Spodní Restaurace a její jídelní nabídka a její obsluha.

The Wellness centrum is lovely, has amazing athmosphere and is really clean. You can have most of the time pool and wellnes for yourself (at least in summer) and most of the stuff was lovely.
I posted a video from the hotel on my IG if you want to see: @tyna_music
Confort in rooms is pretty poor. Bed was unconfortable and the room looks really old. I would also apreciate more cleaning in the bathroom.

Location. Amenities. Staff.
Infrastructure design and furniture outdated.

Hmmmm almost nothing
Honestly this hotel is really bad quality far for what you pay for. Bad quality rooms ( expept the bed comfort ), small rooms , we are settled on the top floor , bad finishing, no bar at all, bowling Is very very bad quality . DONT even try !!!. Staff is not very welcoming. Remember we are the guests and we do not owe anything to the owners or the staff, but we felt like.
Overall Spindlerof Mlyn seems to be a place for Czech People with money who love their country ( nothing wrong with this), but far too rated for tourist who do not share the same values. It is double at least overpriced comparing to Austiria , where everything is miles better ( will not go into details). However I must. complement two restaurant places in the resort namely LEBEDA and https://goo.gl/maps/UqLbJuBCbn9FxvnX9
The. second one especially a superb restaurant and service.
ONE last thing, do not believe tin the photos Astra Hotel posted.
Ladt biut not least, the price we paid was the same as Savoy Hotel due to have good SPA, but PLEASE believe me then SPA at Astra Hotel I not worth at all Savoy is much more worth it!!!!
Feedback is very important and I would like to share my experience being very disappointed by our stay at Hotel Astra Spimdlerov Mlyn.
Kind regards

Breakfast was perfect. But the main advantage of the hotel is welness + massage.
Location is good: you can go by foot to the center of the town and also it's close the the main Medvedin ski zone (lift is close to the hotel Harmony).

there is only small criticism about hotel, rooms were a little bit cold, heater did not work at our room, but our families stayed another room they didnt have this problem, their rooms heater worked.

location quite nice
sauna is not included. and it’s only possible to visit if you pay for the ticket that is allow to use sauna in next 3 hours. i planned to used it after the swimming pool. but in that case it’s extremely expensive to pay 15 euros for the warm room in 15 min. it will be cool to inform in advance that the sauna option is not included in the reservation

All of the staff were friendly including Denis. So many highlights: great location near the bus stop, super comfy bed and the views from the window were spectacular. Good variety at the breakfast buffet and the spa was great.

-Nice hotel with big, high floor rooms and new furniture.
- I didn't see anithing old in the hotel (contrary to many other reviews)
- lots of parking place
- Wellness zone is very nice.
- Breakfast was also nice with all standard options, maybe even better than standard 3-star hotels breakfasts.
- Ski-bus stops close. It runs like once in a hour.
- Nice view from the room and balkony
- as other reviews tell, it is not so easy walk to the city, but it is realy nice view from rooms and we liked the location
- solid price/quality ratio
-Some stupid bookshelf above bed - ideal for kicking with head many times
- first night dinner was ok, but second night only two options from the same animal source. I would expect al least two meat kinds. Also something from fish or vegetarian would be nice.

Breakfast normal.
Staff is awful.
My husband was ill and sweating.
I asked to change the bedding sheets, they charged extra money and also yelled at me that the bed is all wet and we have to go home.
Actually it sound like this: "i check tomorrow, if bed wet, you go home". I mean, srsly?? They are even do not speak english properly. Instead of offering you any help, they just telling you have to leave.
Also the wellness zone, some woman just was sneakong around and yelling at us to take off the swimsuits, and teling us if we wont take them off, we have to leave wellness zone, even if we paid for it.
Disaster.

Good location, easily walkable into town. Quiet location, elevator, plenty of parking.
Pretext: My family operates a Bed & Breakfast and I travel frequently for work with premier status at many hotel chains. So take my expectations for friendly service with that in mind.
Rooms and hotel overall are very barren, no decoration (save for the hallway cabinets containing doll collections or the old deranged leather sofas that must have been put there from someone's residence when they upgraded their own furniture), old moldy smelling carpeted floors, breakfast buffet is uninspired, no healthy options, no fresh bread, one coffee machine that had a huge line every morning for the tiniest cup of coffee the world has ever seen (it was called a lungo, but - as you will see later - the penny pinching staff surely dialed back the amounts).
The first night I went to the bar and asked if the staff could fill up my 2 year old toddler's milk bottle with milk, which the staff very friendly tended to and even heated it up - no questions asked. I typically bring my own milk, but here I was a parent in need and happy to have my request fulfilled.
The second night the bar had already closed and I went to the front desk, which was tended to by the clerk and another woman who turned out to be the manager. She let me know in a disgruntled tone that I'm supposed to take care of the milk myself (translation: buy it in the store and have it in the room) - however, there are no refrigerators in their "Family Suit" that we had booked.
She took the bottle and walked away to heat up the milk with an annoyed attitude and came back handing me the bottle in passing, without looking at me, saying she needs to charge me for it (the equivalent of 2 Euros) and since I mentioned to her that the prior night I got milk at the bar she also charged me for that. The third night we purchased milk in the store and poured the remainder that we hadn't used into the drain upon our departure. In total, she added 4 Euros to a 550 Euro 3 night hotel stay.

Spa facilities
Rooms are very basic and tired but they're only for sleeping in. No boot room for storing ski equipment

very bad and impolite Service!

Breakfast was good, ski and snowboard storage area was great to have directly in the hotel. Clean room. Sauna area was very good but for an extra fee and prices are per hour.
No extras in the room. Dinner was a bit basic but this was apparently due to staff shortage when we were there (end of january).
