מלון נחמד עשוי להיות מצויין עם כמה שיפורים

פוסאדה מיוחדת בנויה במנזר לשעבר ומשמרת מוטיביים שמזכירים את המקור של המלון, חוויה משעשעת , ברחבי המלון פריטים מעניינים, כמו להתהלך במוזיאון ויש הרבה פינות מעניינות להסתובב בהן. בריכה נחמדה, ארוחת בוקר טובה ומשביעה, נוף ירוק של עמקים פוריים ופורחים בין הרים ירוקים , מיקום מעניין למי שרוצה לבקר בבלומנטה הסמוכה שם חזרו אנוסים בדורות האחרונים ליהדות ובנו בית כנסת ומוזיאון. המלון מתאים לביקור גם בסיירה אשטרלה ולמנוחה. מחיר השהייה הוגן

בחדר ריח טחב לא נעים כנראה מרטיבות שסימניה ניכרים בקירות החדר. היו גם זבובים במלון בשטחים הציבוריים, אין אופציות הסעדה סמוכות וארוחת הערב במלון יקרה מאד, ניתן להזמין מהתפריט, התמורה למחיר במסעדת המלון נמוכה.

Do ar rústico da pousada e do tamanho do quarto.

Da falta de limpeza à volta da piscina, deveria lá estar um funcionário, da falta de ar condicionado nas áreas comuns. O restaurante tem fama...mas a qualidade não corresponde ao preço (mais fama do que qualidade).

Welcome to an Oasis of Excellent Service and Splendid Surroundings

The location is quiet and lovely. Surrounded by trees, there is neither traffic noise nor dogs barking. There are great views across the valley.

The evening dinner was reasonably priced and delicious. The morning breakfast was equally delicious but the steam tables were not up to the task of keeping food warm, let alone hot.

Very large, comfortable room. Excellent bed, linens, etc Restaurant food very good, with accommodating service. Desk staff were pleasant and helpful Pool was appealing.

Showering required climbing into a bathtub, difficult and slippery. Shower head needed repair/replacement and couldn’t be adjusted for a proper shower. There is no elevator for those needing one.

A pleasant stay in attractive surroundings.

Lovely spacious room and very comfortable bed. The Pousada is very attractive and well equipped. The food is of a high quality especially dinner.

Very relaxing and comfortable.

The location and scenery are beautiful. We love the historic rustic architecture. Our room was very comfortable and nicely decorated with simple furnishings.

The bathroom is very outdated and the bath tub is quite tricky to climb in and out of.

The amazing view and architecture of the building, the friendly staff, the cozy room and the food quality.

There temperature in the main hall and corridors was not very pleasant. There are some steps which difficult the access for wheelchairs. After a full meal for 2 people (starters, main dishes and desserts) we were caught by surprise with an additional charge of another starter. This starter was overpriced and the staff did not mention it was not an offer. According to the Portuguese law, the price should be listed. It was not together with the other starters at least. A bit sneaky attitude that I was not expecting from such a nice restaurant.

Very comfortable place to stay but beware of the food

the location the room the hotel the staff

the evening meal my wife,s fish was cold and swimming in oil, my pork was ok but the rissito was soggy and again oily The mushroom srarter was also oily To us the food was not cooked from fresh but re heated from the llunch time Very poor we will not eat there when we retun next month, sorry

This was our third trip to the Pousada at Belmont, and as usual found it a truly relaxing and beautiful place to stay, with professional and helpful staff. It was so nice to see a competent and helpful person in charge of the restaurant, same as when we last visited.

Amazing stay in Pousada Belmonte

Posada was in the perfect location just outside Sierra Estrella, great for exploring near by hill towns during the day. Convent was stunning with historical courtyard and ruins, plus newer bedroom wing. The decor was tasteful and everything spotless.

hit and miss

The view from the property

Granted it has significant history and it has potential but certainly not optimised. while it was nice to be offered a upgrade to a suite, the suite was more of a downgrade, that said without actually viewing other rooms. The bed ( one of the most uncomfortable ) was rock hard! it was located up wooden stairs to a loft. if you need to go to the bathroom during the night it is not a smooth transition as there are a number of other steps too and quite a distance. Tye red table cloth on the table was stained with dried food. it’s not for people who have walking problems as many of the old surfaces are uneven. It is not cleaned thoroughly.
