Nicht noch einmal so eine Unterkunft!

Check-In einfach niemand da gewesen, 30 min. draußen im Regen gewartet bis jemand die Türe aufgemacht hat!

Location.

Could not lock door! Bad odeur in bathroom. Very meager breakfast. No parking or area to stop outside the hotel to unload luggage. What is the purpose of a loose safe placed on the floor ?

Great location, rooms need sound proofing.

Location is superb, next to the gondola and in the main square.

The walls in the hotel are paper thin. This disturbed our sleep each night as you could hear running water from toilet flushing from the room next door almost as if you were in the bathroom! The room fittings are very basic.

Very good

We have always stayed at the Edelweiss. It seems that since Covid the standard has been dropped but we still consider it a lovely place to stay with friendly staff. And its very centrally situated.

We had a few tears in our curtains in the room. the bathrooms was quite smelly.

Don't do this to yourself

In my first room, theres was a shower door missing and broken glass in the shower. As I wanted to change rooms, I had to go and ask 3 times at the bar if they could call someone for the reception. This took about 30 minutes. The new room I got had a broken table in it. The alley to the rooms is also very narrow and dark and they only installed curtains to cover up where they store their cleaning devices. After returning with some take out food, they checked me if I really was a guest, like I was very suspicious to them. Worst hotel that I ever stayed in and hard to get any worse.

Avoid.

The bed was quite comfortable. The view was nice if you ignore the ugly building.

The hotel was hard to find and they supplied no map or guidance without asking. It was unloved and run-down. The tiny room smelled musty. The walls were paper-thin. The carpet looked like a goat had been butchered on it. Pretty much everything was broken or very badly repaired. We paid €111 for one night, and if it was half the price we would have been ripped-off. Avoid.

Superb

Hotel in the centre of Auron. Parking in front of the hotel. Nice renovated room. We had family room. Balcony with view on mountains. Nice staff. All easy.

Breakfast for 13€ per person seems to us a bit expensive.

Nice staff but property needs major updating.

Nice staff and very helpful. Great location in the heart of Auron. Couldn't be any more central for access to all amenities. Spa facilities were a nice touch. Good breakfast.

The property basically needs a €1m refit. Rooms are old, small and tired. Bathrooms are only just acceptable.
