Nice size room. Fantastic sea views. Clean facility.

You had to pay extra for using beach chairs and towels and have to book them in advance. Staff was not super accommodating.

I found Hotel San Terenzo the last minute during a storm after several days of traveling. It was a lovely place to rest and enjoy the sea. The staff were kind and the breakfast was exceptional. I liked it so much I stayed an extra day.

Can't think of anything. I was afraid it would be loud as my room was right on the street, but it was quiet and restful.

Excellent location and service

The location was perfect. We could imagine that in the height of summer, it would be busy and a little too noisy for our liking. Going in October has been lovely and gentle with tranquil walking along the seafront to the restaurants in the evening. The sunset snd sunrise were perfect and having a seafront room with a balcony made it all that much more delightful. The room was very well laid out and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was amazing - hot and powerful. Breakfast was really lovely and we were really impressed with the choice for a gluten free diet (with one of us being a coeliac). Decent Schar bread on offer, not just breadsticks, crispbreads and rice cakes which seems to be majority of lots of other hotels.

Superb

I just loved my stay here with my family. I was there for 2 days of stay however it was such a pleasant experience that we extended our stay there for another 2 days. The staff is amazing and the Hotel Manager Lara is super pleasing lady. The hospitality is to next level where you would always have people available for your questions and support with a smile. For me this is a must place to stay when travelling La Spezia. The view of the room and the location brings you more energy and makes it more exotic experience for you and your loved ones.

I could not think of anything which i dislike.

We got absolutely the best room with a bed sea view and sunny terrace also overlooking the sea. It was great! The room looked better than in the photos.

great location - small boutique hotel

The location was very good. Rooms with sea view are quiet and the balcony is practically a few meters above the sea. The rooms are pleasant and quite well equipped. There is a 24h reception and the staff is friendly and speak fluent English, German and other languages in addition to Italian of course. Access to the beach is free for hotel guests.

I cannot understand why the hotel is declared as a 4star. In general I would class it as 3star. There are no special features or facilities except for a beach chair. The breakfast provided at the restaurant downstairs has a very limited selection. And especially now with the regulations due to COVID they should have more staff - there was only one waitress and she had no chance to keep up with serving people from the buffet when there were more than 3 tables occupied at the weekend for example. The beds have seen better days and in the autumn season they need to provide duvets or better blankets - although they did organize an extra blanket after our request.

Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Hot food at buffet breakfast was not replenished - empty at times. Didn’t expect the restaurant to be a separate operation not owned by hotel. - and menu was only in Italian and wait staff didn’t speak English. Menu should have been multilingual
