Wunderbare Tage auf San Christobal im Dolphin House

Sehr angenehme Unterkunft, sehr gute Lage, hilfsbereite Gastgeber mit guten Infos über mögliche Unternehmungen auf der Insel und Buchungen von Touren und der Fähre. Christian hat uns auf einer Tour selber begleitet und mit ihm als Guide haben wir sehr viel über die Galapagos erfahren. Es war ein toller Aufenthalt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank!!

Good value for money stay, be aware of the noise

Beautiful view over the port of San Cristobal, great location.

Extremely loud music until 3am from a nearby club especially on the weekend. I am not sensitive to loud music, but it was like sleeping in the club.

Good

Christian is a great host and he lives there at the property. He gave us some ideas for what to do and arranged a highlands tour with a taxi driver that he knows. He seems to know everyone in town! Christian responds to messages in booking.com quickly if you have a question. The hotel has a nice upper level patio area where guests can go to relax and enjoy the views.

The neighbors leave their dogs outside at night and they start barking off and on through the night. We got a little more used to it over the 5 nights that we stayed there.

Superb

Dolphin House is clean, relatively quiet (besides local dogs/cats) and a wonderful location. Christian, the host, is exceptional and helped us book our ferries, plan tours, and communicated with timeliness.

Dolphin House is a little oasis with very friendly staff.

Dolphin house is in a great location. We walked just about everywhere. Kelly at the front desk welcomed us and took the time with us to help plan our activities. She got us ferry tickets to Santa Cruz and arranged a Highland Tour for us. For this tour we had Christian who also worked at the Hotel. He was an excellent tour guide and spoke great English for us non speaking Spanish amigos. If you can get him for this tour, count yourself lucky!

It would be convenient if breakfast was served at the facility, however a bakery is two blocks away and the downtown center is a quick walk.

Superb

Dolphin house is located close to the main town and it is an easy walk to restaurants and to the beach. Our host, Christian, was extremely helpful and went out of his way to help us arrange tours and transport. The rooms are adequately equipped and have AC.

Superb

Great location, very close to beaches and downtown area. The place itself has a wonderful Terrance view and the room had everything necessary for my trip. The hosts were very kind and even let me keep my things at their office after my checkout time.

Excellent stay in San Cristobal

Absolutely perfect place to stay in San Cristobal. Very clean, well equipped room with comfortable beds. Guests have access to the terrace with view over marine. You can drink your beer or wine and enjoy beautiful sunset. Close to Playa Mann, malecón and main streets. Host Christian, very helpful with booking tours, transfers or just giving an overview of the island.

Great value hotel with outstanding view and exceptional service.

Excellent check-in experience. Excellent room with view. Hotel is at the quieter part of the town and close to everything. Cristian is very helpful throughout our booking process and during our stay. He helped us booked excellent tours. And when some of my family got sick and can't go on the trip, he helped sell the spots in last minute and helped us minimize the cost.

A well run family establishment.

Dolphin House is a well run, friendly, family run establishment. Located adjacent to town, and with its own travel agency (plus insider local knowledge), what’s not to love 😇.

Good location, nice and tidy hostel with great views from the balcony. 5 mins walk from the Main Street.

Staff changing terms of the stay after check-in, acting rude, unprofessional, making comments and “recommendations” about things that are non of their business.

Christian helped us book an excellent boat tour and he shared his knowledge of the flora and fauna of the island when he took us on a tour of the three major points of interest.

Lovely place with friendly, kind owners. The roof terrace has a great view and good facilities in the whole hostal

Although the location is close to waterfront its also by residential areas so can be noisy.

Amazing stay

Christian is an amazing host. He knows everything about the island and helped us with exploring and booking activities. Great room, great bed.

I would advice to bring earplugs because of dogs and a rooster that live around the block

Doophin House is the best !!

Dolphin house is a really great place to stay on San Cristobal ! It’s within 10 minutes from everything in town. Christian is a total legend ! He is really keen for you to have the best time - he gave us great advice, helped book tours and provided a good deal to hire wet suits, snorkels etc. I would say the rooms are better than the pictures look too.

the owners are super nice and made me feel really welcome! there’s a homey feeling and they helped me with everything I needed (even gifted me with bananas when I couldn’t find ones). they are very kind people! the location is good, the room is nice and clean.

Friendly staff, hot shower, convenient location at a good price!

The location is perfect! 5 mins walk to Playa Mann, 7 min walk to the malecon. Cristian is very helpful and took the time to explain activities in the area and how to get there. I highly recommend this budget friendly hotel. They also pick you up from the airport and drop you off for no additional charge which is a nice plus!

The room was very comfortable and the location was very good.

Only one member of the family seemed to care about me and my requests, the others totally ignored me. There's no kitchen available. They let you use some of their cutlery and mugs but you're not allowed to prepare any meal. I was disappointed.

Great overall.

The location was great. The place was clean and the staff very helpful. The rooms in the top floor share a beautiful terrace.

It doesn't have a common kitchen... .but they did let us use their fridge.
