We loved everything about the property. It was clean, spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The staff were amazing, especially Maria at the reception, who was very helpful and friendly.
If you want to stay away from the crowded areas in Santorini, this is the place for you. Rent a car and enjoy a peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle.

Room size and price (if all issues was resolved)
The breakfast was always cold
The wifi in the room never worked in 1 of the 2 bedrooms in the suite.
The aircon would randomly stop working the entire duration of the stay
The jacuzzi was under the recommended 37 degrees and had a light missing that was part of the attraction for the hotels usp.
After mentioning to staff regarding these issues they seemed like they could not care less and only resolved the light the following day. For all the other issues they made random nonsensical excuses and never resolved them.

Brand new hotel, the view from the room for the sun rises is amazing! Is 5 min away driving from Fira, and there's a lot of shops and restaurants. The staff is amazing! Jessy was an awesome host, she gave us nice tips for places and restaurants and things to do! Breakfast was good! And in general everything was amazing! I will 100% comeback to this hotel! I wish I could upload the video I made but their Instagram is enough! Check it out!

World best receiption, especially Lola, who provided us nicest welcome with best service I have ever experienced. Just like a friend has been waiting for you.
The best location for sun rise. And this experience is definitly a bonus for visiting Santorini.
We've got suite with hot tub and sea view.
We love everything we've got there.
And realises that sun set with beautiful view on Santorini is almost a every day experience. But sunrise is really not.
We've got lucky to experience one beautiful sunrise from the 4 days we are there. And it is right from your balcony. You can even choose to experience that from your hot tub. Can you imagine? !
If you are an A type, highly recommende !
It is not far from island's busy area, but we need to take taxi back and forth. The road condition is not walking friendly , narrow, sharp turns and steep. Hence, it can be a bit costly for transportation.

Amber Light Villas was beautiful, the staff were amazing - especially Lola, and the facilities were great.

Suite with private pool was amazing, friendly staff, spacious rooms, and good breakfast.
Hotel is located far away from the market area, so difficult to commute until you hire a car. In the entire suite (living room+ bedroom) there is a single AC, which is not affective at all. Shower water is sea water which has not been desalinated well, leaving skin and hair very dry.

Everything was amazing from the kind and
helpful staff to the gorgeous views. This hotel is beautiful. Thank you Lola for allocating a spacious room and the surprise when we checked in. The Private Pool was perfect! We had a vegetarian in the group so thank you to the chef who kindly made a special arrangement at breakfast.
Nothing - I am well travelled and this hotel is simply up there with the best.

extremely friendly and clean
the staff treated their guest like they were VIP
great views
Pool wasn’t heated but that’s normal everywhere.
the bar drinks were over prized.
needs to upgrade their entertaining systems.

We had a room with a private pool with a great view of the Aegean Sea. It was a perfect location for watching the sun rise and it provided a great deal of privacy. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.
The property sits on a very steep hill, like many of the roads on Santorini. Our small European rental car barely had enough power to make it to the parking lot. We would have to pull off the main road with a lot of speed and hope it would propel us up the long, winding road to the hotel parking lot. if renting a car, get something with some power.

incredibly clean, huge amounts of space, and the staff were fantastic helping with our trip. 24 hour reception made everything very easy to sort with staff aswell, some people might say it’s in a bad location but it’s everything Santorini has to offer with some peace and quiet when you need it after the crowds in Fira and Oia. you definitely need transport to get around but it’s located on a link road and is 5 minutes to Fira and 25 mins to Oia very easy to travel to and from. breakfast selection was pretty good to. great Piña Coladas from the bar 👌🏼
not anything to complain about

The area was so quiet and peaceful, but also close enough to travel anywhere else on the island. The reception staff, Lola and Maria were just incredible throughout the stay, helping book different trips and always so friendly, they made the stay truly exceptional!
quite a steep walk to get to the main cities, and only small cars could easily fit along the roads, I should have rented an atv

Amber Lights is a centrally located property, in a more quiet and comfortable part of Santorini which allows you access to many of the more busy and tourist areas. The property is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean. The service and attention to detail is fantastic! Lola and Maria at the front desk are well informed, helpful, sweet, and so kind.
i wouldn’t say there is anything I didn’t like, I would simply suggest that if you are exploring places to stay, you should absolutely take into account the need for a car for this location.

Staff was lovely and amenities were on point.
The room was a bit noisy at night and not that well isolated.
It was also a bit far from the cities.

