This hotel is a very good location if the purpose of your trip is relaxation. The pool is amazing and the surroundings are quiet. Also, the rooms are very well soundproofed. We had the room on the second floor with access to the bis terrace, which had an amazing panoramic view. The airconditioning also works really well. We stayed over Ferragosto (15. August) and the property offered a fairly priced amazing lunch - we would recommend taking advantage of it in case you stay over this holiday: amazing food (with vegetarian option)
Also the hotel was in general really well cleaned and tidy.
We would highly recommend to stay here. However, some little improvements here and there would make this property a “10”:
- some shadow areas around the pool like some beach umbrella
- sunbeds on the rooms with terrace on the second floor to also lay there
- the breakfast was fine, but with some more thought and variety it would be amazing

great value for the money, have good breakfast, air condition in the room, pool, parking, one min walking distance from the old town..
nothing, all was good

Gorgeous location, spectacular views over the verdant Umbrian hills. We love the village of Montone, excellent restaurants - we would recommend them all (Erba Luna, Osteria Antico, Verziere and more expensive but worth it: Locanda/Tipico). Best if you have a car but lots of hiking trails if you don’t.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is continental style- bread / pastries, cheese and ham, boiled eggs and cereals.
Rooms are comfortable, great night sleep on the mattresses and quiet. We had a premium room with a large terrace which we would recommend.
Some improvements could be made to update the rooms and improve the AC. There was no fruit at breakfast which would have been welcomed given Umbrian restaurant food leans heavily on meat, pasta and cheese.

We love the location & the big parking lot. easy walk to the village. spectacular view of the valley from our on the little deck. Pool looked beautiful although we did not use it. Francesco, in the bar was an absolute delight. We loved having coffee in the morning in the breakfast room! Everyone was so delightful. We had a lovely time.
we are not fond of the Italian flat hard pancake pillows. LOL

The location was perfect, close to exploriing the area. The pool, restaurant, room and helpful staff were wonderful.
I don't think anything needed much improvement, except to replenish the breakfast buffet after a large group is there and those following have a little selection.

Great location, lovely swimming pool. Excellent manager or receptionist.
Staff shortages in the restaurant meant things not going very well when we ate there. We were kindly given the meal for free due to the problems. Shortage
of sunloungers when busy.

Nice room, spacious and clean, just the phone to reception did not work and I did not find the TV controller, but the staff was helpful and pleasant, thanks
Coffee was not great, but overall breakfast was nice

not enough sunloungers round the pool

Nice view from the room. Clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly. Location is good, very short walk to town. Parking available.
Dinner service at the hotel restaurant was very slow. Took an hour for food to arrive and not everyone got their meal at the same time. Few selection of food. Fairly pricey for the quality. It would be better to go to the restaurants at the nearby town.

We had a great time at Fortebraccio - we stayed for 4 days for a wedding and felt very at home and taken care of. We were lucky to have a room on the 3rd floor with a fantastic view and a very large private balcony. The staff were all lovely and very helpful and the breakfast in the morning was an added bonus! It was roughly 33 degrees each day so we made use of the pool a lot and its a very quick walk into the town where we had some amazing meals.
The breakfast could have closed a little later than 09:30 - it meant we couldn't have a lie in if we wanted a coffee in the morning - there was also some construction going on but it wasn't too noisy.

Fab location, great room with terrace and amazing view. Friendly staff and the director couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely big swimming pool - particularly welcome as very hot weather during stay (+28 degrees) early June 22.
Air conditioning controlled from reception and they kept turning it off!

Breakfast was OK. An hour later on Saturday (and Sunday) than weekdays, and I only realized that when I went for breakfast shortly after 7 am. Had to depart without breakfast.

While the location is way up on the hill so it was difficult without a car to do simple small day trips, it was a great hotel with super friendly and super helpful staff and that made it all worth it to stay here. A great getaway for a totally relaxed vacation and stay among nature. Food was also amazing. A special mention to Christina and Julia for always being there with a big smile and helping us with every questions that we had. :)
No complaints at all.
