Una estancia tranquila lejos del centro de la ciudad.

Es una casa que en el piso de arriba se aloja la familia y en el piso de abajo se alojan los invitados. Son solo tres piezas disponibles en este alojamiento, por lo que es sumamente tranquilo e íntimo. El piso de abajo, que corresponde al sector de los invitados tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia cómoda en los espacios comunes: baño, cocina y un pequeño comedor. El baño compartido es grande y cómodo. Incluso, hay un espacio para dejar tus cosas, al igual que en la cocina. La cocina está muy bien equipada y la pieza tiene suficiente espacio para colgar toda la ropa que llevamos. La calefacción es fantástica, la pieza iluminada y la cama y almohadas muy cómodas. Nosotros nos alojamos 4 noches y estuvo muy bien. Un día incluso estaban arreglando el baño, por lo que se nota que mantienen y cuidan el espacio que tienen para alojar invitados.

Considerar que los zapatos se dejan en el recibidor, por lo que si no quieres pasar frío caminando por el piso de cerámica de la cocina, debes llevar unas pantuflas. Además, aunque hay muy cerca una estación de autobuses y los buses son siempre puntuales en su horario, no existe locomoción colectiva en la noche (solo existe los sábados y domingos) por lo que si andas buscando auroras es difícil llegar a ellas desde esta ubicación. Tampoco esperes limpieza diaria en los espacios comunes.

Perfect for my needs, thanks for a nice stay!

The layout and safety for the rooms was nice. The kitchen was well-equipped. The location was very close to a 24 hour Netto supermarket, which was great!

The bed pillow was very thin, which is a personal preference. Having a door to the kitchen would help block noise.

… it’s a basic room, clean facilities, has a parking. For our need it’s completely comfortable.

No breakfast. It’s an abnb. Rooms with shared bathroom. Served the purpose. It’s good for those who has their own transportation.

… not much expectation. For a night on to a road trip - it has served the rest we needed after a long flight.

Nice, clean place to stay for a night or two in Reykjavík.

Very nice and clean room, also very nice and clean house. Close to a supermarket and a bus stop. Free parking at the end of the street (about 20m). Very easy to navigate here and also off Reykjavík. The room has curtains and blinds and it´s not a problem, sleeping there during 24h daylight was perfectly fine.

There are three rooms, each for two people, and only one bathroom - both WC and the shower in one space. Can cause queues

Perfect place for a nice stay near Reykjavík.

Great location, very close to the city, maybe like 15 min away. The check-in and check-out instructions were clear and easy. The place was clean and warm, with a tiny kitchen that satisfied our needs.

Would hope they could have mentioned there will be other guests in a separate room, but we happened to have met a lovely couple, so it was ok.

Clean, simple, good for sleeping

Good location if You have a car, washing machine and some rest commodity in the kithcen (salt, pepper, oil etc), so You don't need to buy everything for cooking. Clean and clear accomondation with smart key box check in.

One bathroom/toilett for 3 rooms is sometimes a bottleneck. Everybody wants to go to a tour arround 9:00, so from 7:30 to 9:00 could be problematic, but We could live with that.

A comfortable and exceptionally clean guesthouse at a very reasonable price.

Exceptionally clean room, kitchen, dining area and bathroom. Bed was extremely comfy. Kitchen facilities were great - fridge/freezer (with clearly marked shelves for each guest), hob, oven, microwave. Price was extremely reasonable (especially for Iceland) yet this did not compromise the standards in any way. The self-check-in procedure was extremely straightforward, with easy to understand instructions messaged to me before my arrival. A mere 5-minute walk from Mjodd Bus Station, which has frequent buses departing to Reykjavik city centre, as well as buses to various places outside the city (ie Vik, Selfoss, Akranes etc) Also a 5-minute walk from Netto supermarket, which is open 24 hours. Situated in a nice quiet residential area of the city

A desk in the bedroom to use my laptop would have been nice. There usually was not a dishtowel available in the kitchen (even though the rules state that dishes should be washed and put away!) Location is over 4 miles outside the city centre (however I feel the low price may compensate to a degree for this).

Comfortable and affordable stay with great location!

The room and the shared bathroom were both clean and comfortable. The shared kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. It is a few minutes drive from the city centre, but it would not be a problem if you drive a car. Instead, we really enjoy the quiet neighborhood.

Nice quality, cozy budget housing.

Super comfy and cozy rooms. The common areas were small but nice, with a little living area plus kitchen, bathroom, and laundry.

When we went to do our laundry, it was filled with sheets from the hosts. It would have been nice if there were specific times for guests vs hosts to do laundry.

The bed for two people is on the smaller side (like 160cm width) and the mattress was very flabby for my back.

The accomodation was cozy, clean and very nice. It had all we needed and more and we enjoyed our stay. Also the location is just perfect since it´s near a bus station and only few minutes to the centre of Reykjavik. I can´t but reccommend it! :)

Would recommend!

Small, but very practical, cozy bedroom. Very well organized and clean shared bathroom and kitchen (every room has a specific place for belongings in the bathroom, kitchen-space and fridge). Great, free parking option. Very friendly, helpful host. Great price-performance ratio.

Everything was fine. The common space does not get too much daylight, but if you want to explore Iceland, you will not spend much time there anyways:)

One of the best guesthouse we’ve been to.

One of the best guest houses we’ve been too. Self check-in was awesome. It was super nice that everything was described with stickers. Well-thought!

Nice and comfortable

The property is clean. It is spacious and bright. The heating works fine, we were not cold. We liked the neighborhood: quiet, a lot of parking space and just 7-8 mins away from the center of Reykjavik.

Guests are required to take their shoes off at the entrance. Hosts should definitely provide some slippers since the floor is freezing cold and not everyone brings their own slippers. Water from the tap smells terrible (sulfur water, rotten eggs).

Easy and efficient check-in and check-out. Cozy room and public space. Small but functional kitchen.

It must be better to have a stool at the main gate for us to put on the hiking boots.