Lola is just amazing! She went away and beyond to make our stay the most comfortable possible. She booked a restaurant and made sure we would get a great table. She is efficient and very friendly and professional. Nothing is too much trouble for her. She is the soul of this place!!! The hot tub is great and the hotel is stilish and very clean!!! Very comfortable and modern with a chill vibe!
You need car or scooter/atv to get anywhere. The restaurant wasnt available therefore either you order takeaway or have to go all the way to the city centre in you own transport or get a taxi (very expensive). Make sure you book transfer in advance from the airport othewise the taxi drivers take advantage of you (we paid 35€ for a 5min journey)!!

The location is pretty far from anywhere but Lola arranged taxis and quad bike rentals without any fuss at all

Staff at Reception, size of room.
Restaurant not open, pool not in use.

The room was enormous. It must have been the bridal suite or something. Probably 1500 square feet. Actually four rooms and a private outdoor patio with private pool and indoor hot tub. Staff was great, breakfast very good. Great views, but we later learned that caldera views (other direction off the island) are more interesting.
Very isolated with a three mile hike into town. Fairly exepensive cab ride, too (20-25 Euros each way). This is set up as a getaway spa, so if you are looking for someplace where you can easily get to bars and restaurants, it's not good. We would have liked staying in Fira better. This is probably our fault for not researching better. Also, neither our private pool nor the main pool was heated. We were having a colder than normal May, so they weren't usable by the faint hearted like us. It's probably too expensive to heat them with fuel costs on the island, but it was a disappointment.

Hotel had a very good breakfast with lots of fruits and local foods as well. The scenery had a perfect sunrise which looked spectacular from the hot tube. Also the staff was super kind and professional!
Beds had some kind of cover beneath the sheets to ease up the cleaning what made them a bit sweaty, a minor thing but maybe the only downside on our trip. Location is in the middle of the hill so a car is a must to rent.

We had an amazing time at Amber Light Villas, we booked a sea view room with a hot tub which really exceeded our expectations. The room was massive, very clean, spacious shower and bathroom and we just couldn't get enough of the hot tub.
From the second we arrived to our departure, the staff and management were so lovely and accommodating. Anything we needed from a taxi, tourist information, hiring an ATV or just asking how our day went, nothing was off the cards for them.
I will miss sitting out for breakfast every morning as the sun rose into the sky over an amazing view of the sea.
Already looking forward to my next visit back!

The rooms are beautiful and the balcony hot tub was fantastic. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You are very secluded here not like other parts of the Island where hotels are overlooked. You aren’t in a main town so do need to get cabs but we felt it was well worth it as the hotel for the quality is great value for money.

The hotel is situated on the east side of the caldera, which I didn’t know at first but came to really appreciate. It is away from all of the noisy tourists, especially now that cruise ships are coming back to Santorini. The room was amazing and had stunning views of everything around. I loved waking up to the sunrise, which is probably better than the sunset in my opinion. The hot tub on the patio put it over the top. Harry and Alexander were great to talk with during drinks and dinner. Service was excellent and the hotel staff made sure that everything we needed was taken care of. We ate dinner at the hotel twice because it was just so good. Highly recommend the Feta in Pie Crust - it was phenomenal.
Nothing, it was excellent all around.

Amazing Hotel, great and very nice staff ! The remote location of the hotel is particularly enjoyable if you are in Santorini to relax and chill while avoiding touristic crowds (which can be quite annoying in summer). The hotel restaurant is also quite lovely with tasty local meals.
The first time we had stayed at the Amber Light Villas, the hotel provided its clients with a (van) shuttle service to drive from the hotel to anywhere on Santorini and the other way around. Considering the hotel is remotely located and not all clients desire to rent a vehicle during their stay, the fact that this shuttle service is no more was disappointing because that compels you to always book in advance for a taxi to go/back each time you move (even for a simple restaurant at Imerovigli) which (i) considerably increases your taxi expenses and bearing in mind that (ii) during full touristic season, taxis may be very hard to come by (sometimes 40 min waiting) and finally (iii) the trip back from Imerovigli to the hotel cannot be made safely on foot.
Secondly, the staff/personel is absolutely amazing and taking into account all the very diversified nature of works/services theyt all are involved in to keep the business running efficiently, from Hotel mgt perspective, I would consider increasing the staff force to preserve their fantastic employees.
Otherwise amazing services ! We will come back with pleasure.

Amazing hotel with beautifully decorated and spacious rooms. Absolutely loved the jacuzzi and the gorgeous sea views from the room. The welcome drinks were a nice touch and the food served by the restaurant was surprisingly good! Great service all around.
The latte is just coffee and milk at the moment - can be easily improved. But everything else was amazing.
