Unique and beautiful Villa

I recently spent three nights with my family at Villa Vinicia, and I can only say that we were absolutely delighted with the accommodation, amenities, and the hosts. The apartment was fully equipped, very clean, and tidy, with a beautiful view of the large garden featuring a pool and jacuzzi, which we had the pleasure of enjoying even though it was the end of October. The host was incredibly helpful and friendly. Before our arrival, she sent us a welcoming message and a video in fluent German, introducing herself and explaining the various services they offer, such as grocery shopping, breakfast delivery, massage, wine, chocolate, strawberries, bouquet of flowers with a note, and many other special requests you might have upon arrival, and also assistance with luggage, and directions to the nearest free parking nearby. The villa itself is impressive and majestic, over 300 years old, and its decor and details tell the story of times gone by. Stepping through the doorstep feels like being transported back in time. It was truly a unique experience for us. I highly recommend Villa Vinicia for anyone looking for a memorable stay!

The owners were a delight and nothing was too much trouble

Despite the villa being changed into apartments it very much kept its original feel of the building. Shopping could be done for your arrival and daily breakfast deliveries could be arranged . There was also an honesty shop for essentials

Un hébergement très agréable mais trop excentré.

L'appartement spacieux de 2 chambres dans une vielle bâtisse du 17 -ème siècle. Très calme. L'accueil très professionnel de Sonia qui nous a donné plein d'infos sur les sites à voir, les magasins pour faire les courses ainsi que les restos.

La situation géographique de la Villa, éloignée des sites que nous voulions voir, au centre du lac, comme BELLAGIO; avec le ferry rapide, il faut 45 minutes pour arriver au centre du lac et 1 h 30 pour aller à COME.

Das Apartment mit 3 Schlafzimmern und einem Wohn-Essbereich war sehr gemütlich.

Die Einrichtung und die Lage sind sehr gut!

Das Bett im Untergeschoss hat eine schlechte Matratze und ich habe Rückenschmerzen bekommen.

Recommend as very kid-friendly, not pet-friendly, good location

Liked: location and access to the lake, quiet at night, lovely jacuzzi, clean bathroom, small and practical kitchenette. Staff very helpful and friendly. Very nice looking room.

Disliked: noise from garden outside the door comes into the room like they are playing right next to the bed, doors are very difficult to open/close and aren’t totally sealed, no dog bed or food bowls provided even though it was advertised as pet friendly and they knew in advance a dog was coming, sofa bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable to sleep on. Parking was 3min away from hotel for free but difficult to find a free spot. Pool looks like cemented in the ground but its a standing one.

Location was good.

There was jacuzzi in small living room. No storage places anywhere. No free table space in kitchen or in bath room. No cleaning during the stay. Parking was difficult to find.

Wonderfully renovated Villa apartments, Sonia and Jimmy are so friendly and professional, we felt very welcomed even as a family of six. Great recommendations for food and wonderful beaches close by to swim in the lake. Definitely a place to visit more then once. We loved it!

There is not a single negative thing to say about this Villa, simply superb.

Our third stay and again everything’s perfect! Sonia is a very attent host. Domaso is a nice village with beautiful views at the lake (from up hill and from the little bay)

I highly recommend this apartment.

We had a nice stay at a historical apart-hotel Villa Vinicia. It is a very nice apartment and is located centrally. With this apartment it's very easy to reach every important places and for the restaurants as well as shopping centres. The owner Sonia is a very kind and helpful person. She helped us and gave some valuable tips to make our vacation beautiful. I highly recommend Sonia and Villa Vinicia. Nishantha Perera Switzerland

Low key place, genuine and perfect place to unwind. Kids enjoyed the pool. Apartment well equipped, quiet and comfortable. Sleepy old town location, with free parking nearby at the church.

Relaxing, friendly and authentic atmosphere

Villa Vinicia was a lovely place to stay. It was very comfortable and our room had everything we needed and more including a jacuzzi Bath and ambient lighting. Sonia and her brother were extremely helpful and friendly and booked restaurants for us ahead of our stay. Would recommend this hotel :)

Lovely apartment in a great location with a wonderful host.

Lovely comfortable apartment with good amenities. Beautiful garden and pool with plenty of shaded areas for eating and relaxing. Great location a few minutes from the lake, boat ferry and bus stop. Wonderful owner Sonia who was so lovely and helpful - offering advice, booking restaurants and allowing us to check out late.

The apartment was quite noisy. We could hear people in the street as if they were in our apartment. Though it was refreshing, we had another idea about the swimming pool, which was a set up Intex model.

Lovely luxurious room with incredibly friendly staff, good facilities in the room and really nice honesty shop for getting beer, snacks and soft drinks! Would recommend to anyone wanting a nice getaway to a quieter bit of lake como!

Just to be aware that the suite looks onto a common area so if it is busy it can be a little noisy if the area is busy but this was not a big problem at all!

Fabulous room/apt with jacuzzi bath indoors..Very clean, lovely outdoor area to relax also for breakfast or drink etc. Excellent friendly helpful host. Would highly recommend.
