Lovely apartment close to Old Town

We had a 3 night stay. Lovely room next to Old Town. Nice terrace to sit out at night. Our hosts were really friendly and informative. The facilities were fairly new and very clean. There was a supply of tea and coffee provided as well and plenty of toiletry items. We found the room very quiet and peaceful. Would recommend a stay here.

Villa Ragusa Vecchia could not have been better. Location is excellent for visiting the old city and walking about town. If you Our hosts were the nicest and most accommodating we have ever encountered. Almost forgot to mention the little shop next door selling focaccia sandwiches ... yummy!

Its just a small nit ... the biggest disco in the old city is across the street and you can hear the bas thumping at night. It did not bother us and we slept soundly.

Everything was perfect. A great location, a great property and great hosts. The room was tight, but well appointed with good options for luggage, clothes and a great bath facility. Comfortable bed. The hosts help facilitate our pick up for a Cruise. Helped store our luggage, so we could explore more and not have to deal with the luggage. Great hosts

The host was knowledgeable and friendly throughout our four night stay. We really had no idea how great the location was to the several events we attended in Dubrovnik; it was a huge help to us as this was our first trip to the city.

A minor upgrade in toiletries. For example, larger size of shower soap bar.

The host was very friendly and very helpful! The location was amazing, literally opposite the city walls. On the same street as about three restaurants and very close to a bakery and supermarket. Quiet for bedtime. There is a car park just meters away for a quick stop (6.60 euros per hour) but the owner was so helpful for us to find longer term parking.

The apartment was very clean but the floor could’ve even cleaner, everything else spotless and I wish there would’ve been somewhere to hang damp beach towels etc maybe a rail or some hooks.

They arranged our car from the airport and upon arrival showed us the room and a map of town with suggestions. The location is absolutely perfect by Ploce Gate and near the cable car. Comfortable clean rooms, would recommend to anybody!

Loved this place - great room, location and service!

This little place was in the perfect location- right outside the Ploce gate. Our room was large, clean and comfortable with a small private terrace but also next to the main terrace which we used frequently. Small kitchenette for snacks, drinks. Bathroom was small but the shower was sizeable and great! Mia was so friendly, professional and helpful.

The only issue was that you could hear noise at night from nearby restaurants and bars. It wasn’t overwhelming and I’m pretty sure anywhere in a good location to Old Town would have the same.

Great place to stay with everything in easy reach.

Miko and Mia were great hosts - kind,helpful and discrete. The apartment was perfectly positioned just steps away from the Old Town allowing you to get ahead of the crowds and enjoy leisurely evenings a short walk from the apartment. It is also well positioned for the two beaches and harbour to get the ferry to lovely Lokrum. Good local bars and supermarket very near too. Private and communal terraces perfect for sundowners. Fabulous stay in stunning Dubrovnik.

The best location! Just outside the plos gate with a small climb to get there. Brother and sister own the place and take great pride in making sure the guests feel welcome and comfortable. The terrace is so nice and you are away from the crowds. Close to great restaurants and Banje beach.

Lovely hosts, excellent location

Location was excellent and room was very clean. Hosts were super nice, pleasant, and very helpful. Close to several bars and restaurants (but rooms were silent, no noise to disturb sleep). Also it was easy to access with suitcases.

The room we booked was quite dark, but it was not a problem for us personally.

Helpful hosts and great location. It has a terrace with amazing views to enjoy breakfast or a beer there at nigth. The bus connecting with bus station and the shuttlebusser bus ro the airport stop 150m far from there.

Beds were not very comfortable. Room was very Dark during the daytime.

4 days in Dubrovnik

The property is near the city walls, the room was clean, spacious, with access to a balcony with direct view to the city walls. Although the check in starts at 14.00pm, our host prepared the room for us earlier, as we arrived at 10.00 am. Mia, our host, was and is more than nice and helpfull! A big plus ia that we can enjoy both the old city and the sea from the balcony! Manny restaurants nearby.

We really enjoyed our room and our stay, so there is nothing that we didn t like.

We liked the property, location and friendliness of our host Mia. The property is in a fantastic location to the old town. We had a studio with its own private balcony but also the use of the shared balcony. The apartment had its own kitchenette which was very useful for breakfast. The balconies look onto the wall of the old town and towards the sea. Towels and rubbish are changed every other day but you also have plenty of spare toiletries and towels. Overall we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this property. Thank you Mia. Glenn and caroline

just perfect!

Amazing location right at the wall of the old town with extremely friendly and helpful owners. They gave us many great recommendations around which restaurants to choose, where to walk the dogs, which beaches to check out etc etc. The flats are clean and have everything you need. There is also a nice Focaccia Place right in front where you get great (iced) coffee and breakfast (could even take it all up to our rooftop terasse). Within a few steps you reached everything by foot and could explore the whole old town. Whenever you wanted to take a break you could just walk back to the room and rest before heading out for dinner at night. There is also a beach 5-10 mins by foot (no entry free). The owners are extra pet-friendly, always reachable via whats app and they even offered us a free parking nearby (you must ask early enough as spots are limited). We just had a perfect few days in Dubrovnik also thanks to Villa Ragusa Vecchia. Would always book it again. Nothing to complain ~ 10 of 10 :)

Dubrovnik at your feet, sweet sleep, starry night at terrace - who could ask for more!

The owners are wonderful, pleasant and very helpful. We got ourselves locked out and they were there to help us within five minutes although it was after 10 p.m. on a weekend! The location is amazing, you are literally 3 min from the Old City, and the terrace (shared!) is this ultimate dream-come-true of sitting sipping wine, coffee, and watching the Adriatic Sea. The apartment is perfect in terms of size - the bedroom is a big bed, a very nice size of bathroom with a walk-in shower. Lovely smelling shower gel provided! The small living room is just what you would need, a small sofa bed for seating 2-3 persons (also good to sleep one person without pulling open), a kitchen with everything you need (in addition to utensils, also spices, salt, oil, sugar, coffee). We are coming back!!!! Restaurants 30-50 m away - GustaMe (see the photo of the view from the restaurant) and Chow - both with amazing views of the Old Town Gate of Ploce. Shop, tourist office (currency exchange, postcards, etc.) and bakery 60-80 m away - literally all you need! Oh, I forgot - bus station-taxi ride 50 m away!

It would be good to alert guests that you cannot reach the property all the way by car. There is a short (maybe 50m?), but steep uphill to the door, so be ready if you are carrying heavy luggage (but summer is coming, who needs anything heavy anymore:D). However, for Dubrovnik, this is NOTHING compared to the hundreds of stairs some guests have to climb to reach their accommodation. So just a suggestion for the host web page, NOT A NEGATIVE CRITICISM AT ALL! (see the photo of the entrance to property and view of downhill to the main road)
