Beautiful location

We loved our stay. Everything was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious and made to order. The hosts are so kind and helpful with advice for how to get to Ischia and for things to do once we arrived.

Nice bed and breakfast with fair prices

It has a spacious room and bathroom. The room has an Italian charm with beautiful tiles, and also some nice modern updates, such as a reading light and wireless charger on each side of the bed.

The first night we slept with windows open and invited some mosquitoes in, our fault. The second night we realised that the AC controller didn't work (empty batteries), so we weren't able to change the temperature in the room. Partly this was also our fault, because we didn't check this earlier, but we really prefer open windows to AC. It would be a nice addition to have mosquitoes nets on the windows.

I would Ischia is a must. B&B Marcantonio was great for us

perfect location for shopping and castle. both the owner and Miryam were extremely helpful. Full kitchen available! A real taste of life on Ischia.

Rosa was very welcoming and available for a late check-in. She allowed us to let our luggage in the flat while visiting the castle. The flat has a very nice terrasse to have breakfast and is closed to the city center of Ischia Ponte. There is a bus stop in front of the flat street to go to Ischia Porto to Ischia Ponte.

Rosa is wonderful and friendly. She made our first ever visit to Ischia a great experience. We had everything we needed in the room. And breakfast was delicious with homemade treats. The terrace with the castle view is beautiful. It is in a quiet location with friendly people around. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Rosa went above and beyond and let us keep our bags in the B&B as our ferry didn’t leave until 5pm. Highly recommend!

Nice room in a nice location!

Although communication was difficult in English, we managed to understand each other. The room was nice and we loved the breakfast on the terrace. It is nice that you can walk to the shops, stores and the small beach.

We came by car, which is not very convenient since the small streets and stairs. We had a lot of stuff, but we managed. Although I would not recommend going by car.

Some Pictures are fake, breakfast really really disappointing

The apartment and beds were ok. All the pictures are though taken with a wide angle and in bright mode, to make things look better than they in real. It’s really difficult to find the place.

The most important for us and one of the main reasons for booking the B&B was the highly rated breakfast and nice pictures to sell that. We wanted to start every morning in a relaxed manner with plentiful breakfast. But it was really cheap and we were totally disappointed- hence the low rating. The breakfast pictures are not real in sense of what is really offered. The coffee is just ok, not more than that. There was always yogurt and granola on offer. No eggs were maid available. The first morning there was orange and apple juice, but after that only really bad juice like grapefruit, when we asked if it was possible to get the same juice as the first day we were told it was sold out in the store- that was not correct as we saw it in the shelves. Also, the first morning there was one sweet croissant on our plates and when we asked about more salty things, we got cheese and ham the next day but nothing sweet as we where told we could only have one or the other. Later we where told we should have asked for to have both, but we already did on the first day. The bread was supposed to be fresh but wasn’t, probably newly bought but then from a bag in the supermarket, definitely not the bakery! Also just one type, no darker bread like on the pics. So there were no cakes or plentiful breakfast- the pictures are telling lies. We where told the cakes are just when the B&B is full of people, but that’s not what we paid for and they still could have made smaller portions available to us- so just really bad service and small lies from the staff. PS: just to note, we have never written such a bad review before, normally we have been happy with our hotels

nice room, difficult communication with host

the room with the terrace and view to the garden is very nice. location is great for Ischia Ponte, relaxed and quiet.

like other people have mentioned, the b&b is difficult to find. I had texted our arrival time but we had to call the host who then showed up 20 min later. Not feeling very welcomed. Breakfast was bland compared to all other B&Bs we stayed at in Italy. My main complaint however is that my favourite running/lounge shorts went missing after we checked out. It is my own fault for forgetting them of course, but I sent text msg for days afterwards (first I got no reply) asking for them and to have them sent by post. Bright Brazilian coloured green/yellow shorts that would have been immediatelly visible in among white laundry. The host says the laundry place never found anything, so I don t know if someone kept them or threw them away. So my advice is: make sure you don t leave anything behind, you will never see it again.

The B&B was really hard to find. A sign would definitely be an improvement.

The rooms were exceptionally clean. Breakfast was okay but I did find it bizarre that there was no orange juice one morning but was on the first morning.

The property is quite difficult to find. there are no signs and it is down a back alley..thankfully a neighbour let us in while we waited for the host.

Brilliant!

Our room was gorgeous, high and bright. Bathroom large and clean. Beautiful view from the balcony. Our host Rosa was very friendly and helpful. We had a great time in Marcantonio.

Maybe breakfast could have had a little more fruit and vegetables. :)

Very good

Spacious, luminous room, comfy bed, large bathroom with a good shower. Nice breakfast room with view, the lady was very kind and the breakfast choice was limited but good. The B&B is situated in Ischia Ponte, the older area of the town.

The heating didn't work, but they supplied a space heater. The premise isn't easy to find, situated in a back lane of an alley: a road sign would be v. helpful

It was okay , but for the price you could find something better.

It was quiet and peaceful.Close to the beach, castello and the bus stop.

The room was pretty cold.The breakfast was awful.Only sweets, and the cheese was not even close to being fresh.The pictures were far away from the true look of the properity.

Nice place in Ischia Ponto

The B&B had a very nice breakfast. The room was clean and service was good. Perfect located just a 5 min walk to the castle and some good dining places!

Highly Recommend

The property is in a private street within walking distance of the port and Ischia Centro. The rooms are spacious and beyond clean. Lovely breakfast and even lovelier hostess. Grazie Mille
