My room was spacious, bright and airy as was the bathroom/shower. The room was well equipped with tea and coffee, ironing board, iron and hair dryer, there was also a table which I could use for working at
The bed was hard and not very comfortable

The hotel room was perfect for our family of 5, clean and housekeeping staff was polite and helped us on every occasion we asked, we would of expected more attention from front desk and bar staff, we needed to leave in a few occasions because they were taking long time to come to serve us. Other than that we were all good. The breakfast was amazing, with so many varieties to choose from, kids loved it. The swimming pool was also a plus for our stay, kids went to swim everyday, overall it was an excellent experience. In terms of food we went to a Turkish restaurant just 5 min from the hotel and we had the best dinner ever, kids loved the food to, the take away "best kebab in Plymouth" 4 min away was also excellent.
The restaurant down the stairs it not good at all, we went for dinner and I found a fly on the sauce that was supposed to go on top of my meat, obviously my apetite was gone, the staff give us a hint at the beginning but we didn't catch it, they said that they are a lot of other places around, good that we were not charged for that food at least, never went for dinner there. Plymouth it was great near seafront but we didn't like the shopping experience on city centre, lots of shops to choose from but a lot of drunk people around, walking with their drink in hand on the street, lots of police cars, looked like is a busy area, full of events, we faced some racists to but thanks God we handled that well. People don't know that foreigners can become British citizens to, that we work hard to be able to go on breaks with 3 kids, and no getting any benefits cause the dad works 7 out of 7 and earns enough for a week off a year, shame on those sitting their a.. and still complaining.

The location was brilliant. Right next to the venue. The beds were comfortable. The staff were absolutely lovely too.
The view from the room was awful but as we were there for only 1 night it didn’t matter too much. A functional room.

We really love the hotel this is the second time we have stayed
When we got to the hotel we were told the pool had broken a couple days ago. I had spoke to members of staff on the phone twice before we got there to arrange balloons but no one had told me which put a bit of a downer on the start of the day

The hotel is perfect for the Barbican area and is a large hotel with character. Check in was very easy and the rooms large and spacious. Breakfast service is excellent and you order at the table for cooked or help yourself to cerials and juice etc.
Parking was a nightmare due to it being a public one to. Its a very tight car park and i had to drive round 3 times to get a space.
Electric charger did not accept debit card either, so couldnt charge it.
The car park only would probably put me off going back there again.

Central location, easy access, good size room.
Has a car park which you pay on arrival, 2 nights in our case. There are evening functions held at the hotel, if you use the car in the evening there are no spaces on your return.

The peaceful quiet inviting hotel with lovely kind helpful staff and feel gutted we didn't have time for the beautiful complimentary swim & sauna! :)
Sorry but it could've been my fault but got easily lost for quite a while on the second floor, more signage needed!!!
