We also had the breakfast here, it was amazing, more then i could eat, at least... from orange juice, coffee, honey, different sorts of breads, various types of bacons, cereals with milk. spread chocolate, you would be quite full afterwards and the price/quality ration is amazing :).
We enjoyed the 2 days experience at the Pension also in the area.
I cannot say i disliked something, it was my first experience in the Austrian Alpes with the Austrian local everything, if i can say it like this and it was lovely, my mind can only find ways now to come back and get more time enjoying the location/pension and surroundings. In the location/like area wise, you can get with a car, as everybody, but you can also get with the bus, which I'm sure can be a very nice experience. So even if the location is somehow in between 2 major locations, like Turnau and Mariazell, the distance is quite small to any of them, if you want a bit more action and visiting to do and the trip to any of these major/larger locations is great due to the impressive view.

The room was clean, comfortable and silent, the breakfast was delicious and more than enough. Regina is so lovely and helpful. We fell in love with her dog Mimi immediately. We'll be staying there during our next trip too.

We were very well received. They asked about Corona test or vaccine, which we consider very good. The bed was very confortable. We had everything we needed. The host, Regina, is very nice, making sure that all guests are happy. Breakfast was great.
The area is beautiful, The road with spectacular turns, The air is pure and fresh, absolutely wonderfull. Mariazell is at 20 km away. We will come back for sure.

On the second day we didn't have warm water for showering

Location, the owner, the dog, the atmosphere, the food, the ‘feel good’ feeling we got staying there.
Property seems a bit tired. Actually thought it was closed when we first arrived, but we were given a great welcome by the owner (and the dog).

Great hospitality, for example even we arrived very late the host was so kind to wait for us and even offered a dinner.
The room is very clean and arranged with care. I was happy to find a hand cream exact when I noticed that I forgot mine in the car while my hands were so dry.
The view from the balcony is great, I could see the mountains. Very good price performance rating. I definitely recommend. Next time I hope we can also join the meal, now my dog was tired and not friendly. But Milly is such a nice and friendly dog welcoming the guests.
Around the location there are many hiking trails I think for all levels.
Thank you!!
See you next time.
