Disappointing and poor response from owner

The location was ok for getting to other places in the East neuk. The flat was dizzy and it was behind a building. No sea view, it was cold, there were little black flies when you were preparing edibles and I had to kill blue bottle flies also. I only stayed 2 nights as my son was I'll and I am a single parent, they have no one else. I have asked Sykes to refund part of my stay and the owner is asking for photographic evidence of flies, which I did not think to take. Then she asked for proof my son was ill. He is not happy to give details to a stranger. Can you help me get a refund please. I only stayed 2 nights.

Cleanliness, heat, light, beds, duvets. Clearer instructions on how to access the flat. I had to enlist the help of the owner of a shop she didn't even know where it was. We found it after 30 mins. Make clear there is absolutely no view from the flat.

Nice comfy apartment. Lovely location within a short distance of many similar sites. So peaceful.

Everything was fine. No additions required.

Fantastic place and area to say.

location was brilliant. Harbour was beautiful. Garden was lovely and spacious.Plenty of outside seating. The apartment had everything needed and more.

Nothing to dislike. We were more than pleased with this accommodation.

The sofa was a little uncomfortable and the and bed mattesses need replacing as you sank in the middle

A very nice stay in one of the only villages that I am not that familiar with.

An excellent property in a great location. Comfy and well equipped. Good facilities and a pleasant ambience.

Very good

The location is very close to the harbour. There is a garden available. The standard of kitchen was very good and also a wash machine is there.

The beds upstairs were a too soft. The wifi access didn't work. There is no view to the sea.

Location very good & garden handy when weather allowed.

Lovely clean home from home,had everything you could need for a relaxing break only the view from the apartment was poor

No view from windows and because of location of apartment quite dark inside having said that the apartment and facilities are excellent in themselves

I’m on a 10 week road trip. My stay in the Hayloft Will be memorable

The location , walks, restaurants.

Maybe a shelf in the downstairs bathroom for make up, hairbrush etc

Perfect place to stay for a retreat away

We couldn't have wished for a better location. Opening the door from the courtyard every day, to be right in front of the harbour, was just amazing. The flat itself was very cosy, and had everything we needed for a two-week stay (dishwasher and washing machine / dryer were a real bonus) ! The kitchen felt really big, which was great because we cook a lot. We enjoyed the bedroom under the roof, with its lovely views on the rocks and garden.

I wish the bath towels were bigger. And we wish they were a soap dish in the shower.

Great location and great accommodation resulted in a perfect stay.

Location is perfect. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Communication with host was great. Would definitely consider this property for future stays.
