Lovely village pub & hotel. Our room had quirky decor, was lovely and spacious and had a fab shower. Breakfast was £15pp and included a continental buffet (with homemade yoghurt which was delightful) and then a cooked breakfast and a continuous stream of coffee and toast. Staff were friendly, parking was easy and would be lovely to sit out in the beer garden in summer
Not much to comment - about a 25/30 minute drive from Malham or Grassington but still a good spot for entry to the Dales

Could rate this place highly enough. Very spacious, attentive staff & food was delicious.
Pillows could be better in my opinion. Far to firm for me.

the refurbishment was excellent with tasteful fabric to the whole Inn.
In order to raise the profile of the accommodation I feel that a few areas could be addressed. The breakfast selection was limited (the inclusion of staple items in any hotel - eg porridge, toast, yoghourt). It may be trendy to be addressed by the waitresses as ‘you guys’ but it is definitely a no no with me. I don’t expect to be addressed as madam. but I am definitely not a guy. The waitresses were very uniformly dressed but the males could have made more effort and dressed perhaps in a shirt and trousers rather than a T shirt and denim jeans which would endorse the excellent cooking skills of the chef. This was the difference to me between staying in a pub and a country hotel.

The room was lovely and the shower room was amazing, really wonderfully furnished with a ceiling shower and light-up mirror. Food was really special, especially the desserts. Compliments to the chef! Staff always friendly and accommodating.
A previous visitor had used the coffee pods and put them back in the fresh coffee pod tray. Not really the fault of The Plough but it felt a little unclean because of this.

The Sunday Roast was beautiful, the beef was cooked perfectly.
My partner had the pork and it was very nice, and both dishes were very well presented.
The real open fire was lovely to sit by.
The omelette served at breakfast was very poor was flat and not fluffy and full like it should have been, definitely not a 3 egg omelette as stated on the menu.
We didn't get asked if we wanted toast so didn't get any.
It would be nice if the staff were dressed more presentable.
Dining room would benefit from blinds being opened in the morning to let in the light, when having breakfast.
The dining room floor was filthy, and needed a good clean.

we arrived on the Sunday and dinner was just about to finish, the chef offered us a roast if we were happy to sit straight down, which we were.

Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Lovely venue, great food.
Wish drinks had been available after the normal pub closing hours. But that's just nit picking really.

A bath in the room would have been great but the lovely shower made up for it

I have waited in restaurant 35min before waiter took any order but I did ask him can I order while he showed me the table not Evan a drink he said give me 1 min and waited 35min. Floor squeezing everywhere I could here it rooms next to me squeaking really cold and night as well. Burger was so dry like it was pre cooked in the morning or unfrozen from microwave. Not recommending this experience to anyone

the property was beautifully decorated and although it was modern decor it didn’t detract from the age and situ of the building. We stayed in Burton Constable room and it was lovely and warm and the shower was fab. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.
To be fair there wasn’t anything I didn’t like about our stay there.

Our stay at the Plough was everything we wanted, very welcoming and friendly staff with excellent customer service.
Our room was beautiful, with a bath as requested, drinks in the bar were great with excellent choice, including their own gin - which was delicious!
We chose it because the menu and food looked amazing and we wanted a nice night away for the evening and it exceeded out expectations. The food was beautiful from starter to dessert and excellent choice of wine.
Would highly recommend and we will be returning in the future!!
