Clare was one of the best hosts we’ve encountered. Her communication was efficient and timely both before and during the stay. The apartment is tastefully appointed and immaculately clean. The little touches made it feel like we were at a BnB, where we were pampered. The location is an easy walking distance to every site Stratford has to offer its guests. Thank you!

We stayed at Arden House as a family for 16 nights. The location of the house was great as it was a 5 minute walk to Shakespeare’s Birthplace and the centre of town. That being said, the house is located on a very busy street and sleeping with the window open would be impossible. The property comes with a parking pass but we rarely found a spot to park on Mansell Street after our day trips and had to pay for parking at the lot across the street. The house includes all amenities and we found everything we needed for cooking a meal at home. Pictures of the backyard should be updated as they are misleading. This space needs some TLC as the patio furniture was old and faded and the planters were neglected (dead shrubs). The best feature about this property is its close proximity to the town centre which puts everything within walking distance.

Beautiful and has everything you need
This delightfully appointed house had everything we could possibly need to enjoy our stay. Cozy and modern at the same time, we were truly comfortable and would return again in a heartbeat. Thank you!!

Great base for exploring
Had a great stay. House is the perfect size for two couples. Very well equipped and everything has been well thought out. Seamless entry and parking. (in the side road) Although not always easy to get a space if you go out for the day as there are limited spaces.
Great outdoor space for relaxing after a hard day sightseeing. Perfect location for walking around Stratford, and well positioned for the cotswolds by car.
Only downside was the traffic noise at the front of the house which means you can’t have the window open. A fan is provided but it’s as noisy as the traffic.

Great short break
Can’t fault this lovely cottage. Great location and were lucky with excellent weather so enjoyed some delicious leisurely lunches with wine in the sun and just a short stroll home!

A nice break in this lovely property
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. It had all amenities you would need for a short or a long break. We particularly enjoyed the patio and the beautiful bathroom. The beds were very comfortable, and the TV set up even included access to NETFLIX. We struggled to find a parking place on Mansell St, so we left the car on the large parking nearby, which was not too expensive (£20 for 72h). The House is on a big road; however, it is also very central, so every interesting part of the town was at a walking distance. We also discovered a large shopping centre 10 mins away by foot, including M&S Food etc.

Cosy and comfortable
We enjoyed our stay. It was cosy and comfortable. It had everything we needed and the owner was very helpful and supportive.

Lovely stay
Very clean, closely located to the centre of Stratford. Free parking in the next street a real bonus. Busy main road, but good double glazing. Very helpful owner.

Very near the shops. You do not require transport to go to town.
Once we had selected our dates from that moment everything was simple and straight forward.
Clare was always available for any enquiries we had. Cottage is very comfortable and every thing is provided for at the cottage.

Wonderful Stay
I suppose in these post-COVID days we have to address the most important things - and the care these hosts put in to keeping the property clean and safe for guests is incredible. They advertise that, and it was one of the main things that made me book with them. That, and a totally lovely house. For a start, brilliant communication pre-visit, easy and workable non-contact check-in, and a sparkling clean house when you enter. The house is lovely, elegant, and well-equipped - especially the kitchen, for those who like to cook. The location is awesome - five minutes walk from the centre of town. Another bonus is that the booking comes with a permit that allows you to park literally 30 seconds around the corner, so you can wander in to town or drive out and explore the beauty of Warwickshire at your leisure, and without stress. For the mundane - bed was so comfy, bathroom lovely, and the overall decor, superb. I look forward to visiting again.

Great short break
Although possibly one of the wettest breaks we’ve ever had, we had a lovely few days in Stratford-upon-Avon. The house was spotlessly clean, warm and ideally located. Thoughtful touches of milk in the fridge, coffee and tea were most appreciated. We enjoyed the handy town centre setting, making popping back for lunch a breeze - especially given the horrendous rain. Would definitely recommend and stay here again in the future.

Delightful mini break
Have just stayed at this property with my husband and daughter for a short break. It is clean, tidy, comfortable and equipped with all you would need. It is ideally situated as most places you would want to go are within easy walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely break away with my family
We had a lovely time in Stratford with our 2 young children. The property is located in a great position to access all of Stratford-Upon-Avon's attractions.
If we come back to Stratford again we would happily stay in this great property again.

Fantastic place, perfect location
Great place, comfortable and has everything you need for a great holiday home. Nice and clean. Kids loved it and the location was perfect for walking around and exploring Stratford. Parking was easy and it was east to access the major attractions in the area like Warwick castle, Mary Arden fram and Hathaway House. Highly recommend

Comfortable, warm home, great location
Really enjoyed the house. Great location just a few blocks from the centre of town. Super facilities in the house, everything you need. Furnished well and very cozy. Only negative was the second bedroom was a little tight for 2 teenage boys.

Great Little Getaway
A cozy little place that is conveniently located was a nice getaway for the Christmas Holiday. The location allowed us to walk everywhere we wanted to visit in town including the local tourist attractions, shops, and dining. We planned to prepare most of our meals at the cottage as we weren't sure of the availability of restaurants on Christmas. The kitchen was well equipped, but a little bit challenging for large holiday meal preparations. Claire was kind enough to leave us milk for tea upon our arrival!
Overall, a very nice place and we enjoyed our stay very much! If we visit the area again, we would gladly stay here once again.

A hidden gem in a treasure chest of a town!!!!!
The whole package from start to finish was first class.Initial contact with Claire, the booking of the cottage, communication leading upto our stay and of course the cottage itself.........a real home from home with beds to die for and with a real all round cosy feel. A spotlessly clean cottage with a fully equipped kitchen with every utensil imaginable. Ideally located with a two minute walk into town and comes with the all important parking permit which allows you to park literally five seconds from the property. All in all a real 10 out of 10!!!!
Thanks again Claire........"We will be back"
