Trevlig stad, och bra förbindelse med båt till Portofino, totalt en mycket trevlig upplevelse.

Bra område, centralt , nära till allt. Trevlig personal.

Ingen hiss, stället är inte renoverat, så allt är gamla möbler sängar toalett, minikök. Borde ha ett riktigt täcke, nu tunn filt, duschen ej rengjord i kanterna och även hårstrån fanns. Väldigt lyhört. Ej prisvärt, men priserna överlag är för höga i området.

Excellent location and very comfortable bed. Good value for the are.

Payment is cash only and the host of the property has a lot of questions and rules. The property is quite dated.

Perfection! Clean and perfect for a short or long stay!

The property was very clean (our rooms were cleaned daily). The rooms were spacious, with a big bathroom. They were kind hosts, offering great advice for our day to day adventures. They were so accommodating and perfect location between the main streets and train station.

Authentisches, herzliches Hotel

Die Unterkunft ist einfach aber sehr authentisch und mit viel italienischem Charme. Die Gastgeber waren super nett und stets zuvorkommend. Sie gaben uns gute Tipps und halfen bei Fragen weiter. Es wird Deutsch, Englisch, Französisch und Italienisch gesprochen. Die Lage ist toll (direkt bei der Altstadt). Die Covid Massnahmen wurden gut umgsetzt. Das Frühstück am morgen ist sehr preiswert und vielfältig. Vor allem der Cappuccino war hervorragend! Das Zimmer wurde täglich sehr sauber geputzt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Man hört den Strassenlärm bei offenen Fenstern, was uns aber nicht gestört hat. Sonst alles super.

Prezzo. Posizione. Appartamento caldo e con tutte le cose richieste. Gentilezza e cortesia dei gestori.

Causa pioggia forte, ci siano trovati in camera qualche formica, ma niente di imprescindibile.

Beautiful

The property was in a great location in the city centre. It was clean with great facilities, and a comfortable bed. Perfect size for 2 people. The hosts even left a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival :)

A true representation of how hospitality should be.

The location was perfect! Only a 5 minute walk from the beach and 2 mins from the city centre! The hosts were incredible. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable and gave us advice about things to do and logistics for our trip. We had a medical emergency and they used their personal connections to find us a doctor and personally walk us to them. They also made us a full free breakfast and delivered it to our room early the next morning before our taxi (that they ordered for us) came to pick us up!

I will definitely be back one day to this accomodation. Favourite in Europe so far

I stayed here with my friend and we are from Brisbane. We absolutely loved our stay at this property, it was our favourite by far out of all the places we’ve stayed in Europe. The hosts are so welcoming and kind and it feels like you’re staying with family. The rooms are clean and well kept and the hosts helped us with any questions we had around bus time tables or ordering taxis. They were so kind and just made us happy to be around.

The Sabini family were so welcoming and helpful. They went out of their way to give us advise on travel to and from their accommodation to keep us on track. The room was great and was in a great location to reach everything we needed in Santa and beyond!

Great staff and location to be out and about

The staff is lovely and located in a convenient location, 10min walk from points of interest including the train station.

The bathroom linens are thin and rough, but the bed linens are comfortable. There is no a/c, but includes a fan. I stayed when it was a high of mid 70s F, and it was comfortable yet leaning towards the warm side. I would reconsider in warmer months.

Exceptional

The owners are lovely people that gave us great guidance on restaurants to eat. The location is outstanding. 10 minutes from the train, 5 minutes from the bus to Portofino, lots of restaurants and mini markets around, quiet street, and a lovely mini garden to have breakfast. I will recommend to all my clients.

Excellent location. Owner helpful. Easy walk to restaurants and promenade. We enjoy local eateries and good value for money. We found Spaghetti Garibaldi great for fresh pasta. We had pesto tagliatelle, ravioli and 1/2 craft of their white vino, all for $25 euro. For pizza we stumbled across Pizzeria Dal Baffo. Up there with the best pizza we ever had. Staff spoke limited English and the place was packed with locals, this added to our memorable experience.

Bed was uncomfortably hard for us.

A real welcome and gem of a place

Friendly owners. They were so kind and helpful but not intrusive. We loved our accommodation and enjoyed the view from the balcony with a glass of wine or two after a day of sightseeing. It was a short walk from the train station and there was a regular bus to Portofino from the centre.Our room was cleaned daily and toiletries were provided.Nice neighbourhood right in the centre and what a gem Santa Marghuerita is.
