Excellent, well cared for property!

Excellent well cared for property with everything we needed! Nice kitchen/dining area well stocked. Beds very comfortable. Manager was very pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed. She offered transport to airport for $10. Would not hesitate to recommend Terida!

Quiet, pleasant 'do-it-yourself' BnB in convenient airport location.

Proximity to airport is excellent; quiet sequestered home location; very good (self-serve) breakfast. Small facility so you will never be over-run with people -- nice courtyard, and self-serve kitchen to sit and chat.

Proprietors seemed tired (end of busy season?) -- felt more like a hostel than a BnB. Physical plant needing a bit more attention. No longer serving the delicious home-cooked meals that were once part of their fare; and a 10 minute narrow, busy mostly unlit, roadway to small stores and restaurants.

We didn’t have the breakfast but the coffee was excellent and the complimentary bananas and eggs was a nice touch. The location was great, close to the airport. We took a short cab ride from the airport and were warmly welcomed. Our room was very comfortable. Good beds, good shower, very clean. Nice seating area outside. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Yes, you hear the noise from the airport, what did you expect?

Lovely haven near the airport

Lovely couple that welcomed us. So friendly and professional. A haven of a home in San Jose. I was impressed by their kitchen with complimentary bananas, eggs, milk, and coffee/tea. A great spot to leave/take bug spray and sunblock.

Pleasant stay!

Very clean, free tea/coffee and fruits. Nice breakfast! Helpful host (we forgot something at the B&B and he gave it to the Uber driver, we sent), fast responses via WhatsApp.

Airplane noise (of course when sleeping so close to the airport) but ear buds help!

10/10 for a quick stop before a flight

They know what they are there for as an overnight stay before a flight and everything is tailored really simply and well to that purpose. Friendly and informative staff, suitable facilities, comfy bed and shower, additional services like breakfast to go and affordable any time transport to the airport.

It is a no frills hotel and obviously there is a little bit of airport noise being so close. No issues for us but you should be aware of it before booking.

Nice stay!

Great location for a 1 night stay after arriving into SJO airport in the evening. The property is in a gated community with free on-street parking. Clean bedroom and bathroom with communal kitchen facilities.

Perfect hotel close to the airport

Perfect location to be close to the airport, beautiful courtyard, very nice rooms. It feels that every part is so well thought through to make guests feel absolutely comfortable and welcome. Too bad we only stayed one night.

Good option near SJO airport

The communication from the property was good and they responded quickly to messages. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was airconditioning and hot water. The community kitchen with courtesy tea, coffee, eggs and fruit was a nice surprise. The management helped organize a very reasonably priced driver to take us to the airport in the wee hours of the morning. The gated lane way had some lovely trees. The price was very reasonable.

We liked everything but we do have some advice. It was a little hard to find how to get in as there was no sign out front and there were several properties in the lane. That said, we quickly figured it out. We would recommend bringing food to eat in the communal kitchen as the neighbourhood had limited restaurant options.

This is an awesome, locally run B&B!

This hotel is lovely. It’s run by a local couple who were SO helpful! From the moment I booked, they provided excellent communication for the weeks leading up to our trip. And when our taxi didn’t show up the next morning, Darren drove us to our shuttle pick up spot himself. He really helped us out of a serious pickle! It was a great stay.

The only thing I’ll mention is that with the excellent proximity to the airport comes the rumble of planes. Still worth the stay, but maybe bring some ear plugs.

Great location, close to airport. Very clean.

Extremely clean. The bed sheets were crisp and freshly ironed what was unexpected luxury. I appreciate he simplicity of decoration. The lady working there was supper friendly and brought a smile to my face. The owner was extremely efficient but distant. Good stay and we would definitely recommend this place.

Great stay close to SJO

Very clean accommodation that is super close to the airport and has everything you need. Good breakfast, nice hosts and comfortable vibe.

Airplanes flying over the accommodation can be quite loud but this is to be expected so close to the airport.

Very good value for money

Location. Perfect for late flights and close to the airport car rentals for pickup in the morning.

The only problem was the noise. They had earplugs provided though, because rooms are close to reception, there are planes going above and there is a train near by.

Good for 1st or last night

Location is close to the airport. A helpful host, you can ask for a breakfast to go prepared in advance. Comfy bed, warm shower, ok for stay before leaving. You can leave whenever you want. Parking in front of the entrance, behind gate to close the street.

The breakfast was a bit pricy for what you get. It's quite noisy because of planes, there is not so much soundproofing. We went out to get some goods from local minimarket, and didn't really feel safe in the neighborhood.

Great for stay by the airport

The room and facilities were gorgeous and exceptionally clean. Communication with the owners was great. Location is right by the airport but still walking distance to some shops and restaurants. Really good value.

Cash only which I didn’t realize (my bad) and had to go take out money.
