A good option to stay at a reasonable price in punta del este

It is well located and at an affordable price in punta del este. The staff was nice.

HOTEL CERRADO POR REFORMAS

Nada, no pudimos ver nada porque el hotel estaba cerrado por reformas

Pésimo! Llegamos en la fecha pactada, habiendo realizado días antes el checkin web del hotel y el hotel estaba CERRADO! De casualidad que había un empleado trabajando en las reformas que nos contacto para derivarnos a otro hotel. Lo mismo sucedió con una pareja que estaba saliendo el hotel cuando llegamos. La persona le hecho la culpa a Booking por no avisar, a lo que le comentamos que hicimos el checkIn en la web de ellos y no dijo mas nada.

Good location, expensive but basic

Good location Decent spread for breakfast The garden of the hotel is attractive looking Helpful and friendly staff

Mouldy fruit at breakfast and dirty plates Room had a funny smell because of the dirty fridge and bathroom had no ventilation Radiator was dusty Hotel plays loud music, repeating the same few tracks Hotel staff need to enforce and regulate quiet hours

La atención de todo el personal. La piscina climatizada y el desayuno en el jardín.

En realidad no puedo decir que algo no me gustó. Sólo mencionar la habitación un tanto pequeña, sobre todo el baño.

Habitación cuádruple espaciosa. Dividida Preciosa sala de juegos para niños.

Si bien habíamos consultado, y nos habían confirmado, NO hay desayuno sin gluten apto para celíacos.

El desayuno muy bueno. La ubicación del hotel excelente a pasos de la playa Mansa y a 3 cuadras de la playa Brava. Muy cerca del centro y de los comercios.

Not as portrayed - staff was great but the room was rundown and not worth the money.

The location was great - just a couple of blocks from the Rambla on the harbor side of the peninsula. The staff was very friendly.

The room, beds and bathroom were very dingy - not at all what their photos show. The shower was quite small and the water never got warm. There was mildew in the shower and the whole place was not really clean. It felt like a mediocre hostel but for $140 per night.

We did not stay. Entered the room and left.

The staff was nice and they understood our complaint about the room itself. We did not get charged for leaving, and I appreciated it. Not all hotels take that into consideration, but it most definitely did not satisfy our needs/ expectations.

We were given a ground floor room for my daughters safety... the room was internal located next to the air conditioning fans that were really noisy. The room was dark, damp, you could spell the humidity in the walls, the beds and structure needed an urgent update. The room was tiny, the bathroom was old and it had fungus on the tile. The pictures of the publication do not reflect the actual room we got at all. Unfortunately, we left in less than 30 minutes and went to a near by hotel.

Excelente custo benefício

Atendimento excelente, funcionários prestativos e educados, hotel com ótima localização, ótimo custo benefício.

Poderiam ter mais opções no café da manhã, ou até mesmo variar durante a semana. Outro ponto importante, é a questão de ter cortina como box no banheiro, atrapalha muito no banho.

Good stay with family, good relation price comfort and nice location

Good breakfast, confortable rooms with a proper hotwater on bathroom and minifreezer to use. Friendly staff and fast checkinout. Parking free close to hotel

Excellent hotel and hospitality!

I booked for 11 days and was surprised at how comfortable I felt. I never tired from the great breakfast. The location is excellent. I needed to stay another six days in Punta del Este and immediately booked again. The entire staff were so attentive and kind. Thank you all for everything!

Wonderful hotel with the BEST staff!!

The staff was excellent. Damian and Mariana at the reception welcomed me so amicably. They were attentive and very helpful with all my questions. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. The servers kept the tables clean and the buffet area with food. The bed was so comfortable and the room always impeccably clean.

I accidentally gave this hotel a poor review when I stayed for eleven days. Obviously it was a mistake because I booked six more days! I thought I was reviewing another hotel. I would like booking.com to remove the previous review as it is definitely not true. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Close to the Bus Terminal and to both Playa Brava and Playa Mansa. Good value in an otherwise Super Pricey city

Centrally located and a 6min walk to the Bus terminal. Hotel was clean but a bit dated. Decent breakfast, wifi worked well. Beds were comfy, air conditioning and hot water worked well. Good for a two night stay

Had an amazing stay at Hotel Ajax!

Had an amazing stay! The location was great - very close to the bus terminal, the beach, the Main Strip. The staff was great, always saying hello every time you pass by them. Our room was a very spacious one! The breakfast was simple - fruit, toast, eggs & some sweet tarts. They also provided beach towels for the pool & the beach. All in all, had an amazing time at hotel Ajax !

The only issue we had was at a couple of points there was no cold water when trying to shower. That also caused issues with flushing the toilet. It did however work the following day. Other than that, no issues at all.

Great location, clean, functional and excellent service. The room was small, but comfortable, if staying longer I would request a bigger room but we only stayed one night and it was adequate.
