staff, atmosphere, history, breakfast (even it was all with pork and not much for vegetarian), clean warm room, nice deserts in bistro
water in shower was going all over the bathroom, dinner in bistro was not bad but served duck was very undercooked, condition of castle, in winter time almost no activities around

Interesting property and gardens. The Bistro dinner was very good. The drive to and on property was beautiful. Wish we had a longer stay to see more amenities. The nearby beach was great.
Bistro wait staff was mixed. Most provided excellent service but our main waitress seemed to have an attitude of some sort. Our room neighbors were an elderly couple who came to the room at midnight and talked loudly for awhile, though this is no fault if the hotel. It was warm during our stay but the room air did not work.

beautiful property, amazing grounds, delicious food
it’s strange that they don’t do tastings of their wine

All servings were excellent (used on bistro and ‘stalden’.
Very service minded / helpful staff - even provided shelter for our racing bikes.
Beautiful surroundings in and outdoors.
Really small things:
Some issues with EV charger (but made it work).
Bikes available should also provide helmets.

The setting was beautiful & the building historic but tastefully renovated so up to date. The food - dinner & breakfast were superb.
An up charge for a bottle of wine brought to our room seemed high.

the room was very nice, big and clean. the gourmet dinner and wine parring was an excellent experience, I would highly recommend it.
the breakfast was a disappointment, the fried egg was cold and the cheese looked like it had been sliced hours ago.

This is a characterful historic property that’s set up to be welcoming and extremely comfortable. It’s in a gorgeous setting with lots of walks in an unusual landscape, beautiful light and nice beaches. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the food is lovely and, in brief, there’s nothing not to like.

I did miss a real bar, with some low music, great drinks, there is so many great places to place it.
If not possible. 24 hours reception where guest could buy snacks, drinks, beer etc.
Location was great. The castle invites to walk around.
Very cosy bistro, open kitchen, great staff.
New rooms very modern, perfect.
We would like to visit again.

Historical building. New rooms are nice. Delicious food. Beautiful nature within a few kilometers, shaped by the ice during the ice age

Beautiful, stylish place with friendly staff and excellent food. We had a beautiful evening on the terrace and a wonderful morning with a walk and an amazing breakfast. We can really recommend this place.
A hotel allowing dogs should allow dogs in the restaurant, as dogs don't like to be left alone in new places.

The place is beautiful and very warming. The restaurant has amazing food and the service is amazing
It should be clearer that you might not stay in the castle. We booked thinking we would sleep in the castle and have a "royalty" night. We got a discount because we were not expecting to stay in the outside anyways, great staff!
